My daughter is having her wedding this September and for the occasion I needed to get a blouse stitched for a sari I bought in India. Indian Ladies Tailoring and Alteration did a great job with my sari blouse, it fits like a glove and the price was extremely reasonable. They even bought the lining for my blouse. I had other blouses to stitch but Indian Ladies Tailoring and Alterations insisted that they do one blouse before entrusting them with the rest. Excellent results! She is so professional, fast, and responsive. We were running late to a drop off (we were planning on picking up our clothes a few days later), and when she found out we'd driven 30 minutes to her, she delayed personal plans and insisted upon doing our alterations right then and there. She did a marvelous job. My dress was altered to perfection within a few minutes, and my husband's outfit was done very quickly. Let me start with saying this... I usually don't write reviews! However, this one deserves it. I was in urgent need for alterations for bridesmaids outfit. I had 2 days to get it fixed. In spite of such short time Madhu fixed it for me. This was not an easy job. She had to open up the entire dress and put it together by adding additional clothing. Madhu didn't hesitate even once to take care of my urgent need. She was so nice and professional that at one point I felt bad for bringing something last moment for her. She will do anything to make her customers happy. She knows true meaning of customer care. I live in Orange and I don't mind the drive for a person like her. WOW what a find! This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Madhu was very responsive and easy to schedule an appointment with from the beginning. She was able to accommodate a quick turn around request for a lehenga top I was wearing for an upcoming wedding. The experience in the fitting was great! The business is in her converted garage in a nice neighborhood. Her price was extremely fair (much lower than what I had been quoted at two shops in LA) and she turned the top around in only a few days. She also gave me some tips for how to wear my outfit since it was my first time wearing Indian clothing. She texted me when the top was finished and the final product fit perfectly. Living in South OC, it's a little harder to find a tailor that knows how to work with Indian clothes without having to do the 1.5 - 2 hours roundtrip to Artesia. I was super excited that I found Madhu back in April as I inherited a few classic sarees from my late maternal grandmother but had no saree blouses to go with them. Madhu custom stitched 3 saree blouses based on my requests (higher back, longer in length, sleeves hit before my elbow). These blouses fit beautifully! She was super easy to work with, listened to my requests, adjusted sizing, and was super fast! I had the 3 blouses done within a couple of weeks! I also needed a kurta top made but had no cloth with me. She was able to help me with cloth, design, and fitting. Maduh is awesome! I called two other tailor shops for my Dirndl dress and they wouldn't take me. I called Maduh and she was super quick and her prices were very reasonable. So much so that I gave her $20 more because she did a great job and had my dress was ready in three days. I also had Maduh sew small tablecloths, all four sides needed to be hemmed. I was having a huge party and she came to the rescue and got the tablecloths done super quick! Maduh's English isn't great, however we worked through it together and her son can help if need be. She is such a sweet lady, you will not be disappointed! read more

I highly recommend, I brought my bridesmaids dress to Manu (sorry might misspelled her name) she is so sweet. She did an excellent job and was very quick. I got my maxi dress hemmed 4inches shorter and added (2) side slits to open it up and add some style. Her prices were so reasonable and fair. I immediately brought my other more expensive dress to be hemmed. She did a fantastic job and will continue to work with her. I found my new favorite and best alteration lady. There is a little language barrier, but her family translated if needed. She had great communication (we text about price and when it was ready for pick-up) very CLEAN and professional. It was so easy to find her place and I went around the side entrance to enter her clean garage turned business space. It was cool with a fan and changing room with mirror. I'm thrilled to support this small business and very happy with the alterations. She does great work and charges a fair price with quick turn around.
