I submitted a complaint, so Five Points CANCELLED my appointments for ALL of my animals. They won't even continue the vaccinations for the animals THEY put at risk. Five Points will kill your pets without a second thought and tell you it's "the standard".

The consultation with Kevin was breezy and he seemed like an excellent person. The procedure was around $600 out of pocket. I dropped her off early in the morning and picked her up in the late afternoon of Summer 2023. Angel was totally drunk off meds. Her incision isn't noticeable anymore, but when it was, it looked clean and efficient. They gave her a cone to keep her from attacking the cut. The cone is absolutely useless and that's the only reason they lose a star. Angel ate through the cone while I was sleeping. It was in tatters within 2 days and I had to toss it. Searching the internet for alternatives, I found a dog bodysuit designed to protect surgical patches and bought that. Long story short, when I called the hospital to see if they had alternate choices to the cone, they offered a second cone. For Angel to eat?? And then, much later, though I made it clear I already had a vet and were just using them for the procedure, they kept contacting me for checkups, medication, shots, etc. So I had to call them to ask them to stop, as they were assuming they were my new vet. I feel as if a vet hospital should give or have options other than the cone for when their Plan A fails and they didn't. Still, it's a fine place. A.

They did give us choices though. Which were just wonderful at home services. My family chose to go back to Fuquay Veterinary Hospital because of the care was nothing I have ever seen. It was wonderfully incredible . My cat Max had his trials and tribulations through life and well he was my $6k cat . My daughter and I were greeted w smiles and comfort and immediately put in a room. It was emotional, but Doctor Cotton kept us at ease and Max was ok because usually it wldve bn a nightmare. It was the most pleasant way and comfortable way so he didn't have to suffer. They allow time to stay and it was nice because we were one of the last care appointments. I highly recommend Fuquay Veterinary Hospital. They officially have my 2 other fur babies for patients and I wldnt have it any other way.

Took my dog up there on 27th of August for cherry eye surgery and to get spayed. $1000s of dollars later and multiple vet bills bc my dog got really sick from meds and had to be hooked to IV's. 2 weeks after final eye check up cherry eye is back out. They tell us that they could do surgery again for discounted rate. Something wasn't done right bc no way if it was stitched properly it would last less than a month. They did say it probably will never come back out but could when she gets older and here i am $1000s of dollar spent and have the same looking dog with huge cherry eye after spending money on surgery, diarrhea meds, probiotics, eye creams, cones, changing her foods bc her stomach was so sensitive afterwards... I'm beyond frustrated and the lack of accountability from Clayton Animal Hospital is just astounding. Fix what you didn't do right is all I'm asking... Side note: 2 weeks after surgery we started seeing the white stitching string. The vet said this is normal. Now I don't think it is bc I think the stitching was coming out. We are leaving this practice after years, and THOUSANDS UPON THOUSAND UPON THOUSANDS of $$$. 1. Front staff is apathetic, and uncaring and bordeline rude at times. Especially young lady with long black hair. There is one lady with light brown hair and southern accent that is nice, but that is the exception. 2. Wait times are unacceptable. They rarely honor appointment times. You can expect to wait 25-45 minutes for a drop off appointment and well over an hour after your appointment time for your pet to be seen. You also can expect to wait 25-45 minutes for them to bring your pet out to you after drop offs or procedures. 3. Prices have increased steadily and consistently, and they often push very expensive and often times unnecessary tests. The prices that they charge do not commiserate with the experience you receive there. They have made multiple mistakes, and do not admit when they are wrong. This morning, I had a tech appt to have my cat's blood drawn. It was an appointment that needed to be prompt, because he needed blood drawn within 4-6 hours of meds. Because they were late (yet again) he missed that window. They did not seem to care when my husband mentioned he was concerned that the window was missed, annd just said, well it's been done now. They had that our appointment this morning was a drop off, when in fact, it was not. Then they blamed their error on my spouse and said that he knew it was drop off appointment because they had discussed that he needed to have his blood drawn within a given time window. They missed that window because they were late. AGAIN. You can't justify charging exhorbitant amounts for services, and then be consistently late, rude and apathetic about it. They don't seem to have the staff that is needed to service this large of a practice. They need to overhaul this practice if they want to stay in business. We will be transferring all but one of our animals (except for the one that is ongoing cancer treatment with Dr. Bray) to a smaller (non corporate) local practice. I mentioned this to the young lady at the desk with the black hair, and she really could not have given a crap.

How ever I give 4 stars because the lady in the front desk is very rude. She has no manners or maybe she used to be a jail warden and still is in that mode. It's kind of funny to me that the clinic it's between a hair salon and a Chinese restaurant; very small, narrow clinic. They don't do any orthopedics but they do spay and neuter. Dr Davis is not pushy and won't strained you with a mount of procedures you "must" do for your pet. He will however give you a throughout advise and let you make your own decisions about your pet. My dog had an minor emergency so I called the vet, the lady at the front desk said no appointments until 2 weeks later, I went ahead and set it up asking to be called if anyone else canceled. Later I called again to cancel appointment because I found elsewhere to go, but Dr Davis answered I told him what was going on and darn it he said to come in that same day! He said I shouldn't have had to wait! In another incident last year, during the pandemic, my dog was due for her shots. I stayed behind the red tape that was on the floor, as indicated. But when my dog saw the vet she went towards him to greet him and stepped over the red tape. OMG! The front desk lady had a cow. She yelled at us to stay in the other side of the tape, she asked if we didn't read the sign. Dr Davis approached faster and said to her "it's ok Luna is just being nice, she can't tell the difference if there's a tape or not". Overall this is a good vet to take your pet for regular visits.
