The house was in very low quality move in condition with little to know cleaning done prior to new tenants. In the 2 years we rented with him we had 5 guys in the house (which was against the rules) and still had the rent increase. On several occasions he made claims of not receiving our rent checks even after cashing them! The contractors that were hired did not finish their jobs, and if they did the repair would only last for a couple months. Throughout renting our landlord would tell us how much he appreciated us and respected us only to turn to our parents and say the complete opposite, never addressing problems with us. Finally comes his fabricating of truth on the security deposit. Claims were made of us intentionally damaging property that had been either damaged or in very poor condition upon our move in. He has attempted to charge us more than our rent without evidence of damage and itemized quote from contractor. His intentions were to pay to repair his house with our money. If you are in the area and interested in renting with this company steer clear of Ed!

Elliot, the person who 'managed' the house I rented, lied month after month, from small things to big things, like it was running through his veins. It was extraordinary. At no point have they met the terms of my lease, a lease I drove across country for. When I got to the house after 7 days of driving? No screens and no woodstove. This is after I spent $2000 on wood. Rodent infestation, they never sent anyone. Bathtubs don't work, handle it on your own. More than two plumbers then refused to come, informing me that TPW Realty doesn't pay their bills. Ant infestation? Too bad for you. The burners on the stove don't work. They haven't been fixed. To boot? They included a 1500 small dog deposit on an uninsulated cabin that is falling down. The showers has holes! Why are they charging that when every other house, much nicer than theirs, charges at most 150 per animal? So that they can keep it and say there was 'damage'. I took videos of the house when I got here, just in case they were going to try to steal my deposit by saying I had done damage to the house. I did nothing but upgrade their house for them while paying full rent. After repeatedly telling me that I could renew the lease, I sunk 3k at least into the garden, 2k into custom shades, bottom deep freeze and a sofa to go with the house. I both called and texted Paul, the owner, several times without any response at all. Stay away. I am in the process of interviewing lawyers! I You will be too. Not sure how they've survived this long. I think because the homeowners don't realize what's happening. At all. UPDATE: Lawyer hired! Unbelievable. Most of vermont is amazing. but you do have pockets of crap like these people/company.

The agency refused to discus the matter further and AirBnB could nto help since the deposit was handled off-platform. The agency also confirmed in correspondence it was a maintenance issue.

Charges have appeared without proper explanation, and requests for supporting documentation or invoices have not been adequately addressed. This raises serious concerns about how they conduct business. Overall, the experience has felt unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating.
