The quality of the work is top notch.Their follow-through on servicing it, when we needed it, was gracious and swift. And through it all they have been really good-natured people. RUN and do not use for any upholstery and I can't imagine how they are actually in business. Pay attention to all these reviews on Yelp... they are true / do not patronize Linson's. Too long a story to tell... synopsis: - October 2024 took measurements and had materials - Jan thru June 2025 was assured the work was almost completed... told this multiple times. - June 2025 said we needed our $ back and cost of fabric reimbursed... within a day got the check AND the fabric that was still on the bolt - never been touched. Best part was the expediency of returning $ and fabric.... After 8 months! Still confused about the whole thing. Only put 1 star - had to in order to post review... save yourself headaches and frustration... go somewhere else! read more

The poorest customer service: no communication or follow up, no accountability when job has not been completed or even started within the promised time frame, no attempt to prioritize a job that was promised 6 months ago. Lost or failed to order my pillow fabric paid for two years prior. Significant overcharge on total order. Didn't respond to multiple emails, texts, voicemails over 3 months to find out status of my pillows. Finally had to purchase replacement pillows elsewhere for the opening of our new home. Two pillows were finally delivered after I purchased replacement pillows and after they were of any use to me. The other two pillows were never delivered. read more

Linsons has great fabric at very fair prices. Highly recommend! The owner and her assistant are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Initially owner did an excellent job, however follow up with office staff and installer was poor and dishonest; installation of double shades left 2inch gap; we complained to owner who vowed to fix but never did. read more

Linson's equals disorganization and no-follow through to the extreme. I was promised a part last Fri, when I got to the store was told that the wrong part shipped but hey, no worries, the right part was being overnighted and an employee would stop by that same day or the next. And yes, they had my phone number. It's now Tuesday and nothing so far. No calls, no stopping to check, nothing. I have left repeated calls - to no avail. It wouldn't be so bad if the ordered item isn't an intricate part of the repair of blinds - without which a house sale may fall through. Candace is the exception to the rule. read more

Very Disappointed to say the least.. I needed new blinds (5 windows and one large patio door) so I went to Linson's. I took samples home and decided on a few different ones, so I scheduled someone to come out to my house (Lupie) and measure and set things up. We set up a 1:00 time and when that "came and went" and it was 2:00, I called and they said that they had not talked to her and didn't know where she was.. bottom line.. she never came, never called, even the next day to tell me why she didn't show up, and that was it. Disorganized and they do not follow through with what they agree to do. They agree to timelines which are not met and agree to call when the products are in and they don't call. Then they promise to deliver as soon as a product comes but forget to tell you the delivery will be after work hours. When the products are finally in your hands the work is incomplete. read more

We made an appointment on Saturday. On Thursday, the owner and her daughter came to the house. They explained everything and made their recommendations. They were very knowledgeable and affable. After they had explained all of the options (and had recommended the lower-cost option for our particular situation), they took our order and the measurements. They will have their crew install the shades at a time that we requested. The negative reviews do not jibe with our experience. read more

We worked with Linson's to select a heavy-duty fabric and reupholstering of a chair, and paid them handsomely for it. The fabric started wearing through within a few MONTHS of the project. When we brought it up to Linson's and showed photos, they committed to working with the manufacturer to propose a solution. Never heard from them again, despite repeated attempts. Very disappointed. Stopped in to scheduled an appointment to have the windows measured. Lupie set it up for the next day. When she was 45 min late, I called and left a message. Finally got a return call an hour and 15 min after the appointment time. The explanation was her previous appointment ran late. So, we rescheduled the appointment, for Monday, even though they are typically closed. It was Lupie who requested the Monday appointment, not me. Again, she didn't show up and again, no call. Will be finding someone else in Santa Fe to provide window treatments for our home. read more

The "estimate" is almost always just that and you end up being charged 20% more when you pick it up ("it took an extra half hide", etc). The process of figuring the charge by Lupe looks more like just coming up with some number to pad her bill than any true itemization or accounting. The material they got for my project was not comparable to the sample they originally showed me. Although the workmanship is good, the process of working with them is painful and the finished product was disappointing due to what I suspect was cutting corners on the quality of the leather to increase the profit margin. :( read more

High prices, inattentive customer service, long delays, and products not as ordered. There's no craftsmanship...they can barely make a banco cover without having to adjust it due to poor measurement (and they had the old cushions with them AND came to the house to measure for themselves). Although fabric was ordered from choices that were said to be "in stock" we waited MONTHS for the order, which was delivered SIXTEEN weeks after the scheduled due date. But, other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln? There are great upholsterers in town, but this is not one of them. Run, as fast as you can, to someone who knows what they are doing and can deliver as promised!!! read more

Extremely disappointed! I am at a loss for words. A month after the order for blinds was placed I stopped in and found out that they hadn't even started. They said that they would call and never did. Two months after that (more than three months since the initial order) I call and find out that they still haven't even started!!!!! read more

To put it simply, this shop is terrible! They do poor work, don't call back as specified, and aren't timely. I had a piece reupholstered and they didn't pick it up as promised. They then took two extra weeks to finish the work and then delivered it with stain (mind you I has it reupholstered with new fabric which they ordered) and sloppily done work. When I call them to remediate, they don't call back. To say the least, I won't use them again. read more

Linson's Interiors recently re-upholstered a club chair for me. While the workmanship warranted five stars, the lack of customer communication bumped my rating down to two stars. Phone calls were not returned and timeline promises were not adhered to. The manager/owner, Lupe Linson, seems to have a perverse resistance to responding to phone calls and her assistants followed her lead by being passively unresponsive as well. The two-month time frame for getting the job done extended to almost three months. Arm caps took another six weeks, after being told it would only be two, as not enough material was initially ordered. As suspected, a phone call prompted the work to get done. This is a lousy way to run a business, unnecessarily alienating customers who would otherwise be pleased with the excellent workmanship. Unless you are prepared to deal with an exasperating experience, find another upholstery service. (I suspect that those customers who use her services on a regular basis receive better treatment.) read more

Stunning results! The workmanship was top notch. It took awhile to get the work scheduled (complete re-springing and reupholstering of a couch and two chairs), but that's because their reputation locally (despite two negative reviews on this site) is solid. On 5/31/16 I took one Hunter Douglas shade to be repaired as the internal string broke. I was told that the repair was free under warranty and that I would just pay for shipping. They said shipping was $75.00 which I thought was high but I would look at their shipping receipt when the shade came back. They said they would call me. They never called so Thursday, the 4th of August, I called and they said the shade was repaired. They told me $75.00 for shipping plus tax. I said I wanted to see the shipping bill and then they told me it was repaired in house and wasn't shipped. I said I would come in the following day to pick it up. When I went in to pick the shade up I was told that I would now pay the repair cost instead of the shipping cost as they repaired it themselves. I explained that I was told the repair was free under warranty. They gave me the run around but finally saw the point, I was told one thing and then they could not show me a shipping receipt so they switched to repairing in in house and I was to pay as IF it was shipped out. They finally saw my point and did not charge me as the repair, they said initially, was under warranty. Beware of their "free" repair and just pay shipping. They fix it in house and then try to charge you shipping! I am glad I asked for the proof of shipping costs. read more
