Visited this shop recently and I was surprised to know they added ice creams and milkshakes. How can I not try?! The staffs were friendly and quick to make the order. They also have special chocolate bars in addition to their truffle and other chocolate collection. I bought their standard truffle chocolate collections and love their tiramisu flavour. I also bought their ice cream and milkshake. Both were rich in flavours. My favourite is their white chocolate mango milkshake. It's a must try item when you visit Lindt at Rosemont. read more

Personally for me I love Dark Chocolates & I especially love Lindt Dark Chocolates no they aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. These little dark chocolate balls just melt in your mouths/the sweet creamy chocolate. WARNING they are highly addictive. The Lindt store is a nice place to get your chocolate fix when shopping at the Rosemont mall. Yes, you can purchase Lindt round truffles just about anywhere locally, but the experience of creating your own bag mix is so much fun. I love the fact that you can grab a bag and start filling and that you can get as little or as much as you'd like - even if it's just a few. They also have an imported section of chocolates which is a little more expensive per pound - Lindt is produced in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Austria and the US, and I believe these are the chocolates that come from these countries like the Reber Mozart Chocolates (from Austria), Caffarel (Italy) and Lindt that is produced in Switzerland. I love buying the chocolates from this section as well. I've always had good customer service in this store. I'm always greeted upon entering and offered a sample. It's definitely a store to stop in for all chocolate lovers. I must say if it's warm/hot outside, beware that Lindt truffles melt very easy. I've had them melt in my purse and coat pocket before within minutes so I always know to keep them in the shopping bag after purchasing. read more

As soon as you walk in you see a bunch of chocolate under glass on the main counter. We also saw four flies buzzing around all over the chocolate. They were going from one slab to the other. This Lindt store was smaller than I was expecting/ was used to, but it had the same level of charm and friendliness that I have experienced at larger stores and it seemed to have all the usual options like the one side of sphere shaped truffles and then the other side of those seemingly more random/ various pay-per-pound chocolate/ not chocolate options. Whenever I come to this mall this is one store I always have to visit. Especially since I don't come to this mall very often. I usually get these lindt balls that have like little coco nibs in it. Those are my favorite! And I usually get wome seasonal ones or some of the basics. And I feel like this would be a good chance to try ones that you've seen at the store but don't want to buy a whole bag. They have two sides of the lindt balls cause they are different prices. And they have the gift bags, the bars, boxes and everything in between. And of course the holiday stuff that they do. Honestly would recommend to anyone that loves lindt to go to the store. Plus the staff is super friendly and will help if you need it. And they only let 5 people in at a time cause it's a small space. read more

This review is aimed at the Lindt Chocolate Cafe right outside the Lindt store at the Rosemont Mall. The Lindt store itself is great, good selection, good service. The service at the cafe is very poor. After placing our order, first, only one drink came out, and it was the wrong one. It was supposed to be an iced hot chocolate and instead came out hot. The other two drinks were completely forgotten. After waiting close to 15 minutes, we went up asking what happened to our drinks. Instead of taking full responsibility for the problem, the staff began to place blame on one another. They did end up making the drinks we ordered, but $5/drink for a wrong order and a 20 minute wait in a mall was not acceptable. I understand that mistakes happen, but when they do, you apologize, correct the mistake and make sure the customer is satisfied. The drinks themselves were good. The iced hot chocolate was tasty and the peppermint hot chocolate was sweet and refreshing. But based on service and pricing, I would not return. read more

They were passing out a free sample of the mint Christmas truffle. It was delicious. I wish you could buy it individually or at least in a smaller package than the $28 one! We picked up some individual truffles. Watch out on the price, though. If you get a pound or more, it's $16/lb for the regular truffles. If you buy less than a pound, you pay 65 cents per piece, which is much more expensive. We didn't realize that until we were checking out, because it was written in fine print on the pricing sign. In most candy shops you can get less than a pound for the same price per pound. I really like the chocolates! read more

Lindt chocolate is a great chocolate candy shop. They have a very brand specific packaging that is very recognizable. The chocolate is very good and I love the flavors that they carry. My only complaint was that the sign said $16/lb but when we cashed out we were charged .65 each. ??? We purchased 15 chocolates that came to $9.75 + tax. I weighed the bag and it was less than a half pound but we were charged for more than a half pound. I looked again at the sign, and sure enough it said 65 cents each if less than a pound, but it wasn't very obvious. I don't think that's right but we bought it anyways. I should have said something or just told them I didn't want it or maybe even went back and got a whole pound. I guess I'll know next time. read more

Stopped in with my daughter this past Saturday and it was just the pick me up we needed from dealing with the pandemic. Fyi ..I never write bad reviews!! I am so pissed..I can't even believe this happened to us at the Lindt store. We've been coming here for years and is one of favorites.Today is a different story!! My daughter and I walked in and I told her she could pick out a bag of chocolates and as much as she wanted. You can get 100 for $25 so I wasn't to worried. I walked away from her for 2 seconds looking for a different flavor. My daughter handed me the bag with she picked out about 10. I asked if she was sure she didn't want more and then she grabbed one more coconut one. We walked up to the counter and this black woman working there ( I am not racist, my best friend is black) . Stared at me and said your daughter was eating the chocolate! I was like "excuse me?" And she said my daughter who is 11yrs. Old put a piece of chocolate in her mouth. I was like you must be mistaken she would never do that and asked to see the wrapper. Which of course she couldn't find. If you know how big a truffle is you would know you can't eat it in 2seconds..they are big and she would have chocolate all over her face and I raised her right!! She doesnt steal or nor would she even eat anything without asking me ..even if I set them on the coffee table at home for her to eat she would still ask if she could have one. Anyways, then I asked to see security cameras to prove it. The lady said they don't have any. The lady was completely lying, you could see it on her face. The other lady working said she believed her co worker which was crap.I feel like I was getting punked or something. I told her she was lying and needed to prove it and I really think she was being racist!!! I believe how is was treated and it was so embarrassing! My daughter is so upset! She is so confused why someone would excuse her of eating chocolate if she didn't. I will never shop there again and we shop there all the time. First, Lindt chocolate is delicious. You cannot complain about the chocolate. The prices and promotions they run are usually good for this type of quality chocolate. I cannot complain about the service either. Our last visit to the mall, we were on the way out and our 4 year old was asking to walk into the store to buy chocolate. He was disappointed when we told him that we would not go in this time. An employee from inside, rushed out and handed him a sample chocolate. Family crisis was averted. I come to this store every black Friday for their buy 3 get 2 deal. My experiences before tonight have been nothing but pleasant but tonight, my family and I were treated like criminals and I am disgusted with how we were treated. While I picked candy, my mother and cousins stood out of the way holding completed bags. Granted, they were near the door, but, in the black Friday crowd, there aren't very many out of the way places to stand in a small store. As I worked on the 3rd bag, my mother called my name, asking if I wanted them to hold the bags. An employee (short, heavier black woman with glasses) had approached them and taken the bags from their hands (without their consent) to put behind the counter. While I'm well aware they will hold your items at the register, I have never had a problem keeping my bags with me and having companions hold them. The employee also kept insisting that my mom and cousin wanted to go sit down, though they weren't making any attempt to leave the store. It seemed that she was essentially trying to put them out after violating their personal space. After that, she trailed after me, hovering as if I planned to grab a display case and run away with it. I was and am still extremely insulted. On a normal day, I would have left without buying anything, however visiting this store was literally the ONLY reason I was out at 1 AM on the craziest shopping day of the year. What makes it more insulting is that I spent a considerable amount of time in the store, spoke to several other employees to enquire about sales and flavors, and (even after accidentally knocking over a case of candy and drawing lots of attention to myself) took my time selecting candy for 4 of the 5 bags I purchased. The entire time, my family waited for me in the same place. We did nothing indicative of plans for grand theft truffle. As much as I hate to be "That person" I believe we were singled out because we were the only black customers in the store. Lindt, please retrain this employee on proper customer service. I am saddened to leave a negative review because all of the other employees we've encountered have been absolutely courteous and respectful, but I have a hard time supporting a store that treats me like a shoplifter. I just want to express my discomfort in my last visited to the Lindt Store in Rosemont IL in the Fashion Outlet mall, I don't understand why you guys open the coffee kiosk business to the public without a proper training to the employees, my experience started with the cashier she asked me for a chocolate flavor when I decided, she hold me for a while then she went to asked her peers and then she told me that flavors are only for hot beverages, I chose and then I waited 18 minutes(it was not busy at all) to get my 2 beverages, than any barista knows the recipes, they was reading their notes, they was very nervous, sweating and dropping things accidentally, at the end I felt more disappointed when the frappuccino was only milk and ice almost any other flavor, the other frappuccino filled ¾ cup filled. That was a horrible experience for me and I hope this help to you guys improve the service. read more

I love Lindt chocolates but the cafe that makes frozen drinks is worthless. There is no flavor and it is an absolute waste of money.

Must try. Hot chocolate or frozen drinks. Happy hour from 3 pm to 6 pm.
