My doctor's office sent the referral for a CPAP machine to Lincare. I had preferred a different provider because I knew I would need support for using the machine. Lincare assured me that they had good support. NOT true. The lovely woman who gave me the machine did not return phone calls. Even getting a message to her was very difficult. Even though she gave me her extension number and email, it turns out that those are only for internal use within the company. Messages were sent to her by the operator via email. I don't know how this company is still in business. I've been trying to deal with them for 3 weeks now, and I've still only spoken with their answering service. The service "sends the message" to the office, says someone will call me back, and then nothing. They say they're super busy, and during this time I understand that, but I also understand if you're too busy to handle customer calls then you better be hiring more people. I have made around 10 phone calls in the last 3 weeks, and haven't heard from anyone. Call center people are super friendly, and I did deal with delivery driver Juan, who was also super great. Not a good experience at all. My dad was traveling across country and needed oxygen. He set up over a month in advance to have supplies delivered to my home for when he got here. The day before I checked in with Lincare and they had no record of his order - their response was that the employee who was helping him quit. They then wanted me to drive over 2 hours to go pick up the equipment based off of their mistake. Miraculously they had a vendor in town and the equipment we needed was delivered hours before my dad arrived. When it was time to pick up their equipment they never showed and I repeatedly called with no action. Every time I call they have no record of my dad, yet we have their supplies. The doctor prescribed a new one which Lincare said they would honor. It has literally been eight months and they still have not given my dad his medical equipment. Do not use this company! It's service is terrible. If I did my job like they conduct business I would be fired! My husband's doctor put in to have a walker and a wheelchair delivered to our house that same day of his office visit. They never contacted us. I waited at home for days waiting on the delivery. No response from Lin Care until I complained to the orthopedic nurse trying to find out what was going on. It's been a week since my husband's accident, and they called to tell me I could have walker, but no wheelchair till he tried the walker. I told them to cancel, because in that week I was able to borrow a seated walker, and I found a suitable wheelchair at Walmart. DO NOT USE Them! read more

Mr. Ortiz arrives to his appointments on time. He is very thorough and completed the maintenance service of my oxygen concentrator machine in a thorough and professional manner. Mr. Ortiz provided me with the appropriate supplies for my concentrator as well, and also took time to complete short tutorial on concentrator machine as "refresher" for caregiving staff. They ultimately did fix the problems, but I had to find a manager who actually got things done and keep hounding them to contact her to fix. Unfortunately, I have lost my notes and do not recall her name. Once the problems were straightened out, things have been fairly smooth, but I'm still bitter about the hours and hours I spent on the phone trying to fix what should have been very simple problems and I still consider the experience a net negative. If I didn't have to mess with the whole process of getting another referral from the doctor, sending records, etc. etc., I would have moved us both over to Apria. I didn't anticipate them to be a whole lot better, but when my father's doctor sent him there, I saw that everything was so much smoother and getting him set up with them was pretty easy. This is the first negative review I've ever written on Yelp. The first. I cannot stress that enough. This company needs a major overhaul with regards to their customer service/scheduling. Calling them incompetent would be a huge compliment. We called a month in advance to make the arrangement for my father's 8 day visit from Tuesday 10/09-17/18. The order was for 1 concentrator with a 50' hose. I called 2 weeks before our scheduled delivery to verify all was correct as my father told me that he had lots of trouble with this company on prior occasions. Each call I gave my dads name, his birthdate, my name, our full address including our requested delivery/pick up dates for the equipment. According to their customer service reps we were all set for delivery on Friday 10/05/18 and a pickup on Wednesday afternoon 10/17/18. I assured my father that all was well. I called Friday (our delivery day) afternoon to advise them that nobody had showed up yet. Customer service stated that she would leave a message for the driver and that they would call me. No call followed. I called Monday (10/08/18) morning 8:30am to be advised that the driver(s) would be going over their schedules until 9:30am. They were to call me back. Again no call. I waited until 10am before I called them back. On that call I was advised that they only deliver to my area on Fridays and that we should have made earlier arrangements. I kid you not! I explained everything including that my father would be here (tomorrow) Tuesday 10/09/I8. I told her we scheduled a delivery on the correct day for which they never showed. I also reminded her that we had also confirmed a couple of weeks prior. The representative explained to me that their delivery date to my area is in fact on Fridays as if to say that we were not going to receive the equipment. I was shocked to say the least. Her attitude was appalling. She begrudgingly took my information. The rep advised me that I'd be getting a call back. I waited for a couple of hours. No call. I called back. I was forced to tell them yet again of our harrowing efforts to get 2 items delivered. Since my father cannot live with out these items, I stressed the importance of us making all arrangements in advance, etc.. I was assured that I would be getting a call back. Keep in mind that this is the day before my father is due to fly in for his visit. No one called. I called again. I requested a manager who shockingly wasn't available but would call me back. I advised the rep of my fathers impending arrival within a day. I did get a call back (not by a manager) only to be told that they deliver to my area on Fridays. REALLY?!!! I then insisted on speaking with a manager. Once she got on the line I had to start at the beginning because she had zero information on our situation which was caused by their failure to execute a simple delivery to Temecula. Needless to say that by this time my frustration had risen to new heights. She was extremely indifferent. So much so that I actually asked her if Lincare was expecting MY FATHER TO HOLD HIS BREATH FOR THREE DAYS UNTIL THEY'D BE IN OUR AREA AGAIN FOR DELIVERIES. I was put on hold. She came back on the line to confirm that we were added to the schedule for tomorrow Tuesday, October 9th which was the day I would be picking up my dad from the airport. I had to scramble to get someone to be at my home to accept the order. I was told that he was on time, kind & friendly. Kudos to him. Unfortunately, the next day Wednesday 10/10/18, I got a call from the delivery department to confirm a pick up for Friday 10/12/18. Seriously? My father just arrived the day before. We had only had the equipment for one day. I advised the delivery department of the error and he said that they had made a mistake. He apologized. Then he confirmed a pick up date for WEDNESDAY, 10/17/18 in the afternoon. Yep, it's the very day that I was told over and over and over is NOT THEIR DAY FOR MY AREA. Today is Thursday, 10/18/18. The concentrator is still here. No surprise. So, I called them to confirm that we are scheduled for a pick up. She advised me that they are only in my area on Fridays and as you've probably guessed it... Someone will be calling me back. YIKES!!! read more

Before I start my review, I want to say that the drivers up drop off and pick up equipment were wonderful; my complaint does not include them at all. I was prescribed oxygen by my pulmonolgist after a test indicated a drop in oxygenation when walking. Sometime, I was able to discontinue two medications and discovered that the problem had disappeared, as it was a result of side effects. This was verified by a follow-up appointment with my pulmonolgist who retested me to verify that the oxygen was not needed. I called Lincare and asked them to pick up their equipment; Jaylene said they can't do that unless they get the request to discontinue from the doctor. I told her that the doctor said I no longer needed it, to which she replied in a snarky fashion, "Oh, because you called and told him you didn't want it anymore?" I told that I had gone back to him and had a test redone. She then checked her own notes and discovered that my pulmonologist had indeed said that oxygen was not needed for me and verified that with me on the phone. Yet when someone came to pick up the equipment, I had to sign a form that included the sentence "I realize that this is against medical advice and I take full responsibility for my actions and release LINCARE from all liability that may result from my actions." While I understand their wanting release from liability, it was not against medical advice! They must have another form that doesn't word it in such a way that I am refusing treatment AMA! I told the driver that I cannot sign it that way because it is not true, so I crossed off that part and printed in big letters underneath the paragraph: NOT AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE!" Absolutely abhorrent customer service. Olivia Diaz claims she runs the Redlands facility and no one is above her, we found out that is a lie, she does NOT run that location. That person is the most unethical, unprofessional, RUDE representative of the Lincare Company. Corporate should be embarrassed to have a person like that representing their company. We've been trying to get the Portable Concentrator that my husband's physician ordered for him for weeks now and she has blatantly refused to send it out to us. We have spoken several times with the Doctor, with our Insurance Company and the unit is absolutely medically necessary and the insurance has informed us it is 100% covered. Yet this Olivia Diaz still refuses to send us out the unit!!! She thinks she's GOD and is playing games with my husband's life. I will probably need to seek legal advice as she is causing SEVERE undue distress with pure evil and malicious intent!!! How a company allows these types of people to represent them is unbelievable, she should be FIRED!!! She is a Disgusting representation of Lincare. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or be of any help, DO HER JOB, she told us to go to another company. That was her suggestion for resolution, GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY, because she doesn't want to work and do what she's paid to do, pathetic human being. From the reviews I've seen it seems like the Redlands facility across the board is horrible and have no customer service whatsoever. Customer service there is deplorable. My Mom had a hip replacement and upon being sent home was ordered a wheelchair and oxygen. The oxygen was delivered and upon it being delivered found out the wheelchair had not been approved due to a paper work mix up from another company that she had returned a wheelchair to but had not recorded it so Medi-Care would not approve until this was straightened out. Now comes into the picture of Jaylene. I don't know how in the world she got her job but folks I'm assuring you that even a fifth grader has more common sense and customer service skills than her. Two weeks after Mom getting home we are STILL trying to get the wheelchair (luckily the care giving company that Mom is receiving her care from at home had an extra one to use). Jaylene has had no communication skills where either myself or a third party helping in this case is given an update of what's happening. Basically I don't think she can wipe her own ass. read more
