I paid $130 for a basic pedicure and full set ($50 for the pedicure and $80 for the full set) I did not get anything crazy on my nails just black French tip in coffin shape. This is very expensive in my opinion and the shape was not sharp, she used clear acrylic instead of light pink so you can see right through my to my nail and all the calcium deposits also something pink was left under the nail so you can see that as well. The black from the French tip was also left on the top part of my nail and fingers. There was not enough coats of black as well so in the light it looks splotchy. My toes turned out good but not even 2 weeks after I got them done they are chipped as well as one of my finger nails. The lady doing my nails also kept telling me my toe nails were too short over and over again it was really weird. I certainly will not be going back. read more

I have frequented Lily Nails for years now. Primarily because I utilize their wax services and I feel like they're one of the few nail salons in the area that still waxes eyebrows the old school way! However, I can also trust Lily's for a basic nail service. Manicures and pedicures are their specialty I would say. I have done acrylic and dip too, which I've been pleased with but they are not the location to go to for some of the more elaborate nail art/designs and, that's okay. They know their lane. I got a dip manicure with extensions and they look so bad. I asked for a coffin shape and then she clipped the extensions too short (I knew they were going to be too short) and THEN asked again what shape I wanted. After I said coffin she said "oh well these are too short for that shape" and gave me a square shape instead. They look so lumpy and thick and have flecks of other colors in the color I chose because the top coat was so dirty. Going to another nail place to get these off immediately. read more

I had this place recommended by my Barber, Janis @ Pine Street Barber's, she said her staff's husband goes there to get his pedicure. I've come to learn, personal referrals go a long way when you are new in a city. Today's experience was great. I called ahead and made an appointment which I highly recommend as this place get's really busy. I went on a Friday morning and they were already running a wait. I had an 1130a appointment with Sandy. What a delightful lady and very professional. There was another guy there getting a pedicure and he was a regular so I immediately relaxed. You can get the base price for $25 which was good enough for me. Sandy was not rushed and had a great manner and seemed very professional. my mom and I have come here for years. the last year or so I have been going to a different salon but decided to come here on Friday with my mom. after this experience, even my mom isn't going back. first, there was a tech in there cleaning and filling supplies/bottles talking on her cell phone walking throughout the salon WITHOUT a face mask on. big no right now. when we first walked in, we were told to wash our hands and I was told to pick my dip color while my mom got her brows waxed then picked her color for her pedicure. they never let my mom see her brows after the waxing or even talked to her during it. she found out after she left they waxed off about 1/3 of one brow. they then took her to her pedicure chair without letting her pick her polish which they then scolded her for later and her water was cold. the tech was filing her nails so hard she made her bleed. the woman wasn't friendly and everyone acted irritated that our appointment was at 6:30 which is when they told us to come in on Thursday when I called but apparently they wanted us to come in earlier, unbeknownst to us. for my experience, I picked my dip color and showed her, she grabbed the jar and started my nails. she didn't do anything to my cuticles except take her finger and push them back (I now have hang nails forming from the skin being pushed into the skin instead of being trimmed). she said with tips and dip it was $50. I said okay that's what they said on the phone. a few minutes later she opened the jar and saw I had a shimmery color. she then said oh no you got a sparkle color that's $55 because we have to do extra stuff. I ALWAYS get shimmery dip and no other salon has ever charged me extra but at that point I just wanted it over with so I said okay. after she finished and put on the top coat, she had me turn away to let my nails dry so she could clean the table but didn't tell me how long to sit there. any time I'd move she'd yell at me not yet! do my nails look good? sure. however between the staff not wearing a mask and the horrible experience plus being overpriced, we won't be going back. it's sad because we've been going here since they opened years ago. Read mixed reviews about this place but I decided to give it a try and I regret doing so. I called on a Sunday and asked if I could make an appointed and they said they had plenty of availability that day. I scheduled an appointment for 5pm. I got there at 4:55 and I was not helped until 5:30 even though I had an appointment!! And then she rushed through my pedicure because they were trying to close. The pedicure book says you get an "herbal mineral bath" and I asked her what that was because they only put water in my tub and she just ignored my question. Took my 4 year old daughter to Lily's on a Tuesday evening at 5pm. We walked in and were greeted by a nail technician. She asked "How can we help you?" I responded "My daughter would like her fingernails and toenails painted." Another technician (whom I believe is the owner because I have been to this salon before) rudely responded, shouting from the back of the salon, "We are too busy!" At which time, I look around the almost empty salon and counted 4 technicians, 3 customers and NO ONE waiting to be seen. Ok, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - Maybe they were expecting an influx of people at any moment? Not sure - However, the more professional response should have been something to the effect of, "I am so sorry. We are very busy right now. Would you like to wait or would you like to come back another time?" Nope - we just got a flat "We are too busy!" The tone of her voice and lack of customer service did not sit well with me. I went to Lily's this week for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. To be honest, I have a go to spot for my nails, but its closer to my house, and I was staying on this side of town for an event that evening and wanted to fit a pedicure in between work and the event. I had no clue where in the area would be a good place to go, and Lily's was the only place that was suggested. I was a little nervous because there were mixed reviews on Yelp, but my friend had been recently (also based on a recommendation), and seemed to like it, so away I went. I will say, there were definite pros and cons, but the cons were not enough to deter me from going back if I were in need to a mani or pedi on this side of town again. I loved my nail tech, her name was Ann. She was very nice, and gave me a lot of information on the various options available for the pedicure. She was the perfect mix of friendly without being overly talkative, so I could enjoy some polite conversation with her but also read a book (I have two kids, any book time I can fit in, I take it!!). I also loved the massage chair. Some chairs are too docile while others are too rough, but this was perfect. It was comfortable and plush and with a good massage. I had one main con worth noting, and its something that may not bother all people, but the organization of the polish colors drove me nuts. If you are coming in for gel polish, you are golden. Everything is on the plastic nail things for you to look at, and they bring you the color I believe, but if you are not getting gel (which I don't typically do on my toes, because pedis can last a nuclear war in my opinion), you have to sort through the most disorganized wall display. The bottles are even set in two rows, so you have to pull out the front polish to see what is behind it. It might be nice to group them by shade or something, just to make it a little easier in locating your color. So again, I was overall impressed with this place and would go back. You get a savings card and will get $5 off with your 6th visit. If you live in or around the Willow Lawn area, check them out. read more

I immediately fell in love with the people and their service! My friend told me her favorites were Rose and Sandy and so, they're the only ones that have done my nails! Sandy is my regular, while my friend goes to Rose. Sandy is so sweet and really cares about the health of my nails. I had a period of time where my nails kept breaking and chipping and she made me take a little break from shellac to help them. She's always helping me pick my color and she's so helpful. The other workers are awesome, I've talked to most of them, I am just used to going to Sandy to catch up with her. So happy that I found this place! read more

Went for the first time for a pedicure ($24). No price board up with prices so you'll have to grab one of their printed pamphlets/price lists for additional prices ($34 for mani/pedi and pretty standard pricing on waxing, fill-ins, etc). Large selection of OPI nail colors as well as some other off brands in more non-traditional colors. There are 8 pedicure chairs- great during nail salon rushes (evenings/weekends). Hong was my technician; she was really sweet and efficient. Considering they were busy she was very detailed and didn't rush to finish my pedicure. The chairs are comfortable (intense electric massage though!) and the foot bowls are really unique colored bowls mosaic type bowls I haven't seen anywhere before. The shop was clean and the staff were all friendly and professional. I will definitely be back since I haven't found many other nail salons downtown that I have been pleased with. Pro-tip: like many other nail places, although they take debit/credit for service payment you have to leave tip in cash/check. I didn't have cash on me so I just had to make out the check in my tip amount to my tech. Sort of frustrating not being able to leave it on the slip but not specific to just this nail salon so make sure you have some cash on you. read more

Yes, I will admit it....I enjoy a pedicure now and then. Who doesn't???? I mean it's like a vacation for your feet. So I came here the Wednesday before a major holiday with an appointment time of 1:30pm. When I arrived at 1:25 PM, I was promptly seated in one of those big plush massaging chairs. It was there that I sat for the next 30 minutes waiting and waiting. A lady came over and turned the water on and told me to soak my feet. After about 20 minutes, the water became cold and I called over another lady to warm it up for me. After several apologies they finally got to my appointment time at 2:45PM. When I went to pay, the cashier says to the owner "we give discount for him waiting so long?" and the owner screams back "no, no, no" and "sorry for wait, sir" It was obnoxious and frankly, I should've just walked out. read more

2.5 stars. My 2nd ever pedicure, so I only had one previous experience for comparison. Coming into the salon, I was pretty impressed with their size and cleanliness. They had about 8 pedicure massage chairs. In picking out the colors, I was really frustrated because all the colors were just randomly placed on the shelf without any sort of organization, making it really hard to find what I wanted. My friend and I were quickly attended to and seated. The water was a bit lukewarm, but I never had an opportunity to ask for it to be made warmer, as the workers were chatting away with my Vietnamese speaking friend, paying little to no attention to me. The pedicure itself was done fairly well, but the lady working on me seemed a bit rushed and I even have a very shallow but long cut on my leg from something throughout the pedicure. The hot stones and lotions/exfoliants were a nice touch, but I wouldn't have minded the stones being hotter. Overall, I felt that she didn't spend as much time as my previous experience, and we were only there 1 hour before closing. Rude. Pushy. Money-hungry savages. Never going back. Went to get some two week old gel taken off. Should have been $10 according to their menu. The first lady is rushing to take off my gel and another girl's gel at the same time, so she barely lets my gel soak, aggressively scrapes at the gel, pulling a chunk of the gel and the surface of my actual nail off. It hurt like hell. I was like please, just let them soak longer. Another lady takes over, takes off my old gel, and asks if I want "cuticles" done. She literally put my nails in a bowl of water for ten seconds. Did the quickest, least thorough cuticle-cutting service I've ever had (took barely one minute per hand). Then she put lotion on my hands (which was scratchy because she left my nail file powdery bits and old gel bits all over my hands and the towel). I was like, "Thank you, how much?" "Twenty dollar." ".....What?" They claimed that my cuticle removal was considered a "manicure" for $14 and because I got the manicure, the "gel take-off" that is usually $10 would be just $6 with my "manicure". Wow, what a discount! Thanks, Lily Nails! I was like, "Absolutely not. I got my cuticles cut. That's not a manicure." She goes to the manager when I ask for a pricing sheet. The manager is like, "You got manicure. You pay for manicure." Their menu considers a $14 manicure to consist of: nail soak, cuticle removal, file, lotion, warm towel, and color application. Tell me how my ten second water bowl, two minute cuticle cut, and sloppy lotioning should cost $10 more. I ended up telling them if they're going to charge me for a manicure, they better give me a full manicure. Picked out a color. Application was sloppy. Could have done better myself at home. In retrospect, I should have just thrown a ten on the counter and dipped out, but whatever. I gave them their twenty and made it a point to tell the manager how rude she is. read more

And this is just me but sometimes they ask you a question in English and then they speak in their own language and look at you and laugh and you can't really know what they are saying. Came to this place when my regular place was full and I wanted a manicure on a whim. I wasn't impressed. The lady I got pushed gel nails like they were going out of style - one would think that after declining politely once, that would be the end of it, but she kept going on and on about it, no less than six times. It was obnoxious. I mean, of course she wants me to buy gel - it costs $11 more than a regular manicure - but that's not what I wanted, and she should have let it go after the first (or at least second) time I declined. She harassed me about the gels until she couldn't avoid putting on the actual polish anymore, and at that point she was just pouty and clearly put out. Now that's how you pamper yourself. I walked in I didn't even have to wait, even though I called and dancing at that time for people ahead of me but by the time I got there there was no one waiting. They sat me down and a nice massage chair that I didn't realize it was a massage chair initially but once I manipulated the buttons it was a well needed massage. It hit spots that I didn't even know were sore on my back but now I need to start researching besides two years for my house. They took a lot of care to make sure that they're hot towels weren't too hot and I haven't gotten a pedicure in a while but really liked how my feet felt and looked afterwards. On GAWD this place is mad expensive. No matter how long or short your nails are, there's an extra charge. I paid 41 dollars for a basic pedicure, with callus remover, and gel remover.... Gel itself is an extra 20. This is high when EVERYWHERE else around is 15 for gel and callus remover is included in the pedicure. My friend paid 30 dollars for a FILL-IN!.... This is my regular nail salon. I go every two weeks for a pedicure and a gel manicure. The price fluctuates right around $55 dollars for both depending on upgrades and hand painted designs. They also have a loyalty card that gets stamped one each visit and saves you $5 on your sixth visit. I have my go to girls who I love but everyone who works at Lily's is so sweet and they lovelovelove regulars. They all get excited when you do something a little out of the box and my nails always look adorable when I leave. I'm known for my bubblegum pink French manicure in the Summer but I love doing one nail on each hand in a different color or sparkles for Fall/ Winter. The salon is always super clean and I love that everything is consistent from visit to visit. I drag all my girlfriends here and they have all become regular customers too. Today I went with my sister and got Christmas nails (that my manicurist basically picked for me knowing what I like) and it is SO cute.
