I really can't review to much the Escondido Fish and Game Association as I am not a member, but a guest. Membership to this great range apparently has a 2 year wait list, and requires you to be part of the NRA. Regardless I came for an Appleseed event, and am probably coming back for a pistol steel challenge. While it doesn't seem as massive as some other ranges, it is beautiful and well up kept. The range itself is located inside a wildlife preserve and the surroundings forest and mountain backdrop is gorgeous. Most out door ranges I've been to are against some large mountain in the desert with vast expanses of nothingness. While the longest range I believe was only 150 Meters, the back drop was literally green forest and trees behind the berm, and it was quite gorgeous. The range has actual decent bathrooms, a large BBQ pit area and is quite organized. Definitely different than your run of the mill outdoor ranges like Angeles or South Bay Rod and Gun in which it actually feels like a little community. I can see where the membership dues goes to. While I would probably never get a membership here (That wait list is a little daunting, and the range is quite a long drive up a mountain from where I am) if you are in the area this place is second to none. They have tons of competitive events, and seems family oriented. Quite awesome.

Combat match today. Not me, one of the guys in my squad.

I was at the December 6 pistol steel match and at the end of the day I forgot my gun belt. I'm checking to see if anyone turned in a lost gun belt and if so I would like to pick it up asap? Thanks

Onthe the web site under Contacts, Board of Directors, there is an email address for the Chief RSO. He should be able to help you out.

I have lived in Escondido for over 29 years and I am interested in joining a gun range. Do you have a map or information on your range? What is your membership fees and I would be interested in becoming an RSO? Do you have a waiting list? Can I visit

Information on membership is available on our web site (www.escondidofishandgame.com). Also, there are many events that are open to the public (also described on the web site). If you participate in any of the events, you will quickly learn a lot…

This is a pretty fun Airsoft shooting range in the North County Mall. You get 50 rounds for $10.99…read more I had gone about a month ago and their price was $9.99 so they increased the cost already in the first month (see photo). If you knock down all 30 targets you can win a prize like at an amusement park or fair so it's a nice bonus. The Airsoft weapons seem fairly accurate and of good quality. They have eye protection, hand sanitizer and also plexiglass between each lane so you can distance a little bit, protect your eyes, and let your hands stay clean in these covid times. If you've got a little time on your hands waiting for someone else to finish shopping, this is the place to be. If anything, it's a fun way to test your skills on an Airsoft rifle. I've gone twice now and we had fun! ________TL;DR_______ PROS: it's fun, seems quite safe, and if you do well you can win a prize. You can take as long as you like to line up your shot. CONS: price is a little high for basically firing an Airsoft rifle at targets, and they increased their price from a month ago. BOTTOM LINE: a good way to spend a little time if you're waiting at the mall and fun to hit those targets. Would be nice to see them go back to $10 , and definitely hope prices don't go up next month.

I've never heard of this place until I walked by and saw it. Of course it's not a real shooting…read morerange but it's still fun and very affordable to shoot. They have about six lanes and all the guns are air rifles that look pretty real. You get about fifty pellets for about eleven dollars. Here's a tip take your time shooting because fifty goes real quick. This would be a great place to take someone who is a new shooter. Overall this is a great alternative to a real shooting range.
