Morgan and Linda do amazing work. I've always been a "DIY" kinda person when it comes to grooming my animals, mostly because other experiences have often left me believing that I do a better job myself (and that's even with acknowledging I don't exactly know what I'm doing). Anyway - I'm so happy to be able to trust Morgan and Linda with making my furbaby look AND feel great! They removed all her dead and matted hair, especially from her neck and tail where it'd started to get pretty bad and were difficult for me to brush out on my own. She had so much dead hair caught up in her fluffiness that she had a more grey tone to her color. Now she's back to her shiny black! I thought she was getting more grey with age - but no she just needed a solid grooming! They shaped her to perfection, my cute lil poof! Like a soot-sprite from Spirited Away ;) Most surprising of all, she was ecstatic when I arrived to pick her up. Not for me, though!! She wanted to stay there with Morgan! I'm used to her bolting for the door, like "get me outta here!" But for the first time ever after the groomers, she hung back and barked at Morgan for more attention. My pup had no interest in leaving anytime soon after what I could tell was such a lovely spa day experience for her We will definitely be returning. All I have to say is that I dropped my pup off at 9:15am with her shaking like the world is about to end and picked her up an hour later happy as a clam. I ended up taking my dog to the vet shortly after being groomed at this place. Her tail was droopy and unresponsive, and she was very very needy, which is not normally her way. She ended up having a sprained tail, and was put on some anti-inflammatory medication. The staff were nice to us, but i will not be bringing her back. If your animal is a difficult groom, please consider another groomer. read more

I have taken my former dog and my current puppy in a total of 5 times to this groomer. Every time has been a satisfactory visit and my Shih Tzu(s) have looked great...until the last visit 3 months ago. Normally, the owner's daughter has done the grooming. At the last visit, however, a new groomer (an older lady) had done the "cut". I always asked for a "Shih Tzu cut" and typically let them know what I'm talking about. Upon picking up my puppy the last visit, I realized that she had been shaved not cut. Since Shih Tzu's don't have fur and instead have hair, my puppy was down to near skin. I was shocked to see her look so naked. The groomer even mentioned to me (for no apparent reason) that my puppy didn't look pure-bred. Both my previous Shih Tzu and my current puppy have been purchased by a verified breeder and I can assure you that they are pure bred (not that it should matter). I found it rather offensive that the groomer would comment and assumed she was attempting to cover for her bad groom. I always ask for a typical Shih Tzu cut and it has never been a problem....it is indeed a "cut" as the groomer would know to use scissors. Today was the first visit since the "shave" as my puppy's hair took THAT LONG to grow out. I was approached by the owner, Linda, as I arrived . This is the VERY first time ever seeing her. I haven't met her and never recall seeing her at the 5 previous appointments. She told me that going forward if I wanted my dog "cut with scissors " it would be an additional cost of $10-$15 OVER the $60 grooming fee. I agreed and told her as long as my puppy didn't look like last time and wouldn't be shaved with clippers, fine. Linda repeated 3 more times that the fee would be more than previously and then finally asked if I understood. At that time I felt like she was being condescending and told her I understood it the first several times she made it clear. Linda stated that "the last few appointments she had heard me mention to the groomer that I requested my dog be "shaved with clippers ". Even after I told her I have never had either of my Shih Tzu's shaved and that I have never seen Linda in the shop, she insisted that I was not being truthful and repeated that she had heard me ask for a shave. Voices got louder and she abruptly said, "I am going to have to ask you to leave and not return "! I understand explaining an increase in charges, even if it was never in place previously BUT to insist I asked for something I never have and then lie to my face instead of listening to your customer and resolving the issue like an adult and a professional is an incredible insult. I have used Linda's Four Paw Spa to groom my dog several times, and have been reasonably satisfied every time.........EXCEPT for this last session. I called early in the week and left a message requesting an appointment for grooming, I was called back and given a time to bring my dog in at 9:15am on Saturday. Now usually I drop my dog off, and I am called to pick him up about 90 minutes later. I assumed that this visit would be about the same , but i was wrong. When I dropped him off at 9:15, he was immediatly put in a kennel, but I just assumed it was only going to be a few minutes until the groomer finished the dog she was currently working on. I left for work and told my wife he should be ready in an hour and half. Time starting going by, soon it had been 3 hours without a call...., then over 5 hours.....finally my wife went to the shop and was told that it would be another hour, and said she saw that he was in the kennel. Finally at 4:00pm my wife picked up our dog, after he apparently was held in a kennel for 6 hours!!!!! Why in the heck did they schedule his grooming for 9:15am if they were going to put him in a Kennel for hours, and not groom him until 6 hours later????? When my wife called me at work to tell me what happened, I was livid, but they were closed when i got off work. I will NEVER take my dog to this place ever again. And i cant believe they charged $50.00 after locking him up for most of the day in a 3' x 2' x 3' kennel. I am still very upset read more

I went in today to get my maine coon cat, Tattimus, a hygiene shave. The woman working today was alone in the shop, but still managed to take tatty earlier than her appointment. She was quick, professional, and Tatty liked her. (Tatty is a VERY picky cat when it comes to people.) Definitely taking Tatty there again next time she needs a shave done. read more

I have been taking my dogs to Linda's Four Spa for a few years but after my recent experience I won't be going back. After dropping my dog off to get groomed I received a call telling me that I needed to come pick up my dog and take him to my vet because he was bleeding and they were not able to get the bleeding to stop. I was confused and said what do you mean he is bleeding, where from? When I arrived to pick him up they had him in a dog carrier and said to leave him in there so you don't get blood all over your car. They said that he was bleeding from his tail and needed to be seen by his vet and they would accept all charges as they had accidently cut him. I immediately took him to the vet where the vet informed me that the tip of his tail had been cut off and he would need emergency surgery. The vet bill came to over $400.00. My dog has had intense pain and the injury is very hard to heal. He has to wear a cone at all times except to eat. He is very agitated and upset. He has been prescribed pain killers, anti anxiety and antibiotics. I brought the bill into Linda's Four Paw Spa to be reimbursed and the owner explained to me that each groomer is responsible for their own mistakes and that the groomer that injured my dog was responsible to pay my vet bills not her. I told her that she was the business owner and the checks for grooming are made out to the business and not to the individual groomer. She then wrote me a check for $200.00 but said I would need to collect the rest from the groomer. After another week or two of having no luck of collecting any money from the groomer, I again told her that she as the business owner was the responsible party. She then sent me a check for the remaining balance of the vet bill minus the cost of grooming charge ($48.00) which I had not been asked to pay and would not have paid under the circumstances. I'm shocked that Linda's Four Paw Spa would even charge me for the grooming after all that my dog has been through since this incident occurred. read more

So pleased with the entire experience. First, my voicemail requesting to schedule was returned promptly, which I have had issues with previously with other groomers. Second, every staff member at Linda's 4 Paw Spa was so very friendly and sweet with our dogs. My two dogs, an English Bulldog and an American Cocker Spaniel, who both have very different personalities were happy and relaxed when I came to pick them up. My Cocker Spaniel has probably been to 3-4 different groomers over the years and this was the first place she didn't want to leave when I came to pick her up. She ran back over to a groomer for attention! I was so impressed. She's typically a shy dog. To me, that speaks volumes to the quality of care and handling. And of course, lastly, the haircut and nail trims were impeccable and exactly what I asked for. Going back again and again--they have a loyal customer in me and our dogs! Linda's Four Paw Spa is the worst groomer I have ever taken my sweet baby to! Stay away. This is a dirty, unprofessional business person. Obviously way past her prime. Should retire. My chi is 3 1/2 years old and has been groomed at professional groomers since she was 10 weeks old. I've never had a problem. Linda was hours late. Her husband and another woman pressured me into leaving Bella. I should have trusted my instincts. When she finally showed up , I found out she not only hadn't done the grooming, as she told me she would be when I made the appointment, but was crabby and very unprofessional. When I went to pick up my little 4 pound chi, she had not even been washed, her nails were not done evenly, her ears had not been cleaned, she had been sprayed with a perfumey spray that I never have used on her. A stupid bow on a rubber band had been (I'm sure painfully) put into the short hair on top of her chi head! And to add insult to injury, I was over charged. If you care anything about your dog, stay away from this horrible place, and the horrible owner. read more
