Linh is amazing. She's altered several pairs of high-end denim. I brought in one pair as a test and had Linh take in the waist. In my experience, it's really difficult to find a tailor who can take in the waist of denim without it hanging a bit funny in the back, but Linh altered them perfectly!! I've brought others for her to alter, and each pair fits flawlessly. I saw one reviewer who was perturbed that Linh wasn't "open" when they stopped by. Either this lady is bi-polar or racist (possibly both). I messaged her to explain some alterations I needed done to a dress and she told me to come in and bring the shoes I'd wear with the dress so she could alter the length properly. I showed up and she told me I could do the work myself!!!??? I told her that I wanted someone with experience to do it and she told me it would cost $45. I replied that the price sounded fair and began to show her another garment that needed alterations and she interrupted me and told me she wasn't going to do the work and to please leave!!?? Our interaction was as simple as that and I was in total shock- just completely dumbfounded as to why she would run a customer off! I'm a Latina and I was dressed in yoga pants and a t-shirt with no makeup, so maybe she thought I wasn't "high class" enough to pay $45? Or perhaps my race was what it was about, or a combination of both? Either way, it was quite an experience. Obviously, I can't discourage people enough from avoiding this place unless you feel like risking going to a place to get a simple task completed only to be told you can do it yourself and be asked to leave. ‍ read more

An important thing to know before coming here is that Lihn only takes customers by appointment, and she only accepts cash or check as payment. When she didn't answer the phone the first time I called, she quickly called me back within 1 hour to schedule an appointment time. At her house, Lihn has a separate room dedicated to her alterations and a curtained area to try your clothes. She was very friendly, professional, and informed you regarding the prices ahead of time. I dropped off my pants on Monday and they were ready for pick-up by Thursday. My total for hemming the 3 pants was $30, which was very reasonable. I was nervous because the items were really expensive and I didn't know if you she would be able to pull it off and what do you know? She did. We originally had a pick-up date of 1/12/25 but she contacted me on 1/8/15, to say she was finish and I could pick them up. My husband was extremely satisfied as was I. She has customers for life.
