In May-June 2025, I took my 2020 Silverado in for a tire rotation prior to a cross country trip from Ohio to California. I have had several previous appointments to change oil, fix a fan, etc. and was well satisfied with their service. While in California, I took my truck to a Firestone dealer I had service my vehicles when I lived there, to balance my tires because I felt a "thump, thump". They informed me that they were unable to find the lock key for my aftermarket rims to start the order, and we searched the truck everywhere and was unable to find them. Upon returning to Ohio, I took my truck back to Lima Auto Mall and explained that my lock key was missing. They were unable to find the lock key as well, even though I explained my truck was already searched by myself and the Firestone staff. I might mention that they inferred that I "overlooked" the location of my lock key, but they finally provided me with a similar key that would work. Having my oil changed in October, 2025, I was told that my aftermarket hub caps were noted to be damaged when they lifted my truck to change the oil. When I removed one center hub cap, I could see that the bottom of the outer hub cap was dented in. Firestone in California was unable to begin the tire balancing I asked for because they did not find the lock key. So when was this damage done? I say, when the tires were rotated, confirmed by the fact that they did not even return my lock key. I feel it was a "rush job" that was not completed with professionalism. I will be going to another Chevrolet dealer for my truck servicing and will need to buy my replacement aftermarket inner and outer hub caps. I took my car in to be looked at. $55 to look at and found nothing. I told them it didn't happen in cold temps. Went back in warmer temps to be told they couldn't do anything, but make an appointment to get it in. Took it in at 3pm, called around 4p and told the issue. Paid $314 for the repair. Problem not fixed. I called on to notify them of the issue and the service guy hung up on me. read more

*****DON'T DEAL WITH EMILY FULLER******* Drove around on the lot and my wife and I noticed a vehicle we liked and wanted to sit down and see if we could work out a deal on. I contacted them thru their website due to it being after hours and on a day they wasn't opened. I received a phone call on this morning on the vehicle from, Emily Fuller, I'm guessing she is with their internet sales department. I let her know we had a trade in that we would want to see how much they was willing to give us for. She instructed me to email her photos. So I emailed them at around 10 before 10 am. Didn't think it would take to long to hear back from her but I was wrong. At around 2:45pm I emailed her again to ask where we was in the process, and once again my email was ignored. Finally, I called her at about 15 after 4pm to ask what was going on. First, she didn't even remember speaking with me. Once she figured out who I was, she basically told me that she never opened my email, or sent it to the proper person for appraisal. Then she told me she was going to contact him, which is the same thing she told me first thing in the morning, but I still never heard back from her. Emily Fuller is someone who should not be doing what she is doing for a living. I wouldn't recommend dealing with her if she is the one who contacts you from the dealership. The $1500 quote to do part of the job LIMA Auto Mall quites cost $920. So then I decided to geek the rest done foot another $700. So for $1600 roughly, I got done what you quoted $2700 and then tried to strong arm me into getting. read more

I went to the Lima Auto Mall to diagnose a leak in my power brake system ( hydro boost) they told me my hydrobooster needed to be replaced, ($968.25 +tax). I had a Professor at a nearby Technical College look at my truck and he told me the hydro booster was in perfect working order. This was my first (and last) experience with them, my advise? Their business practices are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! Our intent was genuine enough that we allowed the dealership to run our credit (we applied online), our credit was approved right away, and before we could get to the dealership, they sold the car to someone else without even telling us anyone else was looking at it. They may be a large dealership and offer decent prices but somethings, like "people", are just more important. In the past I bought from this dealer, not bad service. Here lately not so much. I looked at a 2013 Camaro almost a year ago and was offered it, out the door for less than 41,000. I waited for quite a while, then seen it was still sitting there on the lot. I inquired about it once again, the exact same car. This time they wanted more than 45,000 out the door. I could buy the 2014 for that! I had the same guy that wrote both estimates and I reminded him of the previous deal on the 2013. They wouldn't even honor the previous deal. Sounds like they really don't care about repeat customers. I think I will deal with Delphos who at least still have that small town personal connection to their customers. Also a few years ago I self diagnosed a faulty electronic body control unit but wanted to make sure of the part number before I removed it. They refused to give it to me because they said they were worried that I would go online and buy it. I called Delphos, they gave it to me, I then ordered it from Delphos.
