9/26/24 The First Lilly's Spa we went to was a disappointment. However, this Lilly's Massage met a satisfactory conclusion for the many Lilly Massage establishments in Seattle Washington. I noticed this Massage location when I did some traveling on my own in Seattle Washington. Originally I planed on writing about every Massage place I visited in Seattle Washington and posting them all at one time, but things did not go according to plan. I now have pictures of places I visited, but no reviews on them all of them. I am now working on them and the 93 other drafts I have in my possession on Yelp. This Lilly's Massage is located near the Lynnwood Mall in Seattle Washington. They use to be located in another section of a shared office building. Now they have aquired the front entrance of the building and have used the space to their advantage. There are several rooms for private massage, an open space area for foot and body massage and a open section for chair massage. My wife went to the open section for a two hour massage. I was lead to a private room for my two hour massage. Both my wife and I prefer to get our massage sessions done separately when possible. The massage room I was in was spacious, but I feel they need a carpet inside the massage rooms. Something soft for the clientele's bare feet to walk on while making your way to the massage table. Just a thought. While visiting Seattle this year (2024), I discovered I had developed Frozen Shoulder. I did not learn the name of this annoying pest until after my return from Seattle Washington. Like a boil on your thighs and butt, they don't leave and cause you pain and discomfort. I was feeling pain and discomfort when trying to sleep on my Aunt's guesthouse bed. I told my therapist "I would need to get my shoulder worked on." The lady who's name I now longer remember will be called Roxanne for name purposes...Try not to scream this name in your mind. THE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE: On this one and only occasion, I am having trouble remembering if I was draped for this two hour session with Roxanne. As it turns out, I do not remember. Nevertheless, Roxanne started off with using pressure on my back and shoulders. I would like to say she was on top of the massage table applying direct press to my upper back and shoulders. I can't begin to tell you wait a relief for me it was. Roxanne kept this up moving down my back and gluteus maximus. The sleeping on the spring mattress at my Aunt's house wasn't doing me any favors. I found out later on, that the spring mattress was hurting my wife too. We are both use to a Memory Foam Mattress. My shoulders..., and more importantly, my right shoulder were very stiff. The same could be said for my back, glutes and legs. Roxanne worked on these muscles with precision and speed. Roxanne had only begun with the preliminaries without using oil or lotion. Roxanne helped treat the problems that my shoulder pains were causing. I have not been able to entirely get rid of my Frozen Shoulder, but it is not the same as it was in Seattle Washington. The treatment continued with Roxanne as she finished the preliminaries and started in with the oil. Roxanne combined some stretching in the the massage as it helped relieve the tension in my body. The feeling of falling asleep while the massage is going on would be nice, but not ideal. Why? You might be asking. In short, you will miss all the heavenly glory. Deeper explanation...so you are not cheated out of your massage time, you don't miss the feeling of the massage by falling asleep and letting your therapist know if you want more or less pressure on a specific area of your body. By the time Roxanne was done with my whole back area, sleep sound like a good idea. It didn't happen though. Flipping over, the process started over again. I don't remember if I said "yes" to a head massage, but I did want a stomach massage. If done right, it can help clear out the food that has latched itself to your intestines. Roxanne did the stomach massage correctly, hence the trip to the bathroom after my massage. The Thai Stretching with the deep massage Roxanne did had me feeling like an million bucks by the time she was done. Roxanne did check on my shoulder one last time to make sure the discomfort was gone. I truly appreciate her efforts. The pain was gone for a few days. This place was worth going to unlike the disappointment of some of the other places I visited. More on this later. I think I will come back here should I get the chance. My wife wasn't so happy later on with what the male therapist did. He removed one pain, but caused a more sinister pain in the days that followed to my wife's back. I don't see her returning here to this guy again. I do appreciate what Roxanne did and tipped her before leaving. We ended up being the last clients of the night, because the staff left shortly after we did. Not a bad way to end the day. read more

I've been coming to Lily Massage once or twice a month and always enjoyed the massage quality. Unfortunately, today's experience with one of their staff members completely ruined it for me. I called around 10:30 AM to check availability. The employee (said her name was "Amy") responded in a very dismissive way and didn't clearly answer my question. She suggested I come around 11:30 or after 12 but didn't offer to book an appointment or even ask for my name. To avoid wasting time, I called back around 12:30 PM to confirm availability before heading over. That's when things got worse. She raised her voice and said: "I don't know where you are, what time you'll get here, or how long it takes you!" I was honestly shocked. I was just asking if there was availability -- a completely normal question. Instead of helping, she stayed rude, gave vague answers again, and didn't offer any solution like making a reservation. When I asked how their booking system works, she still didn't clarify anything. When I asked for her name because of her behavior, she refused at first, then got defensive, said she would "talk to the owner," and hung up on me. I've never been treated this way as a paying customer. It's disappointing because I actually liked this place, but no service is worth being disrespected. There are many massage businesses out there -- and customer service absolutely matters. If this is how customers are treated, it's only a matter of time before people stop coming back. read more

This was my first ever massage so I was nervous but I told the masseuse that I had sciatica in my right leg and to please focus that spot if she could and my God! The attention and care she put in was amazing, like she felt the pain and adjusted accordingly and it truly just made me appreciate the effort because I could tell she had the skill to really read my body like that and isolate that pain. I came in for upper body massage which service was really nice, guy was extremely strong. I appreciated this. I really wish my arms were worked on more as requested, my forearms specifically. Next time I will speak up directly more for the arm work. If you are looking for a good back massage, request the younger male he was really really good. And I have had dozens of massages. I will come back, I did enjoy the massage. The only thing (which isn't a big deal to me) is the rooms are open at the top, so you can hear everyone. While I'm not here for a relaxation massage, some might find this bothersome. Now time to go for a nice hot epsom soak! *edit* Massage was $60 and under $99 they charge a $3.00 fee for card. This place mandates tip! I have visited a few times and every time during checkout they demand a cash payment. Since I do not carry cash, I paid using visa as usual but the lady at the counter started punching in the tip amount without my approval. (25%++) The lady got really emotional when I tried to intervene and ignored me completely afterwards. (I still tipped, but not the amount they suggested.) I am absolutely disgusted that they are forcing customers to pay excessive tip. This irrational demand needs to stop immediately if they wish to maintain their customer base. My massage here was fabulous! I took advantage of the re-open deal and did the 90 minute couples massage with my partner. We have already booked another! The massage was amazing and the massage therapists were sensitive to my needs regarding pressure and heat. I left feeling like I had a whole new back. 90 minutes wasn't long enough! Lily Massage was very clean and I had very little concern regarding covid safey. Seems like they know what they are doing. The only downside is that there were people in the waiting room for parts of our massage and we could hear them talking. Called to make an appointment and I was told I could come in a couple of hours after the call, which was fine. I was never asked my name for the appointment, although I did offer it. When I arrived, I was greeted right away, asked if I had an appointment and taken directly to the room. No checking my name against a register or anything. The location is clean and inviting. The table has a nice warm pad but just a donut pillow rather than a true massage table. I know that my back, shoulders and neck are very tight but despite the fact that I was moaning and asked for less pressure, the masseuse seemed to think every knot should be released and rapidly. I only asked for 1/2 hour but would have happily been done after 5 minutes for all the pain. At this point in the evening afterwards, I have so much more pain in my shoulders and back! It even hurts to sit against the back of a chair or to take a deep breath. I should have stopped her when she kept putting so much pressure to my super tight body - pressure which led to pain which led to more tension, not release! I just hope it doesn't lead to rhabdomyolysis! Thankfully I was already very well hydrated and continued to hydrate through the day. I'm sad to say I won't be back. I appreciated the price point but maybe I got what I paid for? Also, just an FYI, they charge extra for using credit cards. read more

Driving down from Vancouver BC. My lower back and shoulder blades was sore from the drive and been on some antibiotics recently. I found lilys massage on yelp search and wasn't sure what to expect. I got Ben and he was very accommodating. This was first massage for me in Seattle and he went above and beyond my expectations. You can tell he's very professional at what he does because I've been to a lot of Massues and RMTs in my day. It was a good change from Thai massages because at this time I do not want anyone stepping on me. Ben got all the knots and stayed after hours to accommodate my much needed massage therapy. My girl is a smaller woman, around (5'1 115lbs) She wasn't too happy with the amount of pressure her therapist applied for what we thought was a gentle and relaxing massage. She was very sore and expressed to me that her back was hurting at the end. I'm 6'0 200lbs and even my massage and therapist was pretty rough. I just had a phenomenal massage at Lily's Massage. The therapist was very skilled and strong! I felt relaxed and renewed. I like that you can get a 'package' of body and feet massage. In my hour session, all of my body parts just melted. The one hour features the use of hot rocks and when oil is added to them and used as a tool, it gives a great, solid feel. It wasn't like deep tissue or Swedish style. The physical layout of the place is a little different. The massage rooms aren't walled to the ceiling, and you can sometimes hear therapists at work in different rooms, and loud conversations at the front. I am very happy I found this location. We booked in advance for a couples massage one late Friday night. We showed up and it was a very clean new location which was very nice! We were shown a room and settled in for a wonderful massage. It was really well done and the hot stone was a very nice touch. I mean a really good massage that relaxes me. I am very picky and not easily pleased so I highly recommend them. As someone stated there are no ceiling walls but there was no one else there. However, I must state the two masseuse's kept talking sometimes low and high through the entire massage. At one point i thought she was whispering to my man. I literally looked up because I couldn't understand why she was talking so low. It was annoying and is a pet peeve of mine. I'm debating going back because of this or I may just have to request no talking.. which seems rude but isn't that a given? If negative stars where possible I'd give -10 to this place, I never write reviews but just 30 minutes ago I had been violated by this place, I had called around 1:25 to make an appointment the guy I spoke to said no problem we can get you in at 2 today, I said okay I'll be a little early and I explained the services I needed, I arrived about 10 minutes early, I go inside and am greeted by the same ladies who I've gotten a massage from many times over the last year, and they ask me about my appointment I said at 2 pm for 1 hour massage, well 5 minutes into the massage while I am indecent, one of the ladies comes barging in talking to my masseuse. They speak and she repeats "lady lady" a few times I'm kind of confused but I've been there many times and they've interrupted before so I didn't think she was talking to me. Well she shook me to get my attention. Mind you at this point that towel/blanket that they put on you is down to my butt, the door is wide open and she's yelling at me now. She proceeded to ask me where I called. I said here. Pretty unsure now because she was so rude, the gal that's massaging me and her both laugh now and tell me again while I'm almost naked that I'm at the wrong place and that they are busy today and I need to get up and leave. Or that I can lay down and sleep while they pat me on the back, and tell me to just nap and they're free at 3, Again the door is wide open. Even if I was the one who made the mistake wtf lady. They leave greet the people who apparently had appointments. But I get up super confused grab all my stuff and look at my phone, I've been here many times. There's no way I called the wrong place. I checked and her phone starts ringing.
