I see all these great reviews and I just don't understand. Unless it's her friends writing them and as a publicist I have seen it happen. This is especially true if every single review is 5 stars (I'm sure some 4 star reviews will magically appear because I wrote this) I even did a little research and saw a review written by Lindsay for a relatives similar life coaching business, hmmmmm.... I found Lindsay to be immature and irresponsible when I hired her. I was having issues in my dating life and needed help. She offered me a phone consultation which I agreed to and asked me to set a time for this phone call. She emailed me back saying that she'd "love to speak to me" and offered a time that I did not specify. Because I really wanted the consultation I agreed to the time she said anyway. I waited on the day of the consult and heard nothing. I called her number but it was going straight to voicemail. I waited even waited an hour after the consult time and still heard nothing. I finally emailed her again to see what the he*l happened. She emailed back saying "Well, you know how it is, I was busy. I travel you know. Oops sorry". I had adjusted my work schedule for her and this was her excuse. I was livid. Professional adults do not behave in this manor. Does anyone even know what training or background this "woman" has? Some months later I started receiving these cutesy junk emails from her with "relationship advice" videos that any person with a medium amount of common sense could just figure out on their own. I unsubscribed. But about a week ago I got yet another email inviting me to some workshop she's throwing. "Life with Lindsay" as I call my new & improved life has been fantastic! She's like a very wise unbiased friend. Lindsay is right that most of the improvement happens during the 90 minute Skype sessions but I am also so thankful for the "homework" and goals we discuss at the end of each session. It's really been life changing at this major crux in my life. I'm 25-years-old and reached out to Lindsay after making the impossible decision to break up with the love of my life, my boyfriend and best friend of three years. I was a mess and no one seemed to be on my side! I cried my eyes and heart out for 4 sessions which I spread out every two weeks. Between sessions 4 and 5, I gave myself a month to heal and healing I did. Lindsay suggested I read The Artist's Way to bring out my inner creator and find confidence in myself again. The book prompts you to (a) write 30-minute stream of thought every morning, and (b) take yourself out on an artist's date once a week. These morning pages quickly transitioned from relationship anger to self growth and realization. They've also helped me come up with my "Big Idea" to start my own business one day soon. Lindsay also suggested I find my spirituality. She mentioned CrossFit was too masculine and intense for my dreary mental state and suggested I shift my focus to restorative yoga. My mother has tried to get me to meditate and read about spirituality for my whole life but it never stuck. Lindsay's delivery must have been different because it worked this time! I found a beautiful studio with the right calming instructors. I've shed a tear or two every time I go but it feels extremely healing. I've also started reading the book Be Here Now to continue my journey in finding purpose and calmness. Lindsay is in one word "amazing". Yeah technically she's a dating coach which initially I thought = weird and why would I want/need that in my life, but honestly she is just so wonderful... My experience with Lindsay Chrisler was nothing short of amazing. I had just moved back to New York and at 32 had been very lucky with my career, but on the personal front, especially love life, I had sacrificed a lot for work. I originally signed up to work with Lindsay as a "Love Coach", but our sessions very quickly became much more than that and altered into an overall "Life Coach" experience. I found Lindsay when I was looking for a couples' therapist for me and my boyfriend. We had been together 6 months and were talking about the future; we had a specific communication issue we wanted to make sure we could resolve before making a more serious commitment. I wasn't sure if a life coach was really what we were looking for, but I really dug Lindsay's website, and we figured that since she offered a free 90 minute consultation, we may as well give it a shot. I really, really like that Lindsay does a consultation. She wants to make sure people are a good fit before she agrees to take you on, and I think that says a lot about her ethics. She is not just interested in making money - she wants to make sure she can actually help. I think that the key to a life coach or therapist is finding one who speaks in a language that makes sense to you, and because Lindsay does such an extensive consultation, you can be confident you are making the right decision. My boyfriend and I felt, from that first consultation, that Lindsay was the perfect person to help us. She is warm, funny, down-to-earth, and her advice is from both personal and professional experience. The tools she gave us to communicate more effectively are practical and have actually worked, and we use them all the time, both with each other and in other relationships in our lives. Her insight into our relationship and the respective ways in which we were individually contributing to our communication problems has helped us both become better people and partners. Delving into our communication issues opened up other things we needed to talk about that were much more serious; Lindsay stuck with us through some tough conversations. I have had a great experience with both Lindsay and Daniel. Lindsay is very supportive and always makes herself available and Daniel will hold your feet to the fire(if that's what you need) In the short time I have worked with them they have helped me debunk some of my long held beliefs that have gotten in the way of finding true happiness.
