Most photographers seemed to have a cookie cutter approach, but she really took the time to understand not only what I was looking for in photos, but also understand me. She told me to bring in as many outfits as I needed and helped me pick out the best two for my photoshoot--giving me advice on what would look best in front of the camera. As we took the photos she showed them to me so I could tell her what I liked and what I didn't. She made me feel very comfortable and encouraged me to show my personality. When I booked her for my wedding, I was told that she "meets with the bride a month beforehand to give the bride all her attention." When we tried to schedule a meeting, she was too busy. I ended up calling and she was driving. I took notes and emailed her but was not given the time for her to understand my wants. On the day of the wedding Brittany's second photographer spent her time taking photos of my dress and shoes...without me in them. I specifically said I didn't care for these, nor did I need pictures of the decor. I wanted photos of PEOPLE, as was discussed in our phone call. During the reception, Brittany got her caricature done by an artist we hired for OUR guests. This took away from photos of guests she could have taken. We ended up with only 10 pictures of guests. When we received the photos (TWO MONTHS after the wedding), there were things that disappointed my husband and I such as the quality of photos, what was photographed (decor and the dress/rings), and the lighting of photos. Brittany is fixing the lighting best she can on most of the photos. We do not feel we received the care and dedication I've seen in previous work from Bay Productions. I am disappointed in the unprofessionalism and how my concerns were handled. If you book Bay Productions, be sure to have a face-to-face pre-wedding meeting. They do amazing photos, their truest work was just not shown in my wedding photos.

Kelly is laid back and easy to get along with. She's very down to earth and our kind of people. She was simply a pleasure to work with. We did the maternity pics at the Dallas Arboretum, per her suggestion, and we covered a lot of territory - and we got a lot of beautiful pictures! Lot of different angles, lot of different backgrounds, lot of flattering angles, and many great family shots to boot. She was so good with our son, who was only 3 at the time. Extra bonus: she has a membership there and can bring guests, so we got free entry to the Arboretum as part of our photo shoot. Next up were newborn pics. Kelly scheduled 3 hours and I thought, nah, our baby is laid back and this'll take an hour or so. Oh so wrong. Five hours later... Just like our son, our daughter knew just when to NOT be sleepy and pose-able for newborn pics. And Kelly was ever-so-patient and wonderful and stayed well past our originally scheduled time slot. After it was so hard to get the baby pics, I was pretty nervous they wouldn't turn out well. Baby was wakeful and moving and fussy and... ugh. I just knew we'd be disappointed. We waited not so patiently for our pictures... and when they arrived, RELIEF. They were GORGEOUS! Lots of great shots to choose from! We were so impressed! Kelly's 5 hours of patience and tenacity paid off! Speaking of paid off, did I mention Kelly is VERY reasonably priced? I won't quote anything here because I realize markets change and her rates could change, but she was WAY cheaper than most professional photographers. So not only did we get a great deal, but we got beautiful, professional-quality photos as well. We really couldn't be happier. Only other note: Kelly is a working mom and she's pretty popular.
