I always felt like a number not a person, not the entire person being treated, but just a limb. No accomadations as far as scheduling issues as well. Being a mother you cant always be available when your therapist may or may not be in. Many times i had to wait long stretches (no pun intended) between appointments b/c my "therapist" was off or booked. Also the environment of these type of places is tense vs. relaxed. Jamie Glick, and his facility and staff are what business and help are all about. Jamie himself has the most soothing and relaxing voice, as do his other employees. It's almost like going in for a massage, rather than P.T. They take your entire self and lifestyle into consideration while caring for you. No painful, difficult activities. In other establishments, one usually never meets the owner. Jamie is hands on, at all times. He is polite, caring, and the most accomodating P.T. I have ever known. Have a scheduling problem? Not a problem for Glick P.T. They always manage to work it out without being stuffed into a busy schedule, so to speak. I have had a full knee replacement surgery and am currently being treated by Glick P.T. My time will soon end, as i have almost reached my full potential, thanks to them. Never could get healthy until it was recommended I come and meet with Chris and his team. They were awesome. My son was back in a few month pain free and stronger then ever. My daughter also some sports related issues as well, again, she came back stronger the ever. They are amazing. The focus to detail when rehabbing is fantastic. They are constantly progressing as the injury heals. I had a knee replacement 6 months ago and I'm back to almost 100% better than I was before the operation. I have full range and my leg is stronger than it's been in years. Feels better than the "good" knee and I'm back to playing golf. Can't say enough good things about them. They completely understand and implement the physiology and biomechanics associated with getting back to better than before. Plus it is a fun place to go work out and get better. Ginny, the medical secretary, communicated with my auto insurer and got approval for all PT sessions. Alex is my PT. He read and interpreted my MRI and tailored my sessions to the exact area of the problem. Ray, the PT Assistant, and Angelo, the PT Aide, administer most of the exercises that Alex prescribes. Alex does some. Alex is thorough, articulate and direct. I highly recommend him as a Physical Therapist.

I discovered STM Physical Therapy from a blind referral from my doctor. I had no prior knowledge of…read moreSTM or it's staff. I sprained my ankle pretty badly on a trip outside the country in August 2021. Jehan (Gigi) and her staff were extremely helpful in bringing my ankle back to nearly full functioning. This was my first visit ever for physical therapy and I must say I learned a lot about what they do. The staff is very professional and caring in their approach to each patient. I noticed each patient received individual attention and many of the patients has serious issues like knee replacements or were recovering from strokes. This impressed me. I mentioned to Gigi that I was an avid hiker and she did a series of flexibility tests and noted I had a deficit in the that area. I completed a section hike of the Appalachian Trail through the Great Smokey Mountains (310 miles) just before the pandemic. You can be a strong hiker but overuse certain muscle groups to the detriment of overall flexibility. I learned a series of stretching exercises that have greatly improved by walking ability. The nice think about Physical Therapy is that you can take the "lessons learned" home with you and continue to practice your exercises. And don't forget to buy your leg stretching rope!
