We love this restaurant tucked away in the barrio alto. It was such a fun part of town with great bars nearby. The restaurant was charming with its white and green leather chairs and the service was marvelous. We split a pizza and an entrée as well as had the sangria both of our meals were fabulous and they were even nice enough since they knew that we were sharing to split both of the meals into. I highly recommend Limoncello.

Was looking on Yelp for dinner suggestions and Limoncello appeared. Decided to try it out and enjoyed every bite. Great service and great food.

Excellent dining experience! Wonderful staff, delicious food and great Lemoncello. Add this restaurant to your list to dine. Great location!

4.5 stars here. My wife was really craving Bolognese, preferably within walking distance, so we decided on Limoncello. Interestingly they have red and white sangria so we tried one of each having never tried the white before. Basically, the same fruit just in a white vs red wine. Very tasty. Be aware that the plate of bread/butter/olives they bring is not free. You eat it and they will charge you. If you don't want it, ask them to remove it. Salads to start-a simple mixed salad for her and a unique combination of fresh mozzarella and sweet sliced mango for myself. Drizzled with a light balsamic vinaigrette. Loved this dish. The Bolognese was spot on for my wife and I chose an entrée of black squid ink pasta, plump fresh prawns, and garlic. Another delicious dish. Our meal ended with a comic twist-the mousse mouse dessert. Scoops of chocolate mousse shaped like mice! Ridiculously cute. Highly recommended.

Food was satisfying but average. Wouldn't necessarily return or recommend to a friend but was decent.

Forno D'Oro is one of those places where the moment you sit down, you forget you are in Lisbon and…read morefeel like you are somewhere in Italy. The room is bright, lively, and full of energy, with an open kitchen and wood fired oven that immediately sets the tone. The pizza is exactly what you hope for. Light, airy crust with just the right amount of char, simple ingredients, and perfect balance. Every bite tastes intentional and well executed, the kind of pizza that does not need anything extra to impress. The pasta is just as strong. Rich, comforting, and full of flavor, it feels like something you would be served at a neighborhood spot in Italy rather than an Italian restaurant abroad. Nothing feels overdone or adapted for tourists. It tastes authentic and confident. The atmosphere adds to the experience. It is busy without feeling chaotic, polished without feeling formal. You can tell people come here to eat well and enjoy themselves, not to rush through a meal. Forno D'Oro delivers exactly what it promises. Exceptional Italian food, a warm and energetic space, and a dining experience that genuinely makes you feel transported. If you are craving true Italian pizza and pasta in Lisbon, this is an easy yes.
