When my best friend told me she had seen ads on Facebook promoting a woman-owned gun store, I immediately adjusted our plans and contacted the owner, Brandi, who accommodated us with a private lesson on a day not listed on the online schedule. Brandi was super responsive and paying the invoice sent to my email was seamless. After the lesson was over, we couldn't stop talking in the car drive back about how relaxed and more confident we felt with a pistol. The proper technique behind breathing was a game changer, as well as practicing the difference between the wall and trigger. We felt we weren't rushed or in competition with one another and the time given to us to demonstrate understanding before moving onto the next task was so valuable since we were beginners. Immediately we were greeted by Milo who was very welcoming, friendly and gave us fantastic service. Milo did our PPT in a breeze. Although Milo's shop was smaller he had quality firearms, ammo, Glock bags, and other gear. This shop also had the same North American Rescue compact medic kit that the shootist carried and I happily bought it here instead. I appreciate that Milo doesn't discriminate against those who can't wear masks. When I got home Milo messaged me back from a prior question I had on yelp to him and he apologized that he got busy and couldn't reply sooner. No apology needed Milo because you took great care of us and other customers in there with better/faster/kinder service than Turners or Shootist!

After finishing the rounds I brought, I noticed my groupings were down and to the left. Since I had just installed a new optic, I thought it might not be zeroed correctly. On my way out, I decided to ask for some advice. Mike was extremely kind and took the time to ask a few questions to understand the issue. He then gave me about 36 rounds, told me to grab a new target, and said he'd meet me in a lane. Long story short, he spent 10-15 minutes helping to figure out the problem and got me shooting in the right direction ;) at no cost. I didn't expect that at all and couldn't be more grateful for his time. I also met Steven, the owner, who was just as friendly and took time to answer my questions about purchasing specific firearms. At no point did I feel like a burden. Thanks again for your time, I'll definitely be back, even with a 30-40 minute commute. It's worth it.
