I chose Lincoln Law based on the many positive reviews I read and my initial phone call to their office. When I spoke with the paralegal, George, he was very professional and answered all my questions. I explained my financial situation, and he assured me he would discuss it with his lawyer to see if they could help lower the cost. George followed up with an email confirming that the attorney had approved a lower amount, and I would be able to make payments. When I emailed him to clarify some details, he promptly responded affirming the information. However, when it came time to pay my first deposit on September 30, George suddenly claimed that the lower amount was not accurate and that he hadn't said that. I reminded him that he had clarified it through email. Despite my concerns, he continued to be talk over me in the conversation, and I expressed that this was unprofessional behavior. And lying about a price and getting the client all happy and worked up to Work with you guys is bad for business. It was frustrating to see the stark contrast between what I had been told via email and the higher price he was now quoting. I don't understand how others have had such positive experiences when I felt I was misled about the attorney's approval for a reduced fee.
