Overrated the place looks great offered me and my wife good customer service but the burger was just underwhelming. We ordered the JFK with a large order of curly fries which were awesome but the burger lacked any real endearing qualities other than being overloaded with way too many toppings that didn't truly bring any flavor to the beauty its self. There was ample seating and its interior design is cool and spacious it also offers outside seating as well. Overall the experience was great but the meal quality left a lot to be desired.

As an American, I'm pretty discerning about my burgers and I can say that Lily Burger is the best burger I've had in Berlin thus far (vs. The Bird, BBI, Burgermeister, Tommi's). Yes, it's a big one (so you'll have to cut it in half) but the meat is high quality, super juicy, and toppings well-balanced. You'll be overwhelmed with choices (it feels like they have 50 options), I picked one with mushrooms, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Pro tip: Get the fried potato skins, they are incredible!! Whoever came up with the idea to fry the leftover potato skins is a genius, these sealed the deal for me.

In a word - one crazy burger place, with burgers from your wildest dreams. Yes, it is pricy. Yes, it takes time. Yes, it is worth the wait. Longer version (for the brave) - it's been a while since my last review, due to plenty of reasons.. But something has to be said about this place. Reviews here were kind of misleading, but I came here through a personal tip from a fellow burger lover, and it was sooooo good. If you come here, prepare your cash as this place ain't cheap. But the menu is insane - you have over 20 types of "normal" burgers to choose from, starts with a simple patty and ends up in a crazy mixture of beef and chocolate, maple syrup and all sorts of stuff Not enough? You got special dishes of 500g and more Not enough? You can order a ten-party massive burger combo Veggie? Vegan? They got that sorted out too Feel like sweets? They got deep fried EVERYTHING - from your fav chocolate bars to ice cream Be warned, it will be hard to walk after this meal. When we arrived the place was rather empty so we were lucky enough to not wait for too long, and as the burgers came out it took me a few minutes to figure out how to take the first bite. I had the el partisan and my friend had the al kapone, it was a struggle but we managed to eat them all plus sweet potato fries. Keep in mind that when they say it's spicy - it's spicy, if you are a bit sensitive you better ask them to go easy on you. I love spicy food and the challenge was manageable for me but it did feel too spicy in several bites. Gonna let the pics do the talking for me. Overall- a great experience, gotta come back for some more goodies from their awesome menu.

The beef was very good and overall the burgers were also very good, this coming from someone who's from LA and has quality burgers on every corner. The majority of the burgers in Europe in general (Berlin is pretty good though) are terrible pre made frozen patties that they just plop on the grill. These burgers tasted fresh and like actual meat. The menu seems a little mashed up too much, lots of burgers sharing the same toppings, and every burger besides like three had BBQ sauce on them. Burgers hardly ever should have BBQ sauce, maybe two or three options, not fifteen. The prices were really expensive, not just for Berlin, but for any burger in general. The prices all range from €10-20 for the burger only. Too much.

No words! This place is amazing, I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I live in NYC and travel around the world but but this place has absolutely the best organic meat ever!!! I've been eating here five days in a row :) don't let me even star about their amazing crew and the service 100000%

It only took one glance at the ginormous burgers and massive plates of curly fries for me to decide that visiting Lily Burger was my new life goal. We popped in about 2pm on a Saturday: the restaurant was quiet enough to find a table, but busy enough for a nice atmosphere. Old school hip hop blared from the radio, neon signs advertised their deep-fried chocolate bars (making me a wee bit home-sick) and I was happy to see kitchen roll on the tables: burger eating is messy business, after all. As for the menu... there were so many different options I wish I'd studied in advance. It's a menu that requires a good ten minutes to make sure you know what your options are and that you're making the right choice. The sides section is just as thorough as the burger section. I almost cried with joy when I saw a whole section dedicated to chips with different blue cheese toppings. After flirting with the burger with about 5 different types of cheese on it, I eventually decided on the marginally less artery clogging burger with blue cheese, guacamole, mushrooms and onions. We couldn't decide whether to get a side of fries, curly fries, or chips, but we decided to go for chips. We're from Scotland and totally forgot that in American restaurants chips aren't chunky fries, but what we call crisps. Anyway, I'm glad we made a mistake because our crisps arrived and they were AMAZING. Hot out the fryer, and with a side of garlicky creamy knofi sauce. Seriously, forget ketchup and mayo: order the knofi. We ordered our burgers rare and they were absolutely delish. Unfortunately I could only eat about three quarters of mine because it was so rich and filling: this is unheard of btw, I'm a greedy pig. They're absolutely huge burgers and are very difficult to eat, it took me a while to figure out a strategy for getting it into my mouth. Got there in the end, though. We didn't eat anything else for the rest of the day. That's a thumbs up from me! I will definitely be going back, even if it is just to sink my teeth into a platter (or two) of chips with blue cheese.

Use to be much tastier and the service become wors . Use to be my favorite vegan burger in Berlin but not anymore. Something changed but not in the good way

Stopped by because it was close. While open this seems like a night place. Rather empty at this hour. Walls are black and the wrap is thumping Still the burgers are tasty and fries are great Had the JFK burger. Not sure what makes it a JFK but it was good.

You call this medium rare?!?!?!?! Wtf?!?!?!
Miki N.

Loooooong ass wait for the food following with arrogant attitude on judging if the burger is medium rare. Atmosphere is weird. Music is loud and not my type. Ppl r supper unfriendly. I paid 10 euro to get food! Not a one and a half hour wait, neither for telling me what's a right way of making medium rare burger!

Sooooo tasty! Really filling... But the chips are delish! Burger around 12€. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a Burger in Berlin.

They're huge and they are a little bit more expensive than say Burgermeister but definitely bigger, more diverse, and definitely worth the price!

He found one in fact, that's so satisfactory, and even more fantastic that they have a Barrel Aged one for only €10. (this is easily $16 in San Francisco!) I had two of these and was about to order a third one when someone (blame my husband) decided it was time to go home :( okay, okay. He had a legit reason, we had a 8am flight the next day. That didn't stop the crew from ordering multiple rounds of brewski, from IPAs to classic witbier or just ask the staff for the current specials and they can recommend something to your liking. Centrally located in Prenzlauer berg, this is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. The group was in a bitter sweet mood as it always goes on our last night in Berlin since we only see them twice a year. No doubt, I will be back to Salt n Bone. Especially since the menu is unapologetically American and in the land of currywurst and doner kebabs, that's definitely a good thing.

Since we wanted to help his parents, he added other vietnamnese dishes made by his parents. What was good: DEFINITELY the burgers! That's why this place was created in the first place. The signature umami burger for 7.90€ is absolute bomb. Nice soft sweet butter brioche bun with two thin sliced black angus beef patty's on a slight spicy wasabi kind of mayonnaise. It was good! You can't go wrong with burger here! The umami meatless for 7.50 tasted slightly different because the beef makes a lot of difference. The patty is more bean flavored. Overall the burgers are great but heavy and greasy! What we'd skip next time: The pho was good but not outstanding. 9.90€ is slightly higher priced than other spots in Berlin. Same for the bun cha lot 9.90€. Dau Sot Ca for 5€ could be entire dish by itself that lacked in flavor where you could taste the tomato ketchup in the sauce. For 5€ it's a good deal. The chicken nuggets karaage for 5.50€ were crispy, crunchy and soft, served in a sweet sour sauce which was good! Overall: we love this place because of the owners attitude to help his parents and fulfill his dreams. This place is Definitely not a tourist trap although it's customers are mostly tourists. Momo tavern used to be ranked on #1 on TripAdvisor and when it comes to there burgers - it's definitely worth a visit. When it comes to the rest it's not super special and might be slightly overpriced due to the location right at the Alexander Platz Fernsehturm. Would we come again? If we really crave burger - yes for the umami burger!

The fries here are great, the buns are crispy and pretty much everything about the burger is satisfying--but the patties themselves are kind of meh. They are crispy and juicy on the outside but kind of have a texture on the inside that feels un-fresh and filler-y. The patties are clearly pre-formed and the weakest part of their offering, but they grill them up nice with a proper amount of char, and then ladle on the delicious toppings. Colleen C. has the right of it on ordering; you go in and order from the grill first. Don't worry about drinks or anything. They don't care. Just let them know what they need to cook up. Then grab your drinks, find a seat and wait for your order to be yelled out. Return your plates at the end (there are tiny bins scattered around) and pay by letting them know what you had, drinks and all. Burgers are cheap (3-6 EUR) and each menu option has a "baby" variant that's a bit smaller and about a Euro cheaper. Sides (fries, wedges) are 1-2 EUR and giant bottles of ketchup and mayo come gratis. The "chili-cheeseburger", which like most places in Berlin, isn't American chili but rather a *spicy* burger with jalapeños, cheese spread and a spicy red sauce. It's a tasty, gooey mess. The wedges are also pretty satisfying. If you opt for the sour cream, know that it's more like an herb cheese dip than sour cream. Still good, but different than what I was expecting. A full meal (burger, side, drink) should set you back no more than 9 EUR.
