Friendly & Welcoming staff. LOVED it. Very clean bathrooms, showers, GREAT water pressure!! Laundry was fair priced and a very clean space. Kamp K9 had two large open pens, little side trails, sidewalks, and quiet neighborhoods to walk dogs and go for a morning run. Even has the entertainment area with horseshoes, giant chess/checkers, hangout area with shade. Feels like it was once upon a time an average RV park that they're bringing lots of KOA love to. Would stay again. Gas station, Ace Hardware, coffee & pizza shop just down the road. Location was easy to get to on the outskirts of town, but also close to Helena city attractions. read more

For those jumping on yelp to check reviews....the bad reviews are YEARS ago! This KOA is great - check the pictures out. Sites are nice, all have grass - which the little white fluff loves. Yes campsites are a little close together but you're most likely going to be out and about anyway. The gathering area is really nice with a gas fire pit, enclosed sand area - perfect for little John Deere tractor excavators of the world, canopy covered dining table, horse shoes, corn hole and other family games. Like morning walks? You will walk for miles. Great street side walking trails that go for what looks like miles into the hills or jump across the street to walk the canal through meandering through crop fields. Bathrooms are clean, laundry area clean. You can walk to a stellar convenience store, grab a pizza at a new little plaza, or get your morning latte as you head out for a walk. Camp hosts are serious about being the hosts with the mosts. read more

This KOA is one of the best!! It's updated, very clean facilities. They have a few log cabins to rent & they also have 3 silo cabins. They're cute & accommodate 6 with the bunk beds. I preferred to sleep in the RV but I could see renting a silo cabin if we had pre-teens or young adults traveling with us... just to give them a little space (and me time to clean the RV out). Staff was very nice & knowledgable. Easy hookups & nice level ground. There's an update cute play ground, for children & adults. Worth every penny! read more

Showers bathrooms and whole campground are very clean and service great for getting in late

Solid little place that was easy to get into and out of in our 40 foot bus. All the regular spaces have nice grass between spots with picnic tables - and they have a couple deluxe sites at the end that have a little patio with patio furniture and a fire pit and a grill. The roads are all gravel, and the long-term spaces in the back are also just all gravel, but it is good gravel and the spaces are level. They have a wonderful little activity area for the family, and their Wi-Fi was among the best we've had - and we've been doing this full-time for over six years. We liked that it was outside of the city in a more quiet place and not on the interstate; you cannot hear the interstate noise at all. And yet, it was just a couple minutes drive straight to the interstate and less than 10 minutes into the city. There is also a path through the perimeter fence to a trail that runs along the local canal which is really nice for long walks. Oh... And the staff is as nice as they come. read more

Beautiful camp site with clean facilities. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Hope to be back again one day.

We have been here for over two years off and on. The park is nice. The bathrooms and public areas are clean and they try to keep the riff-raft out. The owners will enforce quiet hours so be aware of that if you plan to use this park to party on the weekends or holidays. The office has VERY limited hours during the winter. Usually 9am to 10am. Just find a spot, park and pay in the drop box. It's unlikely you will find someone to talk to. I will update this review at a later date. We have 8 more months here. read more

This park has changed to a KOA. It was very clean and super easy to get in and out with a big rig. Looks like there are many updates happening at the camp. I would return for a short stay. Amenities are limited. read more

My husband and I stayed at the Lincoln Road RV Park the night of August 10, 2013. My husband was in a mad rush to get to Glacier National Park and just couldn't drive anymore. We arrived at 11pm and left at 9am the next morning. We have an RV and didn't need to use the showers or bathroom at the park...which is good because I just read one of the other reviews and am a little freaked out. The manager was very friendly on the phone and we were able to do an after hours check-in. My husband was able to fill the RV's propane tank the next morning. But I stepped in dog poop when I was picking up my dog's poop. I didn't read the reviews before we stayed there and apparently the place is ripe with dog poop. read more

After sending my kids out to pick up the trash and dog shit around my spot, I just watched the MANAGER of the park walk his dog all the way across the park to let his dog shit next to my RV. The place is nasty 95% of the time....boogers on the wall of the shower...backed up toilets...pee on the floor of the bathroom...hair all over the sinks. After you take a shower here you feel like you need to take a shower and get a tetanus shot. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Stay at the Wal Mart parking lot, it's cheaper and the bathrooms are cleaner. You can't shower there, but trust me you don't want to do it here. read more

Winter hours are terrible. Absolutely horrible RV Park. Its pointless to call. I have never received a response back ever. If you are super lucky the office might open one day a week. So no customer service. My site has had no water for two weeks. Pipes are frozen down in the ground. Told the office on that rare opening and the maintenance guy. That was two weeks ago. So this place only wants your money. If staying one night you drop cash in a box that been stolen before but you are expected to pay again. read more

We have been here since July 14 and have no complaints. The wifi is pretty fast; the park is convenient to tourist attractions and shopping. There are nice grassy plots between each site; water pressure is adequate. Propane prices are high but one pays for the convenience. Bathrooms are clean; laundry is clean; staff has been friendly. I don' know what all these people are complaining about. Do they have the right place?!! We've been staying at this park for 13 years now. The staff is friendly and professional. The office IS open EVERDAY from early morning to 8 pm. We have a dog, I walk it and have never stepped in dog poop. The dog walk is outside of the property and it is NOT their responsibility to pick up poop their guests leave behind. The bathroom and showers are always clean and sterile, and we use them everyday. Have never found boogers on walls, hair in sinks or showers. It's extremely quiet and we have NEVER EVER been bothered by other guest's noise or their animals. Lincoln Road RV Park, to my knowledge, is NOT OPEN for guests during the winter months. They have the same weather as Alberta, Saskatchewan and maybe Manitoba. They have tenants that live in their trailers all year long and I have never ever heard them complain. THIS IS A GOOD CAMP GROUND. It's clean, quiet and a great place to take out a telescope and look up at the stars. It's also 5 mins by vehicle to the shopping mall. read more

I suppose I was hoping that, after numerous complaints to management, things might get better the second month. I was so terribly wrong. The dog next door is still tied out most of each day, defecating all over two different RV spots and barking anytime anyone pulls through. Of course, I discovered quickly why this lady didn't feel it necessary to follow the book of rules provided by the RV park as the manager of the park decided to leash his dog and specifically walk him to my paid for RV spot and have it take a crap directly next to my vehicle. Then he walked away without bothering to clean up after his dog at all. Ah, no wonder people don't follow the rules....it's implied that they do not have to by the manager's own behavior. I will be leaving next week and, to be honest, the next time I'm in Helena, I can guarantee that I will NOT be staying here. It's really disappointing considering if they bothered at all to care, it could be a really nice place. read more

Spendy for no reason. Claim to have wifi, it's a Montana company provided to the entire area so good luck. Hey mention that in the pamphlet but not in the reviews. Stayed an entire week, never got the wifi for more than 5 minutes. Laundry facilities have a moldy old smell. Water pressure is good, slots are too narrow when pulling through you have to make the slides miss the electric hook ups. The length is great on all spots. Small trees and nice grassy spot, but be prepared you are on top of your neighbor. The dog area is horrible, basically the back of the Rv park, and full of stickers and tumble weeds. I will hand it to them, they provided doggy bags and a trash can. Finally, even though they offered a Good Sam discount, it canceled itself out by the time they added the 50amp service charge for every day. Find another more visibly appealing area, the tow. Built up around it and the school bell sounds throughout the day. read more

They only take phone reservations but never, never return calls. I called in the morning to book a reservation on 7/24/15. I called both numbers listed and got the same message that I would receive a return call. This is the only Good Sam recommended park in the Helena area. I drove 250 miles to get to this park only to discover that they were sold out the previous day. Had I recieved the promised call I could have made some other arrangements. Good Sam should be ashamed for recommending this place. Other reviewers have had a similar experience regarding returned calls. I would never consider this place again and if your smart you won't either. Forget it!!! read more
