I've taken my dog several times after scheduling almost a month out. For them to call me and tell me they weren't able to take care of him. They say my dogs too aggressive and they're worried he'll bite even though my dog is a 25 pound small/medium size Cairn Terrier (he's almost 14 now with anxiety). Anyway I even tried working with them and giving him an anxiety pill before taking him. They still said it wasn't good enough and actually wanted me to give him more. Found my new go-to groomer! My entire experience with Angels Among Us was excellent- everyone was responsive and very friendly from start to finish. Cesar was the one who groomed our cairn terrier, and I can't recommend him enough! He did a fantastic job, and it's clear that he is passionate about what he does. Angels Among Us Grooming did an amazing job. My 11 month old boxer puppy has never gotten his nails done by anyone other then us at home. They took him in and got the job done quickly. We have four dogs and 1 cat. When we had our pit bull, we brought her down to Angels Among Us because she could not fit in our laundry room wash sink. We took her down ever 3 weeks. It's a small mother/daughter owned business and a couple of grooming assistants. Michelle, the daughter is very good with pets. Our pit always came back very clean and she seemed to tolerate being groomed there. We take our Chihuahuas and Shitzu down there to get their nails done. For the amount of work to get nails done, which is a couple of minutes for each dog we thought it was pricey. Pet smart usually charges $5, but Angel charges $10. The pricing seems to not correlate with the full service grooming which is $30 for bathing, drying and nail service. They also have self bathing service, which I think ranges from $15-$20 depending on weight. Overall, for proximity and convenience coupled with a decent price and service, I think it is reasonable and will continue to bring our pets here. read more

This place is the best! I have an old Golden Retriever and she doesn't like baths, grooming or getting hrer nails done. I brought her here and will never go anywhere else. The staff really cares about the animals and take their time. She's never looked (or smelled) better in her life. Always a great job on my large goldendoodle here. I took my dog in last week and wanted to be very specific that he didn't get shaved down to nothing. Cesar did an amazing job and everyone at this place has done a great job. First couple times I had Kelly, she did an amazing job. I can't remember the other person's name, but every time they are consistent and he comes out looking cute, puppy or teddy bear cut. I took him somewhere else that was open when they were all supposed to be shut down and he was shaved and looked ridiculous. I will only take him here from now on. read more

We brought in our 2 dogs. One is a shy grumpy old lab who doesn't like his nails clipped, and the other is a long haired puppy who'd never been to the groomers before. They managed to clean and clip both of them (at a great price) and didn't complain about how much work our dogs were. My dog loves these ladies and she is not the easiest dog to groom. She looks and smells great afterward. Highly recommended.

I just have to say that I had these ladies groom my four dogs for Christmas photos and I never have seen my own dogs look so good. My Jack Russell (why would he need grooming, right!) was so super white I needed sunglasses to look at him. My spaniel's coat was silky soft for months. And they loved it there. Great people, great grooming. No other place will do. Challenge yourself to see how great your dog can look. read more

Angels Among Us falsely advertises as a "Grooming and a Self-wash Salon". Without fail, whenever I go in and ask if I can use their self-bathing services, the owner replies, "I won't have any hot water until after 4:00 with no apologies, explanations or attempts at customer service". I wish they would be honest and stop offering their self-wash services. It is quite clear they are not at all interested in that part of their business venture. I am constantly bemused by the name they have taken. From my experience, they are light years away from being "angels". read more

I am a dog breeder/show person. I've groomed my own dogs for 16 years. The job I hate the most is clipping my dog's nails. Who cares how her nail clipping price compares to the body grooming price. You couldn't pay me enough to do someone else's dog's nails whether it be $10 or $110!! I'd say be thrilled that she only charges $10!! read more

These gals are awesome and have been very good to me and my critters the last 3 years. I have a small rescued blind poodle I bring here for grooming and she always comes home beautiful and happy. I also have an Anatolian shepard who is 11months old and HATES being blow dried and his nails being trimmed. Michelle and the gang patiently put up with this 125lb puppy thrashing and screaming like a little girl. I wash and blow dry him myself but they do the nails and have to hear my very vocal guard dog whimper like a little girl screaming. Geeezzzz, and he's supposed to kill wolves???!!!LOL Anyway, they put up with us. One day I called and asked if they minded if I bring this little goat I bought in because she was from a filthy place and needed a bath, they didn't hesitate to say yes. The goat was actually better than my Anatolian better!! Michelle and her Mom started a new slogan that day, "we'll groom anything but cats"! I think she was kidding, but we had fun! These folks are really good people and I highly recommend them if you want groomers who have proven to tolerate ALL kinds of animals with patience and love. I appreciate them a lot!! read more
