They figured out how to quickly fix a leaking sliding door that no other contractors could figure out (because others wouldn't listen). They had the door out, fixed whatever needed fixing and back together in a day. A day!! Not two or ten...but just one. I was amazed at how quick it was and now it doesn't leak any more. I had a few of my wooden interior steps reinforced because they started sagging and felt like they might collapse. Now, they don't move and feel sturdier than the other stairs which is what I wanted. They also replaced an old bathroom window that was permanently stuck open with a new window and no damage to the granite frame. Servpro of Worcester cleaned out our home and took care of the damaged belongings, they did amazing! That is until they laid off the best staff we met and then the demo work needed to be done. Our kitchen was torn up and our floors due to water damage. We were being told by the supervisor, this was okay and they were in talks with insurance. Time going by and by and we stopped getting phone calls or updates on the project. Finally received an email randomly that they're still working on an estimate for rebuild. This was 10/29/24. My husband and I tried again and again sending emails, phone calls, texts to the supervisor and contractor. Nothing. The secretary didn't even answer. I finally reached out via email(see pictures) with the advice of some more experienced family and this company just dropped us no questions asked. Our insurance adjuster and I had a conversation immediately following this email and he said the company had not been in touch with them since about September and hadn't gotten ANY approval to tear up our house this way. The adjuster said it may have been fine to do so AFTER approval but now are working towards covering this damage. The adjuster spoke to the Servpro supervisor himself and was basically told to pound sand and if they don't get paid the bill was being sent to me and my husband. To say we are stunned, frustrated, and TIRED is an understatement. We want to go home and that has been pushed even longer because of this company. Turns out we needed some urgent repair work to the caulking and grouting. Called Sir Grout and spoke with Chris, who came and took a look. He confirmed the work needed to be done, but told us he was book up for the next three weeks. We explained what a jam we were in, not being able to use the shower for three weeks, he moved things around and got the repairs done two days later. Great work, great value, and a pleasure to do business with. We'll definitely be calling Sir Grout for anything we need down the road.
