And seeing both old and young on the dance floor, doing it right, was heartwarming. The drinks are cheap and good. Can't speak for the burgers. They have a special wedding weekend rental where you can rent the loft from Friday afternoon until noon on Sunday. This is what we did and since all of the guests were from out of town it allowed us to have a place for everyone to congregate during the weekend. There are actually two different lofts in the Apothecary--one small, one large. Each has an open area for seating, a kitchen area, and a master suite. We rented the large loft and it held approximately 100 guests comfortably. If you aren't too worried about the comfort of your guests you can probably squeeze in 130 or so. I highly recommend the Apothecary for any special event and Crystal is great to work with!

They recently catered our holiday lunch and again, it was really terrible. I don't know how you mess up cheesy hashbrown casserole but this was watery, not cheesy and super garlicy. The green beans were also really garlicy. The staff was very nice but the food was the worst I've had via catering.

First of all, the reception space is nicely laid out, but for an outside venue they really ought to have more fans. On a hot, humid day, it got pretty uncomfortable. The fans they do have do not move, I asked. So if you're able to choose your summer reception seat, sit directly in front of the breeze! The grounds are very pretty, and well-maintained. The wedding ceremony area was pretty too, with barn doors that open and close as the bride comes down the aisle. The aisle itself is made of very uneven cobblestone, which was bothersome. Cobblestone is quaint but difficult to walk on in heels. They really should have leveled the ground where they were going to put the brick/cobblestone --this would help guests more easily walk on it. We also had some elderly family members that struggled. The serving staff was quite attentive. Rarely an an empty plate or glass sit on a table for more than a few minutes. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I realize that the bride and groom made the food choices, but don't offer something if it isn't tasty. The teriyaki chicken chunks were dry inside and the sauce tasted like what you would get in a frozen entrée packet. The pulled pork was drowned in sauce to cover up the fact that it was dry and stringy. The steamed vegetables were flavorless. The iced tea was very watered-down. The best tasting thing was the corn casserole, but it is sort of inherently bland so at least that tasted like it was supposed to! I know that wedding food being bad is a cliché, but this is some of the worst catered food I've had.

It was definitely meant to be, because they had our date open in just that short amount of time. Both Nancy, Shelby & staff, were so accommodating & fantastic to work with! It was so convenient to be able to have our rehearsal dinner at the same location, as well as getting ready in the beautiful log house for the ceremony. There was absolutely no stress the day before, or day of the wedding. No matter if you have your own decorations, or use theirs, they take care of everything and set up for you! It was beautiful and dreamy... everything and more that we ever thought it would be. We more than recommend this venue for anyone who is considering a barn type of setting for your special day! I know that sounds like most episodes of Friends but that monkey showed up for a while so I'm pretty sure it was season one. Some of the parking areas seem unsafe with no clear walkways and traffic moving through blind spots, so you got to be cautious. The buildings (pole barns) are clean and spacious before the shows. Restrooms are large, but could use more sinks. We had a catered event and the food was terrible. The chicken was dry as shoe leather and the asparagus were disintegrated. Potatoes were synthetic. At $32 a plate, I wish I'd skipped the meal. However, the serving staff were friendly. The buildings/show barns are versatile. They can accommodate anything from horse shows to antique shows. The Center is off the beaten path, making it easy to get in and out.

The talk was completely worthless because the assistants came over and did both about it which got us out of the tournament. One of the assistants was staring me down and told me to go back where i came from and that they don't need people like me. This made no sense because I didn't recall doing anything disrespectful towards the assistants. I was even shoved by one of those guys and stared down. If you are playing in a tournament here don't play if I could give this place 0 stars I would it's all thanks to the worthless assistants.
