We had a great recent stay here. The service is outstanding five stars all the way. From the shuttle that picks you up from the airport and delivers you straight to the hotel to the front desk check in to the free breakfast and amazing service. We loved it. Ideally located steps from the elk gondola. There's a full on soccer field out the front door and plenty of food options. The in-house restaurant has an outstanding happy hour and some of the best pizza in town. We really enjoyed our stay here, kudos to the management and staff for making our stay memorable!

While I didn't stay here at Snowmass, I got dinner there twice during my trip. The Lounge is a great casual spot and good for all ages, whether you're dining with children or going for a few drinks. The staff is friendly and service is quick. The food is absolutely delicious. There are many different options and can accommodate different diets. Better yet, the food is decently priced, which is more challenging to find in Aspen.

Great Hotel! We stayed 2 nights in August.. it wasn't crowed at all because of Covid. The room are very nice and clean! The beds and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is great! They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and towels. Our room had microwave and a very cool orange fridge. Breakfast was included in our stayed and it was good with a variety of food. Everyone provided excellent service, were kind and nice. Gondola is very short distance, great restaurants, shopping, etc. Downtown Aspen is within 10-15 min. Not walking distance. The hotel parking garage is very secure and convenient. I will recommend staying here! For skiing or snowboarding March will be the perfect time. Not too crowded.

We wanted to stay in Aspen for our wedding, but since we did quick planning, there wasn't a lot of availability by the time we were looked, but luckily the Limelight had some open rooms! When you first get there and park, there's a private garage that you get buzzed into. Parking had an additional price, which I didn't know and honestly was not super happy about (just build it into the price!), but it's directly near the elevator. It was a bit more annoying when we were coming back from wedding dinner, because all the spots were full. I had to go to the front desk, and a staff member met us on another level to park the car in overflow. So we had to pay for it and then there wasn't even enough without going to another place. In the grand scheme of things, this was a small annoyance but still. The lobby is very modern looking and they had live music during happy hour in the bar area. The room was very nice - we had one with a fireplace. It was spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. We had mentioned that we just got married, and the hotel provided a bottle of champagne for us! That was nice! There were robes in the room to use for going to the hot tub, which was also quite nice. It was a huge pool, so ever though there were other couples, it didn't seem crowded at all. Overall, our stay was very nice and comfortable!

This hotel is amazing! Our room was large and clean. They are pet friendly, which is what we needed. They have their own parking garage for guests, you have to have a code to get into, which is nice for security. From parking to the elevator to our room was super easy access. The lobby has a big dining area with a beautiful fireplace. The breakfast was very good, not the typical make your own waffle or grab a yogurt like a lot of hotels. We visited in last Sept/early Oct and it was not at full capacity which was nice. We're told that winter and summer are their busy seasons. On our trip to Colorado we hit Estes Park, Aspen/Snowmass, Crested Butte, and Ouray. This was my favorite place to stay of all them. I would absolutely recommend it!!!

I had the most Amazing stay here. We spent a few days in snowmass in an air bnb and when we decided to extend our trip this place was a brainer. The easiest access to the mountains for skiing & all of the great restaurants. We enjoyed some time in their outdoor jacuzzi and had breakfast in their lounge every morning. I would stay here again for sure.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Limelight Snowmass and it's going to be our first choice again on our next visit to Snowmass. We have enjoyed staying at their Aspen location in the past but wanted to mix it up after hearing how our friends had a great stay here during ski season. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have good internet, a refrigerator along with a microwave. Location can't be beat in Snowmass which is another draw to it. Because of the social distancing, I didn't see or look too much at what they did for the lobby and common areas while going in/out but I know from staying at their Aspen location, part of the brand is to make a really inviting and active lobby area with music and drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful so all in all, it's been a perfect stay.

    Nice table for family

Loved loved the Limelight Hotel! We usually goes to the one in Aspen for apres ski and live music, but this new location is absolutely beautiful! Loved the lobby it's so beautiful and plenty of tables and space for everyone. Our 12 year old loved the games area, he met few new friends within short period of time. The staffs were so nice. The only negative about this place that the food was okay ( food needs to improve the flavors) but the pizza were still good. I had black muscles and it was tasteless, the bread was old. We liked the free ice skating although the shoes weren't so comfortable but the two guys whose helping with the shoes were the nicest people, Scott and Brad. Thank you limelight, you made our holiday more special. See you soon!

Started out poorly and didn't really improve…read more Tried several times up to 6 months in advance to get in touch with the concierge via the web site and email with no response. At one point I got an email from the concierge with a request to submit credit card information for restaurant bookings, so I thought someone was responding. Unfortunately, it appears to have been an automated email because they didn't respond to any of my replies. When we arrived, check-in was fine. Not much snow this season to that point, so the ski-in/ski-out run and lift were not functioning. Can't blame the hotel for that, but other hotels like the Viewline, Limelight, and other condos are on the main resort area and clearly have higher priority for getting ski-in/ski-out functioning. This hotel is on a smaller side hill that probably just says "tough luck" whenever that lift isn't functioning due to weather or under staffing. We got to our room (family of 4) and there were 2 bath towels and 2 sets of the other amenities. That's ok, just call to have some delivered. Well we called, left the room for an hour, came back, nothing. Called again, waited about 45 minutes, nothing. Called again before dinner, came back from dinner, nothing. We had to get ready for bed so we just went to the pool to get towels ourselves. We did finally call again and someone delivered the requested towels and a couple of dental kits. But over our stay, about half the time we only got 2 towels from housekeeping. "Game room" is a limited conference room with a bunch of partial board games with missing pieces, Jenga, and a ping pong table. At least have some cards or some complete board games. Other hotels have video game systems, movies, etc. Toro was pretty good for dinner. Breakfast was mostly disappointing. Soggy bacon, dry pancakes, random assortment of pastries., stuff like that. Went to the jacuzzi a few times. Ordered drinks once, and it took over half an hour to get our drinks (basic cocktails). Didn't arrive until we were ready to leave. We were told they had to go to some other floor to make the drinks. Still not sure why that means a 30 minute wait. There were only 10 people around the pool area. One day we were waiting for a shuttle that was supposed to arrive in 5 minutes. Called again 20 minutes later. Was told that "the driver is right outside the restaurant, don't you see him?" I said no, we're right outside the restaurant. Guy then says "oh actually he's almost there." On the day of checkout, I stopped by the bell desk and asked them to grab our bags for an airport shuttle in 2.5 hours. I went back 2 hours later and didn't see our bags. Guy says "oh we just put them in another room on the side, it's probably there." Wasn't particularly convincing so I went back to our room to check. All our bags were still there. Carried a few bags myself, past a bunch of guys watching me carry bags and trying to open the door to the hotel myself. If I (as a guest) saw someone carrying a bunch of bags trying to open the door, I'd help. They didn't. This was our first and will be our only stay at a Viceroy. Snowmass is great for the family, we'll be staying at another hotel next time.

Travel doesn't always go perfectly, and we did encounter a couple small issues during our stay. However, what really stood out was how the management team handled everything. Their kindness, generosity, and sincere desire to create a great guest experience turned what could have been minor frustrations into a memorable and positive stay. They helped make our birthday celebrations extra special and consistently showed professionalism and warmth throughout our visit. Don't get me wrong, the resort is gorgeous and my room was huge and my view was of the Village. I have ZERO complaints about the room. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion in glass bottles by Grown Alchemist and the scents are so amazing! However, the resort is desperately understaffed and it's clear that management doesn't care because as a supervisor, one should write the schedule to not have your team members stress and have to fend for themselves when trying to resolve guests' difficulties. A group of my coworkers and I stayed for 1 night, for which we ALL were double charged resort fees for the same night. The resort fee is charged as 1 lump sum of $50 twice, but the reversal is 5 different line items and for others in my group, various line items were forgotten. When we checked out in the morning at 630a, there was only 1 employee working the front desk who was busy with a whole air crew, while also running to grab keys for valeted vehicles, and dealing with our bill issues. I felt so bad for that employee because he was overwhelmed and that is clearly a management issue. For those who valeted (I self-parked), they were never told what time valet would arrive in the morning, but they were not there when we were checking out and my coworkers had to go find their valeted vehicles in far away parking lots. I am severely disappointed with our experience especially for it being part of the Autograph Collection.

There is a condo ski services center right by the slopes where you can leave your boots/shoes should you prefer not to walk in your ski boots at all. Skis can be left on racks there too and will be stored indoors at night (there is also storage right outside each condo). The condos are ok, although being privately owned decor and furniture will be different. Most are designed for families - big master bedroom for the parents and small twin rooms for kids although there are rooms with two double beds (some in lofts with ladders). So if you care about bed size you'd want to make sure you get the right condo. Kitchen is well equipped. Gas fireplace is great and so is the gas grill out on the balcony. Three hot tubs - two near the reception and one next to ski services by the slopes - they open at 2pm and not too crowded between 3-4 pm. There is also an outdoor heated pool but not large enough to really swim in.
