I appreciated how clearly she explained everything to my aunt and made sure she understood her options. The office was well-organized, and the staff was professional and friendly, which made the whole visit smooth from start to finish. It's not always easy to find a doctor who combines expertise with genuine care, but Dr. Goldfarb does exactly that. Overall, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate specialist.

I would NOT recommend Dr Goldfarb for parathyroid surgery. She performed parathyroid surgery on my…read morefamily member and first of all blatantly lied after surgery about how many parathyroids she took out. Right after surgery she said they took one "and a little bit", then in the following days tells my family member 3 were taken out. She also failed to send my family member home taking calcium after the surgery (standard procedure at the best in the country Norman Parathryroid center in Tampa, we have a family member who had parathyroid surgery here). She waited for calcium to get low and have symptoms before treating rather than trying to prevent from going low in the first place. Since then we have had nothing but issues and almost a year later now my family member is suffering from hypoparathyroidism and having to take calcium everyday to prevent symptoms of low calcium, which the internet says this is usually a result of damage caused during surgery. I am convinced she is the cause of all of this. The said she had to dig around and go almost to the spine to find one and I think she damaged something causing the patient to now have a life long issue. The endocrinologist are now saying the parathyroid may never come back and my family member may have to be on calcium for the rest of their life (risking kidney stones) or medication which is a shot every day to manage the PTH levels. On top of that, Dr Goldfarb's surgery left a huge noticeable scar on the neck of the patient. We are now questioning whether the surgery was even necessary. Prior to this, there were no symptoms no issues besides slightly high calcium and slightly elevated PTH showing up on bloodwork and now it is a daily struggle to manage and no doctor in town seems to know what is going on. Dr Goldfarb was cocky and over confident and dismissive when questions were asked about difficulties with parathyroid surgeries. She was also not proactive in working with the endocrinologist to help with these issues. I would never send anyone to this surgeon and certainly would NEVER allow her to cut my neck open. People need to be aware that parathyroid surgery isn't as simple as doctors make it out to be. I just wish my family member would have gone to UCLA or even Norman Parathyroid Center in Tampa or maybe didn't really even need the surgery to begin with but...surgeons make money off of surgery, dont they?

She seemed perfectly fine, however this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a medical provider because of the office staff. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS. Omodele Leach (the admin) made it nearly impossible to make an appointment at all, let alone receive care in any meaningful way. I went the extra mile to provide all of my medical records, imaging, surgery notes, etc. in multiple formats to make it as easy as possible to get my information to the doctor, however every single time I contacted Omodele, she made excuses (her computer didn't work, she couldn't download a PDF, she didn't remember, the scheduling person was out, the document was too long for her to read, etc.) This resulted in: A 2+ month delay in getting an appointment None of my records even reached the doctor for review before my appointment The insurance info I provided multiple times was not on file when I arrived The intake form was never sent to me My CD with previous imaging wasn't provided to the imaging facility Dr. Grumley referred me to and then was never returned to me I had to follow up repeatedly to get a response at all (which was irritating for me having a serious but not fatal condition, but would be an absolutely despicable burden to impose on patients living with cancer). I repeatedly received incorrect dates, addresses, and information for appointments and imaging referrals. I had to beg Omodele to give me the correct imaging facilty name and address for an MRI and only received it 1 day before the appointment. It's completely unacceptable that this incompetent admin is the gatekeeper to medical care at this clinic. Dr. Grumley seemed thoughtful and was responsive, but because of her office staff I cannot emphasize this enough: STAY FAR AWAY.

We'll start with the office. Quick responses, easy scheduling, short wait times for appointments, always seen on time. Great communication. Then the doctor. It had been a years long journey of pain and helplessness, and within a minute of talking to him, I felt completely reassured that things were finally about to get better. He told me I was a great candidate for surgery, but of course you want to exhaust all other options first so he sent me to pain management and PT. The referrals went through quickly and when those options were tried and failed, he brought me back in and scheduled the surgery for one month out. From then on, I had a contact in the office who was always available to answer questions about prep and timelines and post op, etc. My insurance wanted to put me in a crap hospital, and he personally went to bat with them and convinced them to cover the surgery at one of the best hospitals in the state. The surgery was executed to perfection. It was a big one. Eight hours of which could only be described as a reconstruction of my spine. They had me up and walking immediately after the surgery, (which I have absolutely no recollection of), but I spent five days in the hospital, walking around more and more each day. They sent me home in a big back brace. I stayed with family for two nights and approximately one week after the surgery I was back home living on my own. Now I'm a month out and he just cleared me to resume full activity and to start PT. Oh, and I should probably mention that the surgery worked! All my pain is gone! I've got the spine of an 18 year old! Not only that but the incision (which was massive. Probably close to 2 feet long) is totally healed. There's almost no sign of it. I was expecting (maybe hoping, yeah, I'm that kind of guy) to have a nice juicy scar, but it's gonna heal up like nothing ever happened. I was in intense, chronic pain for years and it's gone! I had a couple follow ups with the office and now I'm about to go into PT and this year's long journey is about to come to an end. Thanks to Dr Nagasawa.

The fact that i was able to walk the same day straighter and taller than before the surgery was amazing. He and his staff are the best. I had gone for opinions to give other doctors but Dr Nagasawa was so gentle and compassionate and spent the time to walk me through the process and what would be better for me. He was honest about every part and told me what to expect at each part of recovery and surgery. If i could give him higher than five stars i would. I am literally in debt to him for my well being, walking and increase in my height since i don't bend over any more. Thank you so much
