Amanda, the receptionist on the line, is by far the worst I've dealt with in Valdosta. I called and scheduled an initial estimate appointment on 18 October 24. She stated the estimate would be $567.50 keep that in mind. She scheduled me for 7 November 2024 for my estimate. That entire day I was at home. When I called and asked where were they, She told me that no one was home, someone rung the doorbell and called my phone which I had no missed calls, and kept my ringer up. Then she scheduled me for 12 November to get my fence and gate fixed. Then the day before my appointment, she called me a day before and said she had to reschedule. Trying not to lose my cool. So 26 November is the new date, and just like before she called me again to reschedule AGAIN. By this point, I'm pissed because it's over a month since I've made the call and all the events I had planned for the holidays have been postponed to next season 2025. The 26th comes, and I see no one has called, came by the house, and its 4:21 PM ! So, I calmly call, see maybe if they were running late, nope... AMANDA tells me, they have to reschedule a THIRD TIME ! Man what ?! They were not going to even call me ! So by now I had every reason to spazz, she tells me 3 December is the new date ........ Thanksgiving plans were cancelled due to this SO after leaving town and coming back, Josh finally came, missed the 1 PM appointment by 2 hours due to another job but he got some measurements and left. I told him the fence and the gate ! Said he would come through tomorrow so I tried to be positive, THEY FINALLY MADE IT after nearly 2 months and NONE of what I stated Prior was the worst of it all ! The day of my appointment (4 Dec 24) On this fateful day, I was thinking by the time I answered Josh's call a little after 9 AM, things would be done and $567.50 was all I was going to come out of. Posted on the website, they looked at ALL the damages and man, what good did that do ?? The technician (josh) was at my doorstep by noon and this is the result .... THEY DIDN'T EVEN FIX MY GATE ! Man said to my face, "I may have missed it" ??? JOSH ! How in helephants did you miss it ?! Charged me $875.14 for a half done job and terrible coordination in the whole process ! Experiences like these make me hate the sloppiness of an establishment. A FRANCHISE ESTABLISHMENT ! This experience makes Ace Handyman as a whole pathetic and OVERPRICED ! Whatever you do, dont waste your time calling. Especially if Amanda picks up. Caught an attitude with me multiple times, tried to accuse me of not making contact. I would fire my receptionist, real talk. THE WORST ! WORST
