I got a medical device for sleep apnea from them, it was called "night owl". It was a button looking thing that I taped to my finger that read what my body was doing when I sleep, it sent signals to a program they gave me for my iphone. After the first night I had little blisters on my forearms, I didn't relate the blisters to my device until the second night. The next night when the blisters started to look like boils. I had them on my arms and legs. I didn't use the device the third night and things started to heal up. I asked the supplier and he said he knew nothing of the device, even though they delivered it to me. I asked my doctor and he left in a hurry and didn't answer me when I showed him pictures, odd behavior for him. This device is dangerous, please stay away from it and Lincare. Near impossible to get hold of anyone locally. Awful at calling back and the national "help" line is a joke. Nothing but chasing a phone tree and being on hold forever. These folks are unorganized, non responsive, month and a half and STILL cannot get an order processed because they don't talk to one another. Stay Away!!!! read more

Lincare has no business being in the medical equipment field. Lincare has lost sight of the customer to the point of being downright cruel and taking advantage - especially of the elderly. With the assistance of an Attorney and Medicare, Lincare was reminded they were registered as a DME and if they were no longer providing oxygen, Medicare would proceed with a fraud investigation. Lincare was instantly able to provide the oxygen I was denied. After five long years on the transplant list and on 10LPM, the call finally came that an organ donor had been located. Lincare balked at providing me with enough oxygen to get me to the Transplant Center. Lincare required the Transplant Center contact them to validate my request. What? The wait for oxygen to be delivered was agonizing. Additional canisters were literally thrown into my vehicle and we were told if I ran out of oxygen to call the the police. At ten liters per minute, if I ran out of oxygen I would not survive long enough for help to arrive!!
