An older female administrator refused to verify out of network insurance benefits quote "I'm not doing this" "this is ridiculous" and "well then they're just gonna have to pay" even though insurance information was sent 24 hrs in advance. She was not only incompetent but- mocking and spiteful. She spent nearly an hour arguing with and alienating a new patient but claimed she didn't have time to verify the pay schedule with the insurance provider because she was too busy. The next day a different practice was able to verify out of network benefits and provide an estimate and treatment. Avoid this place. We didn't make it past the mean old troll at the front desk and cannot attest for the actual quality of dental work performed here but the sense of entitlement and lack of empathy displayed by the receptionist/admin was enough for my wife to walk out in tears. Dr. Westmoreland preformed not one but TWO root canals on the same tooth and this is after a whole appointment wasted because she could not get me numb (don't worry, I had facial paralysis the rest of the day for no reason though) I went to get a second dentist opinion on said tooth because Dr.Westmoreland was multitasking other patients during said root canals and I lost trust that the job was being done appropriately. This other dentist informed me that I should have been referred to a specialist initially and I will have to receive my THIRD root canal. I called WEDGEWOOD Dental in rolla and spoke with the manager who states "the third appointment was to finish the second root canal" and she will ask the Doctor if she can refund the money but they don't feel like they should, EVEN THOUGH the root canal was not completed. I called to follow up today, and was told they are " No longer taking calls from me anymore". Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN YOUR MONEY. She is a thief and it was an actual nightmare working with her. read more

Just had my dentures relined here. Dr Westmoreland seemed put out that I didn't want to send them off to lab to be done and wanted them to be done in house. within just a few hours the dentures would no longer stay in place, liner peeling and chunking out. upon further inspection find that the dentures were ground even further and no longer come close to fitting with sharp edges and divots gouged on the edges. When called to complain they acted like they just didn't give a damn and seemed upset that i wasn't pleased. when informed them i would be filing a complaint with insurance whoever answered phone started getting irate. Very bad service. Dentist suggests you root canal when it is not needed. Billing is horrendous. Susan said I don't owe anything for general evaluation and after 2 weeks when I didn't go back for a root canal, they send me an 80$ bill for no reason. They keep sending mails/ text messages/phone calls for me to pay, I had to finally pay 40$ and settle the crap. Recommend not to visit this place. read more

I'm new to the area so I went to see Dr Westmoreland because she was my preferred dentist through my dental insurance. I was quoted a price on my first visit for a cleaning and for a filling on a tooth. Four months later I started getting bills for the entire amount of the two visits and the dental insurance was never filed. I called to ask why insurance was never filed but they say they filed Arkansas DD, I have Mo DD, she said she would refile the claim, the next month I get the same bill for the entire amount, I called the insurance company and the said they had sent a partial payment because the claim they filed was for a filling on a tooth that had a crown. I called her office again and was told not to worry about it, they would refile and take care of it. This week I got another bill for the entire amount with no credit from the insurance company payment! Their billing office clearly does not know how to file, dental claims do not use this dentist unless you plan to pay out of pocket!! read more

Dr. Linda was wonderful! The office staff is helpful, friendly and informative. Ive been afraid to go to the dentist but it was pain free! The hygienist was very concerned over my comfort and made sure that I felt no pain. Ive had my teeth cleaned twice and also went through the Sinsational Teeth Whitening process, it was quick and worked very well and I received a kit to take home where I can continue whitening at home. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about, but after my consultation, they sat down with me and helped me come up with an affordable dental plan where I could take care of teeth and by the way, I do not have dental insurance. Billing is absolutely horrendous. Overcharged for services & billing did not submit claims to insurance. When trying to have corrected NUMEROUS times, I was always assured it would be corrected then received a bill collections letter in the mail. Sarah in Wedgewood Billing actually laughed at me & my concerns. Dr. Linda Westmorland finally returned my message after calling her office everyday trying to reach her and have the billing mistake corrected & for her to know how her office is being ran, said she was standing behind her employees. My relatives attended this office also but have subsequently found another dentist because of the same issue and not doing proper work to the fitting of their dentures.
