I put money in the change machine, a $20 bill in fact and received only $1.25 in change. I left three notes and made two phone calls and was assured that I would be reimbursed. Two months later still nothing. And more and more machines are tagged as out of order. What happened to this place in the past year? Poor management and maintenance.

My recent Sunday morning load of laundry was done there in Boone, as Squeaky Clean's outpost in Ames didn't provide any means for obtain quarters. There were no such issues here in Boone, aside from having to feed more quarters in than I expected. The Laundromat itself was clean and spacious, and with plenty of washers, dryers, and folding tables available. Fellow patrons were a mix of families, single adults, and students. There was also a clean restroom available and easy access to my car and the street. The bottom line was that my clothes came out clean and dry.
