However, at a follow up check up (for looking at how wisdom teeth were coming in), the dentist cracked open a tooth which ended up falling apart later that night when I had no prior concerns, pain, wiggliness, etc to said tooth. Called back the next day and they basically said there's nothing they can do except book me another appointment. I don't have insurance so I feel absolutely robbed with the fact I walked into a dentist office and walked out with more (expensive) teeth problems and no reimbursement. Really sucks.

Doctor says I didn't ask the right questions and he did what I asked him to do. Doctor also says he didn't touch this part of my tooth when removing cement or in the cleaning. This is absurd. The clinic then made me pay for this tooth procedure stating that if I didn't they would send the bill to collections. As a new patient to this clinic, I requested to have a cleaning and some cement removed from my tooth. I would NOT have done it if the appearance of my front tooth would be changed. I wasn't given any preventative advice. As a patient I want my doctor giving me their best advice BEFORE they move forward with the procedure/touch me. Not after!...then say to me too bad, you should have asked more questions. Completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time, money or emotions here.

I think people rating her badly for root canal failures later down the line don't understand dentistry, that's not on her that's the gamble of the procedure. A root canal is kind of a last ditch effort to save a tooth. It's not pretty and it's painful to heal because that's the nature of an intense procedure which also isn't her fault that's just the way it is. Her and her team are so caring and patient. They do their best to calm, treat, and help you in any way possible. They even called me in a prescription for an antibiotic before my procedure when it started to hurt without making me drive 2 hours just to get it. I ended up under her care because I broke a buckle tooth eating kettle corn because I but down on a hidden kernel just right. I metabolise all numbing agents extremely fast which I told her beforehand. She kept checking on me during the procedure and even stopped to give me more and make sure I was comfortable again. Such amazing bedside manner. She's also extremely skilled! There wasn't any banging around hitting other teethn pinching of my lips, or any gum bruising... which can all happen. Very clear after care instructions and she gives out her personal cell for after hours emergencies! She's a rare breed and I highly recommend her in every way! Thank you Dr O'Keefe!
