This is a very nice and quiet park near the freeway and the Huntington Hospital. This is also in a…read morenice neighborhood. I come here to walk and hang out during my lunch breaks. It's surprisingly clean for a park. I believe this park is pet friendly but I think they need to be on a leash. I only give it 3 stars because I've seen some sketchy homeless people here hanging out by the bathrooms from time to time. Please keep your children near at all times. There is a large grass area perfect for a picnic date. I've seen teen couples doing picnics and it's the cutest thing. Parking isn't so easy. The residents use street parking. And I know some patients from the hospital/ medical facilities are parking near the park because it's free.

The trees and gate make it feel safer and more secluded but it's right next to the freeway and a busy street (Colorado Blvd.) It's definitely a neighborhood park, not a destination park. You can rent the park if you have an event. While you're in the area, check out the mansions on San Rafael Ave. and grab a coffee and a bite at Little Flower Company.

The park offers a play structure for kids to climb and play, a grassy area for people to picnic and throw a ball around, and walk paths to meander. The facilities are clean, and the park is well maintained. There is also a basketball court and a softball field. It was nice to see children off screens, playing and happy, and families barbequing and picnicking. There are some large trees that offer shade, and a couple picnic benches. People should take more time to go to parks, relax in nature, and enjoy the peace and serenity of being outdoors. Spend some time at Two Strike Park.

Initially we were to hold her bday party at a different park in Pasadena but we found out last minute that the parking lot would not be accessible to the general public due to a huge event. First of all, let me tell you a lil trick to finding this spot. You need to turn onto Wilson from California to find this spot at all. There are a pair of black gates to drive through to get to the park portion of the area. I love how enclosed this park is and how secluded it is. It feels like such a darling little secret garden. The play structure is especially for the smaller kiddos but even the 6-7 year olds that I was entertaining had a fun time on the structure. The bathrooms are open and they are clean considering this is a very public park. But, let me tell you this . . . this isn't a city owned park. This is one that is owned by the school and is more private. Therefore, I think the conditions of the park are that much better. I wish I had taken more photos of the park itself but I was just so busy organizing the party materials that I didn't have the chance to do so. I love the amount of space that there is for the kiddos to run around. There is more than enough space to throw frisbees and to play catch. Some friends of ours, their sons were playing soccer and practicing tee-ball. There are more than enough space for all of us. There was another family here preparing to host a birthday party. Luckily there were no park reservations between us and there was more than enough space here for both parties to go on simultaneously. There are tons of trees and lots of shady areas as well as others that are so flooded with natural sunlight that it gives such nice "filters" for photos. I know I was able to get lots of photos taken and they were so w. onderful because of what the natural light lends to them. I am so glad that we'd found this spot. I'd love to come here and picnic but spend the afternoon playing. We brought out one bubbles, balls of different kinds as well as side walk chalk. We had a blast. There are BBQ pits and sinks here, as well as 2 restrooms. I love that the restrooms were so clean and well kept. There was no urine stink or any of that. I still brought my own roll of paper towels, small bottle of soap and some sanitizer but I'm even more happy that I didn't really NEED those things. So if I hadn't thought to bring 'em on my own, at least the park had what would have been necessary. Parking is a tad tight but there is plenty of it. If you drive allllll the way down the parkway there are some spaces right in front of the park as well. Honestly I have nothing negative to say about this park. There are ants but let's keep in mind, this is a park. It is outdoors. LOL. I was shocked people wanted to complain about their being ants out there. Haha. I felt completely safe at this park and I was so glad that I wasn't the only one who felt that way. We invited several other little families who were at the park to join us in eating pizza and to celebrate our lil one's bday with us. Everyone was so friendly and so social. It was a lot of fun and this was the perf venue for her bday. A reminder, use your internet browser to search tournament park. Additionally, your reservation is not marked but you can call staff at the park if there are any misunderstandings. People were generally good and I never had to call park staff.

The park was once the large lot home of the Eddie family, donated years ago and converted into a public park. I worked a few blocks away at East West Bank Corporate Offices for over three years, and never knew this was here. The expansive lawn with mature trees now features a small play structure, an outdoor brick patio/barbecue area with ample shade, a walking path, swing sets, and the original house-- effectively converted into a rentable space for birthday parties, Girl Scout activities, and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. While not elegant, it has a certain historical charm... If you're into old local architecture, you can relish the old leaded glass, brick fireplace, and original concrete driveway. Neighbors seem to have gotten used to the kids and out-of-towers, but there is a palpable annoyance felt from a few, regarding us visiting Arcadians and Pasadena-folk from over the steering wheels of their respective Range Rovers. No matter... We had a good time, and besides, this public park is so off the beaten path, I can't imagine anyone knows about it. ...Well, except my 2700+ Yelp friends, now. My kids can run, play, scream and I can see them in every corner of the park without worry. Plus, Garfield Park is WAY too crowded. Eddie Park is like 1/2 block square. There are two swing sets, one for babies, one for big kids. A small but nice play structure which is also, yay, shaded. A big expanse of grass for running and some trees to climb too. All in all, this is the best park in South Pas-far from the maddening crowds.

So grateful my daughter was part of a good high school that supported their students and communities. I have since found a few parks that have either dedicated pickleball courts and/or tennis courts that have pickleball court lines. I have even found one park where you need to bring your own net, but the pickleball lines are present. Anyway, Farnsworth Park has been my go-to park for outdoor pickleball play lately. It has 4 beautiful dedicated pickleball courts and one tennis court with pickleball lines (bring your own net). People here are nice and friendly. It's not too competitive. Everyone just want to play pickleball and have some fun. This park is huge and lovely. Tons of picnic area. Lots of trees with great shade. Baseball field, basketball courts, children playground area, amphitheater, and so much more. I love this park! I wish I live closer to this park so I can come here to play pickleball and enjoy the rest of the park more often. I'm only here on the weekends when I can make it. Maybe when I get a place of my own later on, I'll consider living nearby or as close as possible if I can afford it LOL. Anyhoo, this is a must visit park!

This little big park really surprised me, not just with its street and lot parking, but with its layout and abundance. I came here on a date night to see an outdoor performance of Cabaret (one of my top 5 favorite musicals), which was amazing!! We went to support our pal Avery who was in the show... The park overall is very clean, easy to navigate and has plenty of public restrooms though they seem to close them around 8ish/9 which is understandable though should have some flexibility in the late spring and summer months, especially for performances + school will be out which means kids, families and everyone will be out later. If you ever have a chance to drive up to this lush green hidden gem encompassing Mount Curve Avenue, Marengo Avenue, Lake Avenue and Concha Street with various addresses off each street (all going to the same place)... Then soak it all up.

The restroom is also on this level, and from the tennis courts below, you can clearly hear toilets flushing, which is... not ideal. Downstairs, there are two tennis courts and a practice wall where you can hit against the wall or even play handball. Functionally, it serves its purpose well if you're just here to play. This is a park I would only visit during the day. While it's convenient and usually quiet, I wouldn't feel comfortable coming here at night.
