The man can work magic!…read more I had a couple of friends who lived in the area in need of alterations and I'd researched and even called almost all of the other places in the Natick/Milford area, and no one else -- by their own admission -- had the expertise to do the kinds of alterations we needed. Mind you, I'm talking about essential stuff here, like tapering trousers. I talked to Michael on the phone and he said that he could taper pants, take in suits, and do all of the important stuff. This put him head and shoulders above any competitors... if he could fulfill his promises. Turns out he could, and then some! My mind was blown by how Michael managed to, not only make all of the adjustments we needed with expert precision, but also work a couple of miracles that shouldn't even be possible. For instance, he was able to take in the waist on denim 5-pockets. That is NOT something you can expect any old tailor to do. (Trousers and chinos have room for that but denim doesn't) and on top of that he was able to invisibly narrow the shoulder seems of a dress shirt, which is another thing that you can't really ask for. (In this case, he offered.) My friends looked amazing in their outfits and I was left feeling sad that I'd probably never work with Michael again because I live in Boston. He was contagiously upbeat and had an incredibly dry, but potent sense of humor.

Too much material taken off making the dress way too revealing, completely uneven hem along the bottom. Not only that, but they were so rude, wouldn't let her try on a couple different pairs of shoes to make final choice, and pushed her out after 30 minutes. I found Sienna after doing some research, and easily made an appointment for me and my friend the following week. Working with Sienna was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We were given all the time we needed (And we needed it! On one visit, I brought my friend 17 pairs of shoes to try on, no joke!), she listened to exactly what each of us wanted for our dress alterations, and she miraculously totally fixed the botch job the other tailor did. When we first went in, my friend was convinced she'd need to scramble to find a new wedding dress with just 30 days time, and after just a couple visits, she had a gorgeous dress that looked as though it was made just for her. Sadly just a few months before her wedding it was cancelled. My daughter was flying in for a scheduled fitting with Dao and on top of finishing her fitting properly with no rush to pick up her dress when completed, Dao gave her a discount as well as bestowing my daughter lovely, kind words of wisdom and encouragement and told her that she was meant for someone better and this cancellation was just the way to make room for it to happen . My friend and I both had our wedding dresses tailored with Dao (without knowing the other was…read morecoming here too!). In general, there will be 3 appointments spaced out over a couple months. Surprisingly, the appointments are not very long. The first appointment, I wore the dress and Dao immediately told me a list of things she needed to fix (things that I am clueless about so I cannot verify if true or not) and provides a quote/invoice. The second appointment is a double check. The final appointment was my longest one as I asked her to make a small tweak, which she did on the spot. I did notice that the dress felt more supportive and structured on the last visit due to the work she did (adding boning etc). She usually has one other associate working in the shop and together, they are extremely good at hyping you up as you try on the dress. Cost wise, my friend and I both spent about $1K each on our dresses. In summary, Dao is very confident in her skills and vision and it is clear she has a lot of experience in wedding dresses as her entire shop is lined with wedding dresses. PS. My friend looked STUNNING on her wedding day - the dress fit like a glove and was so flattering. She told me you can take the dress back after your appointments if you need more work. PPS.
