From capturing our true selves and the elation/feeling we had in that moment, to incredible editing, to having a keen eye for the 'special moments', she does it all. - We had a large wedding party (23 to be exact) and she was impressively assertive (but not aggressive) to keep us on our timeline. - We received multiple compliments from guests the day of our wedding on her professionalism and friendliness. Other - Madison brings a portable speaker to each shoot and let us choose the music to reduce nerves/make us more comfortable. - She made quick and impressive judgement calls on the fly on lighting, location, timing - she's got an eye for these things. - She provided meaningful wedding-day tips outside of photography. - She sent us 50 photos in our sneak peek within 48 hours of our wedding day, and delivered all of our photos weeks before the agreed-upon date. - Madison is incredibly prompt at responding to emails and always has a friendly demeanor when we had requests or ideas. And finally, there is no shadow of a doubt Madison will be our photographer as we go through life's big milestones. Ranjani is the best…read more She has much of the necessary information on her site, and I'd certainly suggest looking at her work before booking, but for people who don't know how to look for a photographer, I would say ask as many questions as it takes. After inquiring about her services, I think most people will be set at ease about the whole experience. She's very professional and assuring, and as someone who didn't know what to look for, I can say it was relieving to have her work for us, because as the process went on, I realized there were too many things we would never have thought about. That lady had it totally under control. It's important to choose workers and helpers who won't be helpless on the day of an event (she shot our wedding) and it was abundantly clear after speaking with her that she knew her business. Just a conversation about the process can really set you at ease. I cannot say enough about the care she takes in planning for events. She was incredibly respectful of our wishes, and made sure to ask about whether certain shots were even allowed in order to best honor our day, and also get us the best shots possible. Talking with her through our time-line actually helped us plan the majority of our wedding day, which was a big stress-reliever! She takes charge just enough to get the job done well without mowing anyone over. She will listen to every concern, reassure you when you ask the same questions 28 times, prepare for your forgetfulness (because she's worked with frazzled brides before!), and still show up with a smile on her face, ready to go, and ready to be flexible when you realize you forgot to tell her to take extra pictures of your grandparents. He was able to find an appointment slot that fit into my busy schedule. He came prepared, on time and ready to work. AND THE RESULTS... I was absolutely speechless when I looked at the pictures and video. He captured angles of my house that I never paid attention to. These images made me fall in love with my home once again.
