Unfortunately judging by Trans response to my previous review she has missed the point and demonstrates exactly how she conducts her business : by blaming and making excuses. It became extremely evident that the minute we changed to a different realtor we were able to sell the property within one month and for the price we wanted. We had a much better personal, to the point, one on one communication without the nonsense redundant spam emails and had no issue with open houses. Its all smoke and mirrors. You are lucky that your careless realtor did not break the 2k AC unit. It's never wise to push any electronics to the limit. You are responsible if you break it. Just a friendly reminder. A good salesperson would never say the things she did. It's always better to accept your mistakes and see if you can do better in the future. This way, at least I could recommend you to others but I cannot due to your lack of effort and acknowledgement. Having too much pride is not the best way to improve business. Lily will make you feel like you are her only client, when in reality she has a lot going on. She is very popular in real estate in Forest Hills and all around Queens. We listed our home for sale with Lily. Lily came back with multiple offers after half day of showing. Like all real estate transactions, there were hiccups along the way, but Lily handled everything with ease. She is also very responsive. If we ever needed her, we sent a text message and within minutes she responded! She was always calm and reassuring. She was always there with us every single step of the way. Lily also has a lot of connections in the real estate sector. We used all of her recommendations - contractor, attorney, mortgage lender, etc. And because of her connections, it has made the transactions smoother. For example, at one point we wanted our buyer's file to get clearance with the bank right away so we can move along with our purchase (we were selling and buying at the same time). Usually it takes 2-3 business days for the bank's underwriter to review and clear a client's file. But Lily was able to leverage her connections with the mortgage lender and got our buyer's file cleared within 2-3 hours! In the business world customer service is very important. I was looking for a place to purchase and happened to walk past an open house that Lily Tran was doing at the time. She was polite and walk me around briefly and handed me her business card. Because I felt that she was professional, I followed up with her ( via email and left a Voice message as no one responded). I provided a detailed explanation of what I was looking for and specifically asked for a couple of locations ( buildings) that I was interested in. I never heard back from her or her team. I'm guessing there was either an assumption made of the amount I could spend on the property or perhaps she was too busy to respond, but either way I don't feel this is the best way to deal with potential customers. It would have been nice to simply have been contacted back rather than be ignored. Of course this is my personal experience and I understand that "life happens". Unfortunately it was her call that I never had a chance to actually work with her on purchasing a property. read more

Lily just sold my one-bedroom apartment in Forrest Hills. The experience was very smooth. I found her on Zillow. She had sold the most homes in Forest Hills area. From the beginning, she showed how knowledgeable she was of the area's real estate market, as well as the possible impact of overall economic climate of the nation. She also asked me: "For someone who has lived in this apartment for 20 years, what do you think are the good and bad things about this apartment?" Furthermore she showed irresponsibility. I trusted her with a set of keys and she or her coworkers left the door open on a number of occasions and left the terrace door open and when I went in it was like an icebox.. I'm so torn over this review. Lily seemed nice and responsive the moment I reached out to her last year. I was looking to buy a coop in Forest Hills and had high expectations because of her Yelp reviews. Lily and her assistant sort of disappeared after I told them what I was looking for. I did tell her the first time that I was disappointed. However, I gave them another try and the same thing happened. Judging from the other reviews, it looks like she mostly work with sellers. Perhaps she didn't want to work with a buyer with a median price budget. If that's the case I would appreciate it more had Lily and her team been straight forward upfront. It was a waste of time.
