Popped by the store to see if they had what I wanted and they did not, so decided to buy something else only to find out they (the same store) sells the same thing for cheaper online. I asked if they could price match themselves as I was coming in to buy more items and they flat-out refused and well, I won't be buying anything from Cupid Boutique any more. Is online cheaper because the competition is much greater? I have no idea. I mean many of these places even include shipping with online so why bother going to their store. Of course she was distraught and felt she was never going to find a dress. Well Dream put my daughter's mind at ease as she isn't a size 18 but a size 14! Bridal stores apparently have a much smaller sizing scale and Dream told her if she doesn't find anything else (in regular stores) to come back. The dress we truly liked for my daughter was a bit out of our price range and she didn't coerce us to buy, which is so refreshing. If you are looking for really nice plus size clothing that is not frumpy, this is a great place to start. Most items are very reasonable, prom dresses being as they are with all the bling are a bit pricier, but not ridiculous. Just wanted to let everyone know about this gem that's also run by a gem! Sales person suggested I try the two selections out to see how I liked them, which I did. There was no mention of an exchange only policy and it was a busy day in the small store Took bras home but found they were too uncomfortable and I couldn't wear them. Returned next day. I was told items were exchange only that I should have made myself aware, the onus was on me to find out about the return policy as there are signs in the store. There was nothing in the fitting room where I spent all of my time. Paid in good faith with debit so I do not have the backing of my credit card company. My Top Drawer sells their service but I feel deceived after making a near $400. purchase. Once they have your money they intend on keeping even after only 24hours. I don't believe a disclaimer after the fact is adequate , when I wasn't wearing my reading prescription and when the selection promoted was an alternative to the correct choice.

The staff is always friendly, patient, and willing to help. They have a huge selection of costumes and whatever else you're looking for... lol. Plus it's an outlet so you'll find some awesome sales. Some things are full price but a lot of stuff is discounted and the quality is the same! They offer a 20% discount on regularly priced items with a student i.d. which is practically unheard of! Last year they had a costume blowout, $5 for men's and women's (some were discontinued, some had a button that fell off or the smallest speck of lipstick on them). This year they had really nice ones on sale, $15-30 and then the regularly priced ones ($50-70). It's quite big too, I always find what I'm looking for. I love this store and my boyfriend does too!
