Would be nice if they Called you back, or txt back , show up when your dog is scheduled, did not happen only once , but twice. First time was fine, stuff happens, 2 nd time, not. Really liked how close it was to our home. We only had Brittany doing our dog, so that does not mean that the whole office is this way. Just don't recommend Brittany. My scruffy little pup loves getting groomed by Chelsea. I'm able to book with her easily and my pup always leaves looking and smelling great. For a bath, haircut, teeth brushing, and nail trim the total is $65. Which is comparable to other groomers I've taken her too. She looks like a different dog when she's done. The only reason I am giving one star review is because I can't give ZERO. This business is unethical it their practices and I wish I would have read the reviews before considering them for grooming. Took our Shepherd puppy for shampoo, brushing and toe nail clipping. The price, which I thought was extremely high, $150, but I wanted to get the dog done before the weekend. Groomers said they may mussel dog just to control nipping as many dogs will do when someone does to them something they aren't accustom. When we picked up dog they wanted us there when the nail clipping was done. The dog had been shampoo'd. The dog had not been brushed, or very little. An attempt to do the toe clippings was met with typical resistance by dogs who don't like things they are not accustom. Groomer had no skill in dealing with dog. Mussel attached, and the first moment of resistance by the dog she said, I can't do it. So a shampoo, very little brushing and no toe clipping. Price $150.00 No reduction for failing to provide services and their excuse was it took two groomers to attempt to provide services. Of Course they will dispute this review, but don't take solely my word, read the other similar reviews. Pet Smart does much better job and are much cheaper, just wish they had an opening this time. She's took care of my puppy Bear. He suffers from separation anxiety and hates his kennel. She showed so much patience with him and left him looking like a stud. Neva is wonderful and very kind. Brought my senior dog, who was afraid, and Neva was very patient and sweet.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! Like many of the other people who have a left a review have said, I wish I would have looked up Neva's grooming before taking my yorkie there. We took our dog here 3 times because we know it can take a few haircuts to get it just right. Well, the third time will be the last. Neva cut our dogs hair the first two times. There were issues the first time with following our instructions but we didn't complain . We just made sure to give clearer directions the second time. The second haircut was better but still didn't follow through on all instructions. She cut the eyelashes too short after asking her not to. We STILL didn't complain and figured we would try them out one more time. The third time, a new groomer named Brittany was assigned to cut her hair. I gave clear instructions and even showed pictures of what we wanted done. We asked for a trim all around and not to cut the eye lashes. I asked them to do a typical yorkie cut. When I picked her up, she looked nothing like what she did before. She was shaved down all over her body to the point where you could see her skin!! One eye had the lashes trimmed all the way down while the other didn't. She must have remembered that I didn't want the lashes cut after cutting the left side. She was cut so short that you can see the clipper marks in her fur. they left lines in her fur! there was almost no fur left around her paws which makes her look like a little rat. When my wife called to complain, Neva was indifferent and gave a weak ass half- hearted apology. Asked for a refund and she said "oh no, we don't do that here". What kind of business owner expects to have repeat business with an attitude and policy like that?! Gonna spread the word around Arlington and Marysville so that no one else gets duped. I would have given negative stars if I could. The fact Neva hasn't claimed this business in Yelp should tell you everything . read more

I brought our 85 pound German Shepherd to see Chelsea and she was awesome! Friendly, professional, responsive and she did an amazing job washing my dog's multiple coats, trimming her nails and taking great care of her. This is my first negative yelp review unfortunately. While out of town on my honeymoon my parents graciously took my 2.5 year old German Shepherd to get groomed at Neva's. The salon is near my house (not theirs) so they went 40 minutes out of their way one direction to get there because I had heard good things about this salon. I usually bring Paisley to Petsmart or Petco and have had zero issues in doing so but I wanted to support a locally owned small business. My parents were told Chelsea was available for grooming but has previously had a past with a German Shepherd and would only be comfortable grooming my dog if she was not aggressive. I have never witnessed or been told about my dog being aggressive or dangerous to any other human or dog while being groomed or in every day life. She does act like a puppy and has energy (as she is breed for police work) but never have I seen or heard about aggression. They said they could do the job of getting paisley her bath, nail trim, and good brushing. Unfortunately that was not the case at all. I was told my dog was dangerous, aggressive, uncontrollable, and injured employees. Not one of these things was told to us during or even right after it happened without prying. If there was an issue we would have gladly picked my dog up immediately and brought her to someone who has previously managed her with no issues. My dad had to drive back and fourth to the groomer multiple times so he could assist them while Paisley was to get her nails trimmed at the end of the grooming session. After muzzling her for a second time that day no one there was able to manage the dog and only one nail was trimmed. She has itched like crazy since we brought her home. We were charged $150, not sure what for. I understand very well bad experiences can happen but the bigger issue was when the owner Neva was confronted, politely to start. Without any prompting Neva told me they did not abuse or hurt my dog...which is concerning because I didn't think they did....until she mentioned that. She argued and told me that I must be hopping from groomer to groomer because I have a dangerous dog and no one will let her come back. When asked about making the situation right or refunding any of the money she said she will NOT groom aggressive dogs for free and declined any sort of refund OR apology. She made it very clear she thought I was a liar when I told her I have brought her to multiple other groomers and have had multiple other people wash her without me present with ZERO signs of aggression or danger. Multiple times she told me she has been grooming for forty years and dogs personalities don't change overnight so that could not be possible. I asked her why she didn't call if my dog was bruising her and her employees and being so dangerous and she said "she was already in the bath covered in soap and I don't like dogs leaving here with soap all over them" after at least a 15 minute conversation, mostly going back and forth with Neva on the phone, she said someone else was calling and immediately hung up. She called back a few minutes later and nothing had changed. I told her I wouldn't ever want my dog to injure anybody and if we would have known we would have gladly came and got her. I told her I didn't call to argue as we clearly don't agree I called to see if, as a business owner, who I would assume had some customer service skills, she could resolve an issue or at least make it a little less awful. Running a business of my own I know the customer is always always right even if behind the scenes you may not feel that way! Neva does not agree, has zero customer service skills that I have witnessed, and flat out told me she hopes I do not return, and she will not be refunding or doing anything to help out the problem. Neva already informed me she will reply to this review the rebuttal once again. She talked about her calming energies that she tried to use to channel my dog. I think she needs to use those on herself when she talks to clients! ...and after being hung up on a second time I was beyond DONE. Needless to say I will never be returning. read more

I contacted Neva to get my dogs nails and anal glands done, she got back to me right away. We were able to go in between her grooming appointments. Neva is so kind, friendly & she has a great energy about her that I really liked, plus my dog liked her so that is always a good sign. The dogs that were there to get groomed looked fantastic and were pretty happy! The salon is very clean and inviting. Thanks Neva for taking care of my girl, we'll be back! read more

I decided last minute one day to have my dog nails trimmed and I was happy to hear that this groomer accepts walk in nail trims! She was very warm, friendly, and calming to my dogs. I arrived just before closing and she seemed happy to help me and I never felt rushed or that I was holding her up. Her fee was VERY affordable as well. It was $8 nail trims per dog and she charges $5 to pluck ears! That is so nice compaired to other places charging $15-$20 per dog! I highly recommend this groomer. read more
