When we got there, our instructor had us fill out a form and ask what kind of dances we liked. Based on what we told her, she had us do the Waltz and East Coast Swing today. The lesson was 30 minutes and we learned the basic step and a turn for each style. It was super fun! I think I'm ready for Dancing with the Stars now. Lol! I'm nowhere near that good, but I can't wait for our next lesson on next week.

Recital and dress rehearsal scheduling is disastrous in every way. Imagine carting your entire family to four or five recitals to watch your child dance for two minutes per show? Hours of unnecessary travel and sit around and wait because of their inability to schedule. Don't forget, you'll need to take off work and check your child out of school for rehearsals. Oh, and you'll need to buy tickets to all these different shows for everyone at $20 each, including even your dancer! Simply not an enjoyable, family-centered experience. to conclude a year of class fees in the thousands.

Parents can sit behind the two-way mirror to observe their child during class. Students received a sticker after class. We will probably sign up for fall classes, because we enjoy it so much. I will say this, the summer classes filled up fast. It's about 8 or 9 kids in my daughters class which is a good amount. The price of the summer classes are very reasonable as well class began on June 3rd and ends August 3rd. They do take off the week of the 4th of July. The Dance Foundation is such a warm and inviting place!!!
