We had an absolutely wonderful time at Limani at Fifty! The service was outstanding: special thanks to Vanessa and Kathy for making our first visit so memorable. The food was delicious, the view was superb, and everything about the afternoon exceeded our expectations. We had the best calamari ever! Saganaki, dip sampler, pork & chicken souvlaki dinners, pizza, limani burger, shrimp souvlaki dinner & spanakopita dinner! We were sooo full!! We brought our family visiting from Newfoundland, and it was the perfect spot to share together. Definitely worth the drive from Toronto and it certainly won't be our last visit! Very poor service. We went to Limani on July 4th and was sat down with our menus. But a half hour later, still no waitress and not even a glass of water. Yet people who arrived after us had water and drinks. After seeing a second table served before ours who had arrived after us, we decided to leave. This was our first and last visit to the restaurant Fortunately Turtle Jacks was close by and had us seated with menus and drinks within 5 minutes of arriving. read more

Food was okay but the chicken was very dry. We were half way through our appetizer when they brought the entree. The service was not very good either. Scenery was excellent! I would go again and just have a drink there. read more

avoid this place!!! absolutely discussing!!! the restaurant inside was a sauna because there was no air conditioner and owner was rude and did not care even after the host addressed it. the poor guests for this special event 50 years anniversary were so hot and sweaty that they had to leave due to health issues. all in all the event was a disaster!!! shame on them!! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVERCHARGED AND TREATED LIKE DIRT BY THE MANAGER! Despite my family's excitement to celebrate grandma's birthday, the experience was extremely disappointing due to the treatment we received and the blatant attempts to overcharge us. The food was okay, but the service was subpar and slow. The real issue was the bill and how staff handled their mistake of trying to overcharge us. First, we had to request the waitress correct our bill FOUR TIMES on different items she tried to overcharge us (Waitress was argumentative until we pointed out on the menu the price they advertise and/ or included items)! After the 4th wrong bill where we were being overcharged for various or extra items, we asked for the manager. The lady manager was defensive, rude and unprofessional from the moment she came out. Instead of listening to our frustration and concerns about her staff trying to overcharge customers, she made excuses and suddenly told us to leave her restaurant after we paid the bill! wow!Unacceptable. This place ruined our grandma's birthday and treated us like dirt. As paying customers, I might overlook mediocre service, but I would NEVER accept staff (especially the manager) being so rude, dismissive, and disrespectful to customers, especially when we're just trying to bring issue to their attention and pay the correct bill we owe. Would NEVER go back to support this place that excuses thieves! Plus, I wonder how many customers they've overcharged and ripped off so far and the manager doesn't care about it?! read more

When we were seated. It took 30mins and for us to wave down a waiter for someone to take our order or even give us water. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were just busy. But when the tables around us got new people seated and served immediately, we got worried. Turns out they didnt assign us a waiter, altho two people ran to seat us and gave is menus as we arrived. ALSO at the gate to get into the park, if you tell them youre eating here, they let you in for free. The view was nice, the food was yummy. The waitresses apologized. It was okay but the beginning experience made me hangry and left a sour taste in my mouth. TLDR; i had an ok experience, food was yum and view was beautiful. read more

Greek food here is awesome I had the chicken suvlaki greek salad excelent real feta not the Canadian crap fresh tomatoes the rice and potatoes so tasty. Grilled calimari melt in your mouth great views of the marina. The best Greek I have had in the GTA try it ! read more

The restaurant has a really relaxing feel in an amazing setting. The food is fantastic with large portions and good advice from a knowledgeable host for whom nothing is too much trouble. And you get your park entry back if you paid for car and driver too!! Win, win. Recommended. read more

We came here for food this afternoon when making a trip to the (beautiful) beach! The food was very good, and the atmosphere being around the marina makes for a great viewing experience while you eat. We had the chicken souvlaki and wings, the portion size was good and the flavours were solid. We'd definitely come back, but we learned the hard way that you need to specify at the front gate if you want to apply the gate fee to the restaurant, which is very deceptive because there is signage at both the gate and restaurant indicating that you can apply $15 of the gate fee towards the meal. If this is not something standard, they should stop advertising it as if it was. read more

Terrible experience. Had reservation at 8 and couldn't get in until 830pm. Had to wait until 930 to get a drink! later on meals Came out sporadically and some food didn't even come out. Manager unapologetic and aggressive and staff inattentive. read more

Stayed overnight at Fifty Point Yacht Club. Limani is the restaurant right in the clubhouse. Apparently. this USED to be called "The Landing Restaurant", but it has been taken over by the original owners and totally redone. Limani is NOT the same place as listed in Google etc. as "The Landing Restaurant and Banquet". Anyway, the food and drink was spectacular. I had a Mojito, and it was a real Mojito - crushed mint and all. Better than the ones in Cuba. I ordered the Grilled Calimari appie, and my wife ordered the Fried Calimari appie. Generous meal-sized helpings for $17. Glad we didn't order the full meal! Our friend did ($24) and it was monstrously large - like a heaping half-watermelon large! With rice, potatoes, pita bread, tzatziki and greek salad. He ate about half. The appies were fantastic. I'm a bit of a squid nut. If squid is on the menu, I'll order it. I'm trying to find the best squid places in the province. They were fresh, not frozen, and lightly cooked (most places have no idea how to cook calimari, which is why so many peoples' experience is that of rubber bands). For dessert, the owner brought us something "Golden-" whose full name I did not catch. It was fried pita sticks with a dollop of ice cream (it looks just like french fries, but yummy sweet!) The next time we make a trip - by car or boat - to the Niagara Peninsula, we will absolutely be stopping in the Limani for another fantastic meal! read more

We were staying at the campground so this was an easy walk. There were few diners and plenty of waitstaff. We had to keep getting up to ask for service. The waitstaff seemed to be paying more attention to the outdoor tables. The food servings were large but the food was nothing special. Pretty disappointing overall. read more

It was purely accidental for finding this place in Stoney Creek (50 Point) and discovering this gem of a restaurant within a conservation area park and marina. The view of the marina and water are very tranquil and offers a relaxing dining experience. Love the outdoor space with the wrap around deck that can hold at least 300 or more people. What makes this place is the heart and soul of Maria, George and staff. They are down to earth people who put much love into their food and restaurant and they treat you like family. The food is truly authentic with grilled calamari or even fried which is lightly dusted are terrific. I have never been a fan of fried calamari and Maria recommended it and it was the best I have ever had and have ordered with each visit. We came back again this year and they added lamb to the menu. I also recommend trying the lamb and order up a full plate of grilled lamb for you and friends., thx George another fabulous dish that knocked my gastronomic socks off with the squeeze of lemon WOW!!! You also need to try their thin crusted pizzas... they melt into your mouth. The friendly atmosphere makes easy encounters and you leave this place as family. They always make us feel so welcomed and this is our new hangout and love bringing our friends who react the same way! PS don't forget to try the Golden Greek Dessert, this is a must and my fav! read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and sitting on the patio overlooking the water. The food wasn't the best Greek food I've had but it was still good. I love gyro at Greek restaurant but they do not offer this on the menu. One thing I was really displeased about was the waitress we had. I have a gluten allergy and when we were ordering she suggested I substitute the item I couldn't have for Greek fries and I agreed. When I received my bill she charged me 6 bucks extra for these fries.. I asked her about it saying that she made it sound like this was a substitution and she said no and wouldn't do anything about it. I realize it's only 6 dollars but I would like to know what I'm paying for and don't enjoy getting penalized for having an allergy. Also she didn't package up my tzatziki with my food so to add to the situation, I was really unhappy with my server. The tzatziki is the best part!! To me, service is everything that sets apart a good restaurant from a fantastic one. read more
