Both my young children take lessons at Lincroft Music. My daughter takes group singing - the class is interactive and fun. They learn songs that they recognize from the radio, which makes it adorable to be driving around with your child, while running errands, and she belts out the song playing on the radio. Technique is incorporated into the weekly lesson to ensure the students are being properly trained ... even at a young age. The teachers are knowledgeable, fun, and they love their job! Both my young children take the mini musicians class, as well. Each week they learn about a different instrument. It's such a great introductory class. Helping them become well rounded in the love of playing an instrument, in the future. Again, the teacher is wonderful! The owner knows every single child and adult who walks into her studio. She greets everyone with a smile, and gets to know them as she welcomes them into her studio. The studio is like a small family. The teachers all get along, they interact with the parents, and they encourage all of their students to do their very best. I'm looking forward to continuing to have my kids take lessons and learn more about music. I just came back from a guitar lesson at Lincroft Music with Mr. Cohen and I just had to share my experience. If you're looking for a music school to take guitar lessons, this really is the best place. I've been taking lessons with David for a couple of weeks now and I feel like I have already learned so much. He is super patient and really knows his stuff. He breaks down all the complicated techniques into simple concepts and honestly adapted to my more orthodox learning style. The best part is that the atmosphere at Lincroft Music is really chill and laid back. It doesn't feel like a stuffy music school at all. The staff is all really friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel like part of the family. If you're looking to take guitar lessons, definitely give this place a try. I started taking guitar lessons as an adult here 7 years ago! Learning as an adult can be hard but they make it fun and doable. It's never too late to learn. My husband now comes too for piano. We just signed up our two girls (6&11) a few months ago and their progress blows my mind. One does drums and one does Ukulele We have been so impressed with this studio!! Lucien and Sheri are why we come, they treat everyone like family and work tirelessly to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. I have been taking my son here for piano lessons for several years and I feel its a great school, The teachers are very kind and bring out the best in my child. They have their own parking lot and you don't have to pay a meter like you would at red bank..so that's a plus, The school has a waiting area to sit and listen to your kid improve with every lesson. They have a pretty good call out policy of 5 hours in advance if you cannot make it to the lesson but its better than some places that require 24 hour notice. so it is not unreasonable.. My 6 year old son LOVES his guitar lessons here!! He's been taking them with Lucien for almost a year now. My older daughter (11) just started voice too and she's loving it!! We tried 2 studios in Red Bank Before this but the teachers weren't as educated in one case and weren't fun in another case. I must say I have been very happy with this place! I went in for some lessons in singing. I didn't think I could carry a tune but the patience of the instructors and the teaching skill is impeccable. Cheapest music lessons around. My husband went for years before they moved to this location and my daughter went for a couple years also.
