The number one complaint I have always heard from friends about their weddings was always the photographer. Thankfully I did NOT have this issue with Lindsey! I was so ecstatic with the job that Lindsey did for my husband and I's wedding. It was an outdoor wedding at Nature's Point in Lago Vista and the pictures we've seen are gorgeous. For our engagement pictures we had a recommendation of a local photographer in Houston do the photos, and while they weren't bad - you could definitely tell a difference in the quality between what was done for our engagement photos and what was done for our wedding photos. The photos were able to make this bride extremely happy, and so grateful that we went with her. Lindsey was able to work well with a roudy bridal party and capture every moment beautifully. She by far has been one of my favorite aspects of my wedding! I lost my dad a month before the wedding and she was extremely sensitive and made sure everything was very easy for me. She gave me the most beautiful and breathtaking photos that actually make me look back on the day with joy and happy tears. Any couple would be lucky to have such a talented and kind hearted photographer at their wedding who will literally bend over backwards (or in my case lay down in the dirt) to get a great shot! Working with Lindsey was wonderful! I chose her to do a boudoir session as a wedding gift for my fiancé and am beyond thrilled! My inspiration was Marilyn Monroe (because classic) and Lindsey knew exactly how to make my idea come to life. When I arrived for my shoot she had everything set up (including champagne). I was incredibly nervous at first but Lindsey coached me through every pose. She gave me lots of positive feedback about the pics as she was shooting, and after the first few minutes I felt completely comfortable in front of her camera (so important for a boudoir shoot!). I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Lindsey for anyone in need of a photographer. She was friendly and professional at the same time, and I'm in love with the photos she took. The pictures are amazing because she has an amazing eye for what will look good! I can not say enough good things about her. We had a small outdoor wedding and she was great. I am so incredibly happy we went with Lindsey as our wedding photographer. I was one of those brides who was extremely picky about my photos and making sure that they turned out perfectly. When I searched for photographers in the Austin area, I came across Lindsey's portfolio and was instantly mesmerized. Her photos stood out as breathtaking, magical pieces of art. Each one told a beautiful, candid love story that made you fall in love with their love. Her photos weren't just your typical formal wedding pics, nor did she have any extremely cheesy or dumb poses, e.g. the bride & her bridesmaids holding their bouquets in front of their faces (my worst wedding pet peeve)! I showed my husband her work, and he was instantly hooked as well. When I met her for the first time, I was very nervous because I had so many requests for our photos and I'm sure it came across as super bridezilla. Nonetheless, Lindsey was super cool and collective throughout our meeting. She was open to all my ideas and got me even more excited for our wedding. One week before the big day, it was forecasted to rain on our wedding. I can not tell you how many meltdowns I had in those 7 days. I cried and cried, fearing that I was not going to get the pictures I wanted at our venue (which I mostly chose based on the outdoor balconies and how it looked in the sun). I told Lindsey about my concerns, and she responded immediately. She not only helped me try to look at the positive side of things (i.e. overcast sky= best lighting for pics, a chance for cool rain and umbrella pics, etc), she was also extremely on top of it, preparing for the worst and coming up with a game plan if rain was still an issue. That day when the stars did not align for sunny weather, she just worked with it, fitting in outdoor pictures in between the intermittent showers while opting to take more indoor pictures. Lindsey was extremely calm throughout that day; I think this is so important to have on your wedding, especially if things don't go as planned (which I now know happens 99% of the time)! I was actually extremely nervous awaiting our pics, largely because I was worried how the rainy pics came out, and how I looked -- I was absolutely certain I wasn't going to be as beautiful as I was hoping to be due to the rain messing up my hair and makeup! When I saw our pictures, my jaw dropped at how GORGEOUS they came out. It was more beautiful than I had ever expected. All the indoor pictures turned out phenomenal, and even the outdoor pics were still just as pretty. She also did an AH-MA-ZING job capturing all the candid moments. I think those were by far my favorite pics, because they showed not only how fun and wonderful our wedding was, but how truly happy I was that day! And not only that, I felt beautiful in all the pics :) Despite me feeling like nothing went right that day, I realized after looking at our pics that this was in fact the best day ever! Our wedding was SO much more intimate and full of love because everyone bonded and cozied up more from the rain. Lindsey's pictures reflected all that love, and I am so grateful for her for that. Finally, since it rained on our day, I asked Lindsey if she'd be ok with doing a "day after" photo shoot just so I could get those sun pics I had been longing for. She was all for it, so 2 months later, we got dressed in our wedding attire again and took sunny balcony pics that all came out so stunning. I am so happy we did that and that we had a photographer who was so flexible and down for anything. If you want beautiful pieces of art for your wedding photos and friends/family who consistently tell you how amazing your photographer is, Lindsey is hands down the #1 photographer to have! If I could give Lindsey 5 stars, I absolutely would. I cannot thank her enough for the absolutely amazing photos of my October wedding. She had some definite lighting challenges on a deck at the Oasis at sunset, but I couldn't believe the quality of the photos that I received. Every single photo was classy, beautiful, and seemingly candid. She was professional and personable, and turned into a fly on the wall during the reception, capturing amazing candid moments that I didn't realize were being documented. Everyone that sees the photos are totally blown away. I literally can only sing Lindsey's praises! Her talent and personality shine in every photo she takes.
