We got 5 quotes for trimming three cypress trees that were overgrowing and rubbing against the side of our house. John came to give us an estimate on trimming back some branches on the tall Douglas fir trees in my backyard. They gave us most competitive price out of all the quotes we got so we decided to go with them. On the day of the work, the crew arrived on time and the work was performed in a timely manner. We asked them to just to leave them in the corner of the yard and we would cut them into smaller logs ourselves. However, they were so nice they they actually cut the branches into logs and stacked the logs neatly for us. John came out to give us 2 different quotes because we didn't know what direction we were going in. After getting probably 10 companies to come out (due to the size of our job, $, and not knowing anything about trees, possibly selling them, etc.), John and Lineage Tree Care were the cheapest but also the most knowledgeable and the least "salesman" type of vibe out of everyone. They took out 10 trees total, 4 out of the 10 were about 2-4ft from our house, LARGE Cedars. They were safe, didn't rush it, no damage whatsoever. They were running late but, let me tell you that the job they did was well worth the wait. After what must have been a very long day, they were all still so professional and kind. I showed a picture of a bonsai and said I wanted a couple of larger maples and a dogwood in that style. With that, Paul went to work like an artistic ninja and in no time at all they looked exactly as I had wanted. My plum tree was finally properly pruned. The end result was absolutely perfect. On top of that, I pruned a small shrub while they were working and when I went to clean up, the young man had grabbed it. So nice of him. I had a landscaper prune them last year, but there is no comparison to the expertise of this tree service. Lesson learned! I am so happy with the result. read more

They not only made my massive hedge of 40+ Leyland Cypress's look ahhhh-mazing, they cleaned up like nothing happened. The folks at Lineage Tree Care were fast, professional, and did a great job. We had a yard that was absolutely overgrown with trees. They helped us determine which weren't set up for success (due to the fact we have a giant redwood in our yard) and thus good candidates for removal. They also pruned four neglected cherry trees (which we didn't even know were fruiting trees!) so we will have cherries in the next year or so as well as some routine trimming. Everything looks great - and came at an extremely fair cost! In fact, they did such a good job we plan on having them out again. They took a hectic yard overhaul and made it into a single morning of work. I could not recommend them more! John's crew did an excellent job pruning a very large hornbeam hedge as well as my viburnum hedge. There was a bit of an issue after completion of work, however, John had the crew back in short order to fix that and I am very pleased. First of all, I would like to say that the owner Jasper was very personable and easy to talk to and seemed extremely knowledgeable about our trees. Just talking to him, I could tell he was a nice honest young man. He looked at a crabapple tree that was pushing our sidewalk up and gave us advice regarding this particular tree. But, what we had him out for was basically to get rid of two towering Leyland Cypress trees that we had planted for privacy but had let get way too big. We also needed some limbs from our neighbors' tree removed that were hanging in our yard from the last snow storm. We have a very narrow, small yard that I assumed would be hard to work in. He even gave us a couple of suggestions for what we could possibly plant for privacy. He did not make me feel rushed, as I had quite a few questions. The crew arrived on the day we had agreed upon, even a little early. I was surprised at how fast they completed the work. Like I said, we have a very small yard with a deck, so I was surprised at how quickly they completed the job. They did a wonderful job pruning our neighbors' trees and taking ours down. They cleaned up our yard extremely well and I was thoroughly pleased with them. I would highly recommend Lineage Tree Care, and in fact, our neighbor watched and is calling them to have a tree taken down in her yard. Jasper and his crew are superb!
