She helped me pick the color out and gave me her input without being pushy at all which I really appreciated. I walked in with some man hands and left feeling like a princess. Jessica took her time cleaning my cuticles and really took care of me. I love when you can tell that the person loves what they do and that HER Lacquer has an extremely friendly staff who is very talented and they take pride in their salon. My nail tech was Peter, he was very also polite and gentle with my nails but the final result was not what I had asked for. I originally asked for white cat-eye nails. The cat-eye effect was barely visible, and the color looked different from what I expected. I also wasn't completely happy with the overall finish of the nails. The nails are okay but I will definitely not be going back to get them done there again. I understand that mistakes can happen, but for the price I paid ($90 + $10 tip), I was hoping for a result that matched the inspiration and my expectations more closely. I also called in to see if I can get some adjustments on the nail polish but they said it would be another $30 for polish removal. I hope the salon can improve communication with clients and pay closer attention to the details of the service being requested.

I had put in my name and cell, and figured I would call in the morning to try to get in touch. 10 minutes later the owner of the salon, Dey, texted me to see if she could help me with my appointments. In under 5 minutes she responded again to tell me I had 3 mani/pedis at noon the next day. We walked in and were promptly greeted by friendly staff. The girls were brought to their pedicure chairs immediately and mine was available a few minutes later. The process was amazing - they do the mani and the pedi at the same time - 2 nail techs working on your services. Needless to say, I've never experienced anything like it!
