I wanted to leave a review (LONG OVERDUE). My first rental with Leti was in Dec 2023, may I say the first ever rental car experience in Mexico and she made it so easy and great! Service and cost was great! We have rented from her three times after that and each time she is just such a joy to see. when we arrived in AI earlier this year, we were very unsure where to get a rental car. Fortunately Linh professional was close to us so we went there. We were so lucky! Letty and Pepe are just the nicest people and their cars are always in good condition and clean and less expensive than the big airport car rental companies. I simply cannot say enough good things about Linea Professional. The gentleman with whom we engaged simply checked off all the boxes regarding giving excellent service. The prices are simply great. Cost from GDL to Ajijic by taxi is $40 US each way and it's more than offset by the higher price of renting a car at the airport. From now on when we are in Ajijic we'll certainly use them again. Linea Profesional located on Ajijic's carretera or main street is an excellent place to rent a car. It is centrally located in Ajijic. Leti, the owner, handles all the details quickly, efficiently and pleasantly. The cars will be insured in Mexico and you will be able to drive with confidence in the vehicle. I rented a car from Leti for five weeks and she charged me a reasonable rate. I do plan on using Linea Profesional again when I return to Ajijic. I don't drive the car too much or too far but it is a great convenience to have when you're going from one place to another along the carretera. read more

We were very happy with our rented auto in Chapala. Letty could not have been nicer. When we met, she hugged me as is typical in Mexico. The car was perfect, excellent condition, very clean, and reliable. They brought the car over to my hotel (The SR Hotel near Chapala Hacienda), and then they picked it up there at the end of our trip. At L.P., the price was right, no hidden charges, no surprises, and a Nissan Versa which is the perfect size for Ajijic. Easy in, easy out, and we will use L.P. for every trip to Ajijic. Anyone with experience or who does their homework knows that it's generally painful renting a car in Mexico. Most agencies publish cheap rates but surprise you with huge insurance charges once you arrive to pick up your car. Cars are often in marginal or bad shape. Not so here! The owner, Ana, is EXTREMELY pleasant to deal with and is tremendously flexible and helpful in serving customers. On our first trip to Ajijic we spent our last night and day in Guadalajara and for a modest charge she (personally) got a ride to our hotel to pick up the car and dropped us off at the airport on the way back with it. This is a great example of the wonderful service we have received on our numerous trips to central Mexico and one of the reasons we love it there so much! If you plan on renting a car to visit Lake Chapala its worth the cab ride there from the airport to avoid the airport rent a car agencies and get one here instead. read more
