He waited in the lobby and took the cart back so I didn't have to walk it back (his words). But in that time, he was so kind, conversation was so natural, and you could tell he was a kind soul. Recently I've taken on some new responsibilities that require a lot of online work with uploads and downloads. I am a Titanium Elite member of Marriott so they provide me with the "enhanced" WiFi for free. Let me tell you that their internet service is TERRIBLE!. It's capped at about 5mbps. I had to go to McDonald's across the street so I could get some work done. If you want a decent hotel with a modern bathroom and a shower that splashes all over the floor because it's the cool new thing... then this is your place. If you actually need to get any work done and need WiFi, this place will let you down. I asked the staff and they all complained about how terrible it is too. It's so bad, I've begun looking into Hilton for some future stays and asking AI about the internet at their hotels. I may stop by and talk to them before I leave because I'm supposed to come back in two weeks for another 2 week stay. It won't be at this hotel.

The amenities here are lacking, but you get what you pay for. There is a free breakfast buffet style each morning and at 2pm each day it's free popcorn and cookies up for grabs. I prefer hotel elevators that you have to scan your hotel key in order to go to a floor and this hotel didn't have that. I believe this is a safety feature that should be implemented at every hotel. Some of the rooms have a standard tub and curtain or a stand up shower with glass doors. I prefer the later option, but stayed in a room with a standard tub and curtain. I guess now that I know this, for future reference I'd request a stand up shower with glass doors. I flew into town and either walked, catched the trolley, or did rideshare so I didn't pay the parking fee.

Being greeted in the morning to our cheerful hosts and one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while was a fine polish to end my stay. I cannot recommend this place enough.
