My garage door puller was grinding when I open the door. The door pully on the right side lost tension, cable unwounded off the pulley, two rollers jumped the track. The door looks so bad because it was unlevel and I had to push the door up to get my truck out. My car was parked in the driveway. This was Thursday night at 6:00pm. I researched online the service companies near Chamblee. I choose, Liberty garage services, scheduled an appointment for 9:30am Friday. The tech arrived at 9:15am. He explained what will need to be done and gave me a good estimate. He fixed, adjusted and leveled door in 1 hr. Very professional. He did a great job and greased the cable also. The work is guaranteed. I highly recommend this company for garage repairs. Great website.

It was my understanding the appt was for 8am. I told him not to ring the doorbell as I may be asleep. He told me to find someone else because I was being to hard to work with but only after confirming the appt was for 8am! Now who's being hard to work with? He's not the only one out there with the equipment to do the jobs I have. I already have 2 quotes for lawn maintenance and 2 quotes from professionals for the major clean up of my back acre. I made a note of his company's name and then managed to lose it. Fast forward to the present, when my wife and I decided we finally needed to repair or replace our beautiful berber carpet that had just gotten too worn and stained. I started to look for the man, reading websites for signs of the same knowledge and commitment. I found a website that sounded like him and it turned out to be the right man, Michael Dempsey of Expert Carpet and Floor Repairs of Covington, Dawsonville and Norcross. He repairs and installs carpets with his two sons, and they are just the finest people you can imagine. He advised me not to replace the berber with the same type, because another "closed-loop" type was much more tear and stain resistant. I've used Home Depot and a couple of other larger outfits in the past, and comparing Mr. Dempsey's estimate to a similar grade from Home Depot, his quoted price was about $500 more. I accepted his offer because he again impressed me with his commitment to provide the best service and installation experience possible. With Home Depot installers, you're never quite sure what you'll get, and this was a big job in our home, so I wanted it done right. Mr. Dempsey and his sons did a fantastic job. They were very meticulous in cleaning the slab even before laying the padding. I've never seen another installer do that, but Mr. Dempsey explained why it matters. They also were just wonderful about moving the big furniture and doing so with the utmost care. My wife has an office with a huge wooden desk. I assembled myself in place and wasn't sure we could get it out without taking it apart again. Mr. Dempsey's sons handled it easily and without the slightest scratch. I'm always glad to give 5 stars when it's deserved. The job Mr. Dempsey and his sons did deserves 10 stars on the scale of 5.
