This sounds silly, but the images they send are often like professional pet portraits and it gives me peace of mind while I'm traveling. One of them is currently the background on my phone. They also do nice holiday perks, like a Thanksgiving turkey meal or pictures of your dog with the Grinch (who's a very committed staff member in a full blown costume). I get the sense that the folks who work here are good people who love dogs and have a solid sense of humor. Whenever they arrive, my pup jumps up to say, "Hi" and gladly hops along into the car. TLDR - I always feel confident sending my dog here, and I appreciate how they take such good care of my sweet girl.

I have a 7month old Lab puppy, she is a wiggly monster. They were able to trim her nails in 5 min. They didn't shame me or make me feel bad that my puppy is a puppy. I couldn't wait to schedule an appointment-you can tell everyone there will care for your dog. They talked to Luna and I don't even think she barked because the attention they gave her- fabulous service! Oh and for a nail trim they let me do a walk in! I had been struggling trying to trim myself and her nails were getting knarly so they saved me!

Because my canine is a Service-Dog who uses his nose to work, I requested unscented shampoo and as nice as the clerk was, they could not accommodate. The store is bright, clean and well organized, but I have to say for someone who washes her Service dog once every week or two paying $44+ for a self service dog bath seems insane to me. In all my years of washing service dogs I have never paid more than $20 and most of the time I'm offered a Service-Dog discount to somewhere between six and $12. Max $18. Also, I was looking for cotton balls and Q-tips, etc. to be able to dry out and clean out my dog's ears, which they had none of. So in summary, I brought my own shampoo, washed my own dog used one towel and it cost me $44 & a back ache. Part of the reason I go to the self-serve places is because I don't want to hurt my back, but I could've used a hose for free and been in the same place. I offered suggestions as I departed, but they seemed to fall on deaf ears, or the clerk seemed to have heard it all before and kind of brushed it off. Even if I lived in this town, I would never go back to this place because it's simply not a match for me.why should I work that hard and pay that much money just to need a chiropractor?

Having my dog with a bunch of others, sometimes that happens so I don't blame them at all. What I appreciated was their quick response to it!!

During our vacation, communication was extremely poor. After seeing a concerning photo of our dog appearing to have an altercation with another dog, we tried repeatedly to get updates. We had to keep reaching out ourselves and ultimately had to ask the owner to send us a photo because we had gone days without seeing or hearing anything about him. At pickup, we were initially charged the wrong amount. We had also paid for an exit bath, but were told it had been removed because they weren't sure whether it had been done. When we got our dog into the car, he smelled strongly like he had not been bathed at all. The most disappointing part was the way our concerns were handled. Rather than acknowledging them or apologizing, the interaction felt defensive and dismissive. We won't be boarding our dog here again. Communication, organization, and customer service all need significant improvement.

We started…read morebringing our three miniature toy schnauzer here a few months ago when our neighbors Chris and Christy stopped over at our Camano Island house with there two schnauzers. We asked where they took there dogs to get groomed and they raved about Pets Ahoy. So we gave them a shot and now we bring them here one a month. All three pups come out looking amazing and they are super fast getting them groomed. Usually in two hours all three are done. Our other groomer took all day meaning we would have to drop them off at 8am and usually get a call around 3-4pm to pick them up. Pets Ahoy Grooming is super close to our Camano Houses which makes us love bringing them here. Prices are reasonable compared to the other groomers we tried in Downtown Arlington.
