I said that was fine, and we looked at a few different bouquets before we settled on one because they didn't have the flowers for the others. That's fine. It's last minute, I get it, you have what you have. So, we finally settled on a big, beautiful, lush, full bouquet with lots of pink and purple roses and flowers, and I wanted it even bigger and fuller so I paid extra to upgrade to the premium size which is their largest. All was well, I thought. My cousin sent me a photo today of the flowers and it's NOTHING like what I ordered; it's practically just a few roses and LOTS of green. So I called the florist thinking there had been a mistake. The woman I spoke to was the same woman who took my order, and she said there hadn't been a mistake. She said, "I told you I couldn't do it EXACTLY like the photo", to which I replied, "Of course you couldn't do it exactly like the photo, but it looks NOTHING like it'. Then she said she ran out of money to use more flowers, which was astounding to me considering I ordered the bouquet from their website with their pricing! What do you mean you ran out of money? That's the price you listed it at, if you couldn't do it for that price, you should have said so, and changed the price on your website, not charge me for one thing and give me something else entirely without communicating. Then she continued to argue with me and finally said flat out, "There's nothing I can do to make this right." Like, what?! Ultimately, the flowers weren't what I ordered which was disappointing, but the customer service was the worst. How does she think it's okay to say the things she said? I'm going to try to post a side by side photo of what I order and what I received, so anyone considering using their services will know ahead of time what to expect.

I wished to make arrangements for a tree to be planted in Michigan (near their nursery) in memory of a recently departed loved one. Patrick explained options, described and detailed what trees were available. After selecting a Red Bud tree, a picture of it was sent to my cell phone for approval. It was perfect! Patrick personally delivered and planted the tree. He offered aesthetic suggestions to the homeowner for placement of the tree for optimum enjoyment and reflection. The recipient was deeply touched by our gesture and the caring attitude of Plantiques. Five out of Five Stars for sure!

The process was very easy. We parked across the street, hopped on a tractor, cut down tree, hopped back on tractor, and got our tree packaged up to go home. They shook it down, drilled a hole in it, and wrapped it up for us. There was plenty of free twine to attach to the top of our car and they had tree stands available for purchase. I was sad that we came during the pandemic because I read they usually have a little store/market and I was excited for some warm chestnuts, but I will cross my fingers for next year. Get there fast, though, because they already sold out for the year!

We loaded up and headed out! The property is stunning and very picturesque, with plenty of seating for small & larger parties both inside and outside; including shaded patio seating. The staff was absolutely friendly and a delight. Helen and Janet were phenomenal. They gave us a history of the property, answered any questions we had about the process of the wine making, and checked in on us multiple times. Keeping the good vibes going! They have 12 drinks to try; 10 wines and two ciders, and sampling can be done various ways. You can purchase three tastings for $8, purchase by the glass or by the bottle. Additionally they have both a nonalcoholic and slushes with alcohol. Which was pretty sweet and refreshing on a hot day and already has us craving another one. Oh can't forget they also have some delectable ice cream bar flavors like strawberry lemon cake! I sampled all of the wines and two ciders. My favorite wines were the Itasca, Petite Peal, and Chambourcin. The Chambourcin reminds me of a flat version of the sparkling red they serve at Domaine Chandon, so I picked up a bottle to bring back home to a friend in California. I recommend paying for the charcuterie board as well as it pairs nicely with the wines. The cheeses, fruit and olives were all fresh and tasted great. Big thank you to Helen and Janet, for making our first trip up so special. Will be back for sure when in the area and will start recommending to all of our friends & family.
