The reviews were very believable and sincere, so I immediately reached out to he company at 2 AM. Surprisingly, I didn't get an answering machine, I got a live person that was attentive and very professional. I got Calvin and I was sold. We made the appointment for the same day and lets just say that he has "earned" a lifelong customer. In fact, this review is the pre-cursor to the verbal and written notice of severance of service that I am going to give to my (soon to be previous) pest control company. Now, let me tell you about my service experience. At the appointed time, Calvin and his crew arrived and they are a handsome bunch so I now had excellent service and eye candy to add to the collection of professional experiences. Moving on, Calvin's team blew and inspected my garage so it was sparkling clean AND treated for pests. They used sustainable bug repellent outside my home, which smelled really good in the autumn wind. Ok, so if the presentation, professionalism wasn't enough... Lets move on to the educational experience and what exactly cemented my understanding that I can never have another exterminator take care of my place. Calvin illuminated areas that existed that I was not aware of. He pulled out my stove, my refrigerator, and shined the cool light that he had light attached to his forehead so that I could see what was really going on behind my appliances. He cleaned and sealed the holes and this was more than any other exterminator had ever done. When he wrote the bill up (which I was glad to pay), he educated me on exactly they types of chemicals used and the amounts of concentrations of the active ingredients. We had been having problems with our air conditioner the last 2 year. The time frame for Mr. Thomas Jackson to arrive at my house between 5-7. At 5:45, I sent him pictures of my coil and informed him that my coil was frozen. He explained to me to go to the store to get a blow dryer so he could melt the ice off of the coil. At 6:13, I texted him and told him that I was back. 6:44 he said that he was waiting for the rain to stop. At this time he was at QuickTrip. I explained to him that it was not raining at my house, which was about 7 minutes away. 7:22, I called him and told him not to forget about me. He stated that he was completing some paperwork and that he would be coming. He arrived at 7:40 to begin the service. While I was in the bed, my son assisted him with turning on and off the thermostat. At 8:54, called me and asked me if I was coming out of my room so he could explain the diagnosis. I went into the guest room where he was standing on the attic steps and I noticed that there were mud stains on my floors. I asked him why he did not cover his shoes when walking in and out of my house. He said that he didn't know. I explained to him that it was common courtesy being that it had rained. He then proceeded down my expensive stairs that I recently had installed and I noticed that there was dirt and mud on my steps. I was very upset about that. He did not apologize and he said that he was to collect $100 from me. I told him that I wasn't going to pay him anything, due to the condition of my stairs. He rudely said thanks for wasting my time and I'm not turning in a diagnosis. I then told him that it took him forever to get here.
