    On February 10, 2026 I went with my father-in-law to Specialty Medical to purchase an electric…read morewheelchair. I was the one communicating with the owner, Doug, during the visit and he even texted me the receipt directly while I was standing there in the store. Within a day or two, around February 12th, we decided to cancel the order. From that point forward we spent weeks calling and trying to get a refund. On March 12th I texted Doug again regarding the refund. Screenshots of that conversation are included with this review. In those messages he discussed giving a partial refund and repeatedly asked that we remove the review. On Friday March 13th I personally went back to the store and picked up cash from Doug in the amount of $2,355. Even then the full amount was not refunded despite the order being cancelled almost immediately after the purchase. After I posted my original review about the experience, Doug began calling and texting me asking that I delete it. I have included screenshots of those communications so people can see exactly what was said. Doug also replied publicly to my previous review claiming that I was not a customer of the business. That is not accurate. I was present in the store during the purchase, communicated directly with Doug, received the receipt from him by text, and I was the one who returned to the store to collect the refund. I have also included screenshots of the original review that was removed. People rely on reviews when making important decisions, especially when purchasing medical equipment. Because of how this situation was handled and the communication afterward asking that the review be removed, I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. All of the statements in this review reflect my direct experience with this business and the communication I personally had with the owner.     My doctor submitted a referral to NSM IN 2025 for a replacement electric wheelchair, I've done…read moreeverything asked of me to obtain this desperately needed medical device. I am suffering severe Hemiplegia following a 2015 Hemorrhagic stroke and cannot function safely without adequate mobility aids. NSM has issued me two prior Medi-CAL covered power wheelchairs , the last being stolen from my front porch in July of 2025, it should of been a simple product replacment as my condition has not changed in the 11 years since my stroke. All that has changed is my medical coverage transitioning from Medi-cal to Medicare following my 65 birthday. Ive personally logged 5 medical in person contacts, a half dozen insurance queries and 9 document transmittals Followed by 43 telephone follow-ups to primary care providers, Physical therapy providers, Medi-cal and Medicare insurance providers and ultimately my Durable Medical Equipment provider (National Seating and Mobility ) . Still, here I sit 10 months after my wheelchair was stolen from my home, renting for $ 200 a month a much used wheelchair from a private vendor. $200 not covered by any insurance companies, but by taking away from $1,233.41 Social security check that is my only income and has drastically diminished my quality of living. My question is this to all entities involved with my medical care, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO BE TREATED WITH FAIRNESS AND RESPECT AND HOW DID WE END UP WITH ME IN THIS CRISIS.? "HELP"

    National Seating & Mobility Team,…read more I would like to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to National Seating & Mobility and the incredible team who delivered and assembled my daughter's bed. I especially want to recognize John, who truly went out of his way to ensure that my daughter's bed could be brought upstairs safely. I am also incredibly thankful to Luis and Justice, who arrived at our home and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was set up properly, as well as Sylvia, who helped make all of this possible through coordination and care. When my daughter's bed arrived, we were in a very difficult situation. Her room is upstairs, and our staircase made it extremely challenging to get the large boxes up safely. I was told that, in a worst-case scenario, the bed might not be able to be set up at all--which would have meant my daughter sleeping on the floor. This was all happening the day before Christmas Eve. Because of this amazing group of people working together, coordinating, and going above and beyond what was expected, my daughter was able to sleep in her bed. Their compassion, determination, and willingness to problem-solve made a world of difference for our family during an incredibly stressful moment. I cannot fully express how blessed and grateful I feel to have encountered a team that genuinely cared enough to make sure my daughter was taken care of. Their kindness and dedication will never be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
