I can't believe we have not found this place before. The pricing is the best value I have found in months with full hook ups, very friendly staff, and a wonderful family environment. Lots to do for kids with shade, Beautiful grass, and large sites. Will come back again for sure!

Yes, he called the cops on a guest for protecting my property.

This place was number 16 on our cross country trip from South Florida. My wife and I always cruise the park after we settle in to get an idea of the surroundings, we were literally cut off by some whack job in a golf cart asking us what we were doing. I explain to him we are guests of the park and we're just driving around getting a feel for things. That was the beginning of our nightmare here. I have a $350 search protector, that I always change to the post for obvious reasons. Hour after hooking up one of the employees comes by and says I have to remove it, for which I told him at the office give me something in writing stating that if it's stolen they will write me a check for $350. 15 minutes after he left but comes by with a cigarette stain mustache and overalls gets in my face and tells me that if I don't remove it, he's going to cut it off. Well let's just say that's when I went postal on this moron. I informed him that if he goes anywhere near my surge protector or my luck, I'm going to sue him for a lot more than $350. Give him proceeds to make a call to headquarters and leaves 10 minutes later you're my wife and I are grilling a nice steak for dinner and who comes around the corner to police officers he literally called the cops on us because I was protecting my own property. I must say the 2 cups from Garrison Police Department with the nicest kindest most understanding cops I've ever come across. One cup literally came up with an idea to lock my surge protector inside my storage by using his own personal caulk gun to wrap the chain around. It was brilliant have a problem doing that and they left a half hour later. My wife then went up to him and told him to stop throwing a cigarette butts on our lot and he got my wife's face and pushed your shoulder timer for which I went ballistic on the cops that me and the two cops ran up to him to control the situation. Let's just play this place is a nightmare I am still considering pressing charges against the manager. I want to say that I have no issues with the owner of the park or the other employees, just a manager of the park who came by and made our stay horrible. We clearly would've left immediately but big Labor Day there were no other spots around for us to leave too. I am enclosing let's mention the trains 4 to 5 times a night blowing their horns non stop. Did I mention that you have to share of electrical pedestal with your neighbor next-door who is facing the complete opposite direction of you, for which we have zero privacy. This is the worst RV park ever been to and I highly recommend everybody stay far far away.

We stayed for two nights. Friendly, clean, and easy check in. Terry and Peggy are so amazing!! We wanted to float but there unfortunately there are no shuttle services but terry and Peggy came to the rescue. We got to float and not walk four miles to the car

Where to begin? You are greeted when you first arrive at the park and two very friendly guys show you to your spot and even assist with backing your trailer into your spot (unless it's a drive thru). But the mosquitos. OMFG, it's like they're bred locally and riled up into an angry frenzy before being released upon you. Granted, the river is swollen due to recent rains but if you're into pain, feel free to stand outside for five minutes. I've got at least a dozen bites from the maybe 1/2 hour outside time in the three nights and four days I've been here. It's a great little park, defiantly quiet and peaceful but you just can't go outside during mosquito season. We were invited by the owner to a July fourth delegate the chapel, but again, due to the blood suckers, we didn't want to chance going outside for the short walk across the park. Deer Park is about 20 minutes away. I would like to come back for another visit, AFTER the flying vampires die. Then there's the trains that come by every couple of hours. I don't know why, but they insist on blowing their horns several times as they go by. It's almost as if they're doing it on purpose. I haven't slept more than a couple of hours in four days. Did I mention the killer mosquitos? They're worse than the Minnesota state bird...

NO STARS!!! Was staying there, my son was playing with another little boy, they were running around…read moreplaying with fake guns belonging to the other boy. The other boys father and brother were both watching them, well the guy that mows the lawn, came out of the bathroom and yelled at my son so much that when my son came home he couldn't even talk to tell me what happened. He was sobbing! I went outside and yelled at the guy that if he has a problem with my son come talk to me don't ever yell at him again! Both the other boys father and brother said my kid didn't do anything wrong. The next morning I printed a formal complaint and left it at the office for when they opened at 9am, was headed over at 9:30 to discuss the complaint when a police officer shower up at my door. They said they called about the gun incident, apparently the gun triggered the guys PTSD, well my kid also has PTSD and no man needs to be yelling at him! We ended up leaving because I was due to pay that day anyway and refused to give them ANY more of my money! No apology from any of the staff or owners! And since this incident I have seen 3 men in different stores with real guns oh their waists, if an orange fake gun is going so triggering for the worker's PTSD perhaps Montana one of the most gun friendly states isn't the place for him! I'd stay far far away from this campground you have kids! Below is the fake gun that was so scary!

Friendly & Welcoming staff. LOVED it…read more Very clean bathrooms, showers, GREAT water pressure!! Laundry was fair priced and a very clean space. Kamp K9 had two large open pens, little side trails, sidewalks, and quiet neighborhoods to walk dogs and go for a morning run. Even has the entertainment area with horseshoes, giant chess/checkers, hangout area with shade. Feels like it was once upon a time an average RV park that they're bringing lots of KOA love to. Would stay again. Gas station, Ace Hardware, coffee & pizza shop just down the road. Location was easy to get to on the outskirts of town, but also close to Helena city attractions.

Sites are nice, all have grass - which the little white fluff loves. Yes campsites are a little close together but you're most likely going to be out and about anyway. The gathering area is really nice with a gas fire pit, enclosed sand area - perfect for little John Deere tractor excavators of the world, canopy covered dining table, horse shoes, corn hole and other family games. Like morning walks? You will walk for miles. Great street side walking trails that go for what looks like miles into the hills or jump across the street to walk the canal through meandering through crop fields. Bathrooms are clean, laundry area clean. You can walk to a stellar convenience store, grab a pizza at a new little plaza, or get your morning latte as you head out for a walk. Camp hosts are serious about being the hosts with the mosts.
